Throughout this speech, Mahomes spoke about how no one believed in the Chiefs this year. Moreover, he spoke about the team’s “rebuild” and how he doesn’t even know what that is supposed to mean. “I’mma be honest, I don’t know what rebuilding means,” 27-year-old Mahomes said. “In our rebuilding year, we’re world champs!! I just wanna let y’all know that this is just the beginning. We ain’t done yet.” Overall, it is clear that this franchise has a ton of confidence in its ability to win.
For the coming years, the Chiefs could very well become the new Patriots. If you are a fan of any other team in the league, it is probably going to frustrate you to hear this.
