Kendrick Lamar fans have waited five long years for a new album, but he’s making it worth the wait.
The Compton rapper has hinted that his upcoming album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers will be a double album.
On Tuesday, a new folder was uploaded to his website oklama.com titled “master” and containing a photo of someone, possibly Kendrick himself, holding a pair of CDs. One is labeled “Mr. Morale” and the other is called “Big Steppers.” Both titles were handwritten in marker on the CDs along with “Master Copy.” The photo also includes a red book that shares the same name as the album title.
His subtle hint wasn’t lost on fans, who speculated that the two discs mean that Kendrick is about to drop a double album like hip-hop icons including Biggie, Tupac, and OutKast.
Kendrick dropping a double album just shows how powerful and evenful this album will be for him. For him to come back with so much to say after 5 years?! I’m ready.

If this Kendrick album really is a double album then I’m sure we’ll get another great project. Big and Outkast dropped classics, most fail. Kendrick will pull through.
