Nike Dunk Low Gets Another “Year Of The Rabbit” Scheme

One of the best shoes on the planet is the Nike Dunk Low. It might seem like a wild thing to say, however, it is hard to deny the truth of the matter. This is simply a timeless silhouette, and fans have always adored this model. Additionally, it is now seeing a huge resurgence.

Having said that, Nike is making the Dunk Low part of its plans for new lines. One such line is the Chinese New Year collection. The “Year of the Rabbit” models have been quite plentiful. In fact, fans have been graced with a White Candy Rabbit offering. Now, there is another “Year of the Rabbit” Dunk Low on the way.

A New Nike Dunk Low

This model is certainly a lot different than the first one in terms of color palet. With the offering down below, we get a shoe that takes some neutral tones as opposed to flashy reds and blues. However, it is still very much a great offering that fans should enjoy.

Firstly, this shoe has some beige on the toe box and near the back heel. Secondly, the side panels have a purple taupe feel, all while the overlays are white. From there, more beige is placed on the Nike swoosh which is made with Chenille. Lastly, a rabbit is stitched into the back part of the heel, which makes for a great look.

If you are someone who prefers neutral tones, then these are most certainly for you. However, if you like something louder, than the Candy White Rabbit offering is definitely for you.

If you are a huge sneakerhead, then you probably own a Nike Dunk Low or two. Throughout the past two years, this silhouette has been having a huge resurgence, and it is easy to see why. Overall, it is just a great shoe that offers a ton of versatility.

In 2023, it has become clear that this sneaker will continue to see popularity. However, Nike understands that it will have to get bold as some sneakerheads may be fatigued by the abundance of releases. For instance, the next Nike Dunk Low certainly has a fun new look to it.

Nike Dunk Low For CNY

Below, you can find official images for the Dunk Low “Year of the Rabbit” which is being nicknamed “White Candy Rabbit.” There are numerous Chinese New Year offerings at this point, although this one definitely stands out from the rest of the pack.

Firstly, the sneaker beings with some white leather overlays. Secondly, the toe box and side panels are a very subtle grey. From there, we have massive pops of color thanks to the red chenille Nike swoosh. Lastly, there is even some blue as we go to the laces and the outlines on the tongue and cuff.

Overall, this is much different than some of the other Year of the Rabbit models we have seen. If you love these, we hope Nike comes through with lots of stock. As many already know, Dunks have been incredibly hard to come by, despite being a staple piece.

Luka Doncic has delivered his first-ever signature shoe this year, and it is called the Jordan Luka 1. Doncic certainly deserved his own shoe considering he is a future MVP. Hopefully, he can even win a title one day, although if he continues to get no help, then it is unlikely.

That being said, the Jordan Luka 1 has proven to be quite popular so far. Jumpman has given this shoe quite a few colorways, and fans have largely been enjoying them. Now, with Chinese New Year on the horizon, it seems like the “Year of the Rabbit” look is coming to the Jordan Luka 1.

Next month, it will be Chinese New Year. This time around, it will be the “Year of the Rabbit,” and we have already seen plenty of sneakers that were made for the Holiday. Interestingly enough, the Air Jordan 23 is set to be part of this massive collection.

In the official images down below, you can see that this shoe carries forth a common Chinese New Year aesthetic. Firstly, the upper is mostly all-white. From there, we get some gold writing on the toe box. Furthermore, the tongue logo is a nice red pattern, while a rabbit’s head is placed on the inside of the tongue.
