Finesse2Tymes Breaks Silence On GloRilla Concert Stampede

Finesse2Tymes and GloRilla’s performance in Rochester, NY this weekend was anything but smooth. Authorities confirmed two deaths during the concert following a stampede that took place in the venue. Police initially believed someone fired gunshots in the venue. They explained panic ensued among audience members afterward who tried to rush for the exit. Authorities confirmed three injured people who the ambulance took to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, two women died from their injuries in the hospital a short while later.

GloRilla immediately issued her condolences following news broke that a woman died during the stampede. “I’m just now hearing about what happened wtf,” she wrote. “Praying everybody is okay.” Then, police confirmed a second death to which GloRilla issued another statement. “I am devastated & heartbroken over the tragic deaths that happened after Sunday’s show. My fans mean the world to me 😢praying for their families & for a speedy recovery of everyone affected,” she wrote on Twitter. However, Finesse2Tymes had yet to share any statement regarding the fatalities.

Finesse2Tymes Sends Condolences

Finesse2Tymes kept rather quiet over the past few days but he shared a brief statement on Instagram recently. “Shyt crazy, wunt even there, folks want me to lose so bad. Why?” he wrote on his Instagram page. However, these comments ultimately infuriated fans since he didn’t even acknowledge the fans who died during the concert. Still, Finesse2Tymes explained to TMZ that he frequently faces accusations of creating chaos at his concerts, such as the shooting of a cannabis shop in Tennessee.

“Sometimes when you winning and you done won so fast — like right now, I’m like a created player in an NBA game or something, so I’m frowned upon,” he said. “But as far as the situation in New York, condolences to the family and the people who was injured. That’s what I wanted to say.” He explained that “it wasn’t nothing violent going on” that led to the deaths of two women. “I think it was a situation where someone fell, and people started running, things got out of control and innocent people got hurt,” he added.
