Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Pine Green” Gets A Release Date

Virgil Abloh’s famed Off-White x Nike collaborations are a thing of legend. The legendary designer first linked up with Nike all the way back in 2017. Since that time, there have been various new collaborations to make their way to the market. Overall, Virgil’s impact on Nike is hard to truly quantify. Although he recently passed away, Nike still wants to push out new Off-White offerings. Simply put, it is a testament to just how much Virgil meant to the brand.

Aside from the original “The Ten” collection, Abloh got to work on a whole plethora of Off-White x Nike silhouettes. Some silhouettes were simply ones that already existed. However, he changed them up so much that they were beyond recognition. One shoe that got this kind of treatment was the Nike Air Force 1 Mid. Although this is a staple of the sneaker world already, Abloh and Off-White flipped it on its head with a spiky and bulky design.

In the images above and below, you can find the “Pine Green” version of this Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid. Immediately, you will come to realize that these are not for everyone. However, they are very cool, so there is that. Firstly, green adorns the upper and the spikes on the outsole. Secondly, the shoe gets an injection of white thanks to the Air logo on the tongue, the Nike swoosh, and of course, the infamous hang tag. Finally, we have an orange Air unit on the midsole. Seeing this unit is very unlike the Air Force 1, so it is cool to see here.

For those of you out there who are bold enough to wear a sneaker like this, you will be able to cop it as of Friday, April 28th. The price on these is $205 USD which makes sense thanks to all of the detail that we find here. Overall, these will be hard to wear, but they will create quite the outfit.
