It didn’t stop Lakers fans from being just as loud and passionate when cheering on their team.

Some in the media are slowly coming around to the idea that the Lakers can make a run to the NBA Finals. Then they began playing as one unit. Now, they find themselves with the opportunity to prove a lot of doubters wrong. But the struggles during the regular season didn’t do them any favors with their playoff matchup. If the Lakers were to get by the Grizzlies, they would meet the winner of the Kings-Warriors series. Which would be another difficult change for any team. Not just the Lakers.
Step one is complete for James and the Lakers. The win on Tuesday means the team can have some rest before their first-round matchup.
