Pharrell is bringing his Something in the Water Festival back.
After missing three years due to the pandemic, the festival will return on Juneteenth weekend, June 17-19. Instead of being held in Virginia Beach like past years, it will move locations to Washington, D.C. with another star-studded lineup.
The three-day event, celebrating celebrate art, culture, and music, will feature performances from Tyler, the Creator, Usher, and Lil Baby, along with Lil Uzi Vert, Ashanti & Ja Rule, and Roddy Ricch. Pharrell will also take the stage with some surprise guests.
Other acts on the bill include 6LACK, BIA, Blxst, Calvin Harris, Chloe x Halle, Dave Matthews Band, Davido, Dominic Fike, EARTHGANG, Lucky Daye, Moneybagg Yo, Pusha T, Rae Sremmurd, Sabrina Claudio, Snoh Aalegra, Syd, Teyana Taylor, T.I., Tierra Whack, and more.
SITW was previously held in Pharrell’s hometown of Virginia Beach, but he decided not to bring it back to the city following the fatal 2021 police shooting of his cousin, Donovon Lynch.
Three-day passes will go on sale to the general public beginning Saturday, April 30 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans who purchased passes for previous years will have access to a pre-sale on Wednesday, April 27.
