Logic Shouts Out Jack Harlow & Playboi Carti

Logic took the time to give a shoutout to both Jack Harlow and Playboi Carti during a recent live stream on Twitch. After beating the game, Tetris Effect: Connected, Logic dedicated his win to the two rappers. For the effort, Logic streamed the entirety of the game and died zero times.

“Jack Harlow is on my side!” he said. “Shoutout Whole Lotta Red, shoutout Playboi Carti. It got me through this dog. I just beat Tetris, first rapper ever to beat Tetris all the way through, no deaths. Take dat. Rap. I can’t believe I actually did that. Real talk though.” When a fan shared the clip on Twitter, Logic replied, “What a stream. I love you guys!”

The shoutout for Playboi Carti comes weeks after Logic admitted on Twitch that he had never heard Whole Lotta Red. After fans pressured him into doing so, he tossed the project on mid-stream “Yo, this is dope. This shit sounds like a movie,” he said while bumping the Kanye West-assisted “Go2DaMoon.” By the end of his listen, he added: “Ok cool. That shit’s dope! I’m gonna listen to the rest of the album later.”

As for Jack Harlow, the shoutout comes after the release of his latest album, Jackman. He dropped the project back in April with no features and production from Boi-1da, FnZ, DJ Dahi, and several more. Harlow also made his acting debut in the new remake of White Men Can’t Jump. The new film dropped on Hulu, Friday, to mixed reviews online.

It isn’t the first time that Logic has shouted out Jack Harlow. Back in 2021, he praised the rapper’s collaboration with Lil Nas X, “Industry Baby.” “Bro I love how much you are yourself,” he said of the track on Twitter. “Snapped.”
