It seems that the entire NBA fanbase is torn on who should be the winner. The award has been talked about this season more than any other. Recently, former NBA star DeMarcus Cousins even discussed how Jokic doesn’t deserve the award for a third straight season. A case can be made for each finalist this season. All three will be leading their team’s into the NBA Playoffs. However, the voting for the award is already officially over. So playoff performances will not be taken into account.
The heated debate will officially come to an end soon. Following the MVP talk has been an exhausting task. However, the league will be in good hands with whoever is announced as the winner.
