Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have officially welcomed their first child, and Chris Brown was one of the first to congratulate the new parents.
Just moments after the news broke, Rihanna’s ex shared well wishes for the new parents. While he didn’t mention them by name, it was pretty clear that his message was directed at the couple.
“Congratulations,” he wrote alongside the prayer hands, heart, and baby bump emojis.

Rihanna gave birth to her first child, a baby boy, with A$AP Rocky on May 13 in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. They have yet to reveal their son’s name.
Chris and Rihanna dated from 2007 to 2009 before their romance came to an end following an argument which escalated into physical violence on the night before the Grammys. Chris was charged with domestic abuse for assaulting his then-girlfriend. He ended up accepting a plea deal that included community labor and five years probation. They briefly reunited in 2012 before going their separate ways.
During a 2012 interview with Oprah, Rihanna reflected on their relationship. “We love each other and we probably always will. And that’s not anything that we’re gonna try to change. It’s not something you can shut off if you’ve ever been in love,” she said.
Chris is a father of three himself. In January, he welcomed his newest child, a baby girl named Lovely Symphani Brown. Lovely’s mother is model Diamond Brown. He and Ammika Harris also have a 2-year-old son named Aeko Catori. In 2014, he welcomed his daughter, Royalty, with ex-girlfriend Nia Guzman.
Chris is gearing up to release his new album Breezy on June 24. He recently shared the tracklist featuring Lil Wayne, Jack Harlow, Anderson .Paak, Tory Lanez, and Wizkid, along with H.E.R., Ella Mai, Blxst, and Fivio Foreign.
