TikTok is solely responsible for the reintroduction of 90’s and early 2000’s classics these days. One of the latest song trends comes from R&B legend Mariah Carey, whose 2009 hit, “It’s a Wrap” is taking over—it even has a dance. Yesterday (Feb. 20), the songstress teamed up with reality personality Kim Kardashian and their daughters for some wholesome fun on the clock app. Their rendition, unsurprisingly, has already garnered nearly six million views.
Mariah Carey’s daughter Monroe kicks off the video with North West Kardashian in the home she shares with her siblings. As they get in their groove, the girls are interrupted by their mothers, who come in from the sidelines in an attempt to steal their shine. They’re no match for their celebrity kids, however, who quickly shoo them off. The crew appears to have spent the day together according to other TikToks on Kim and North West’s joint page.

It’s a wrap! But never for us!
When she’s not on dinner dates with dad, North West spends her time creating more of a name for herself on TikTok. The mother-daughter duo currently have 14.5 million followers on their ever-entertaining @kimandnorth page. The rehearsing is useful as they prepare for the sequel to Paw Patrol. This will be North West’s acting debut, starring alongside Kim, her brother, Saint, and a legion of Hollywood stars. Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie is set to release in October 2023.
In addition to her acting skills, North West has garnered a bevy of fans for her artwork. Just last week, the nine-year-old caught the attention of Ice Spice with her rendition of the Bronx beauty. The drawing, inspired by North’s love for Ice and PinkPantheress’ “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2” drew a grateful response from her fav. When asked about the drawing, Ice Spice thanked the nepo baby and praised her for her skills. “She’s so talented,” the curly-headed artist told one reporter. When it comes to North’s social media presence overall, Kim Kardashian has set rules in place. She tells The Goop Podcast “[TikTok] can only be on my own phone.” In addition, “It’s not something where she can scroll and look at things. We don’t do comments. She loves to do it and it makes her so happy.”
