When you think of the two words, Jordan MVP, you probably think about all of the NBA MVPs Michael Jordan has. Additionally, you likely think about how he has won six NBA Finals MVPs. Overall, this is an incredible accomplishment that he will always be able to cherish. If you know anything about sneakers, you understand that Jumpman has always tried to honor these accomplishments. After all, Jordan Brand would not exist if it weren’t for MJ’s greatness. These accolades are worth the celebration, and they always make for some incredible sneaker concepts.

Over the years, Jumpman has created a plethora of hybrid silhouettes. These silhouettes typically take numerous models and combine them to create something unique. Although these aren’t always well-received, Jumpman still attempts to innovate. Consequently, fans can expect a new Jordan hybrid model this year. As you will see in the Instagram post below from @kicksdong, this shoe just so happens to be called the Jordan MVP. It is the perfect name for the shoe, especially when you consider the concept.

Based on these initial photos, it seems clear that the concept is the first three-peat that Michael Jordan secured for the Chicago Bulls. During this time, Jordan was wearing the Air Jordan 6, the Air Jodan 7, and the Air Jordan 8. With this sneaker, you can see how the midsole and the upper of the sneaker replicate the Jordan 6. Secondly, the tongue of the shoe gives us major Jordan 7 flashbacks. Lastly, the Jordan 8 is represented by the colorful overlay that is found on the side, just above the midsole prior to the back heel.

As for the first color scheme of the Jordan MVP, you can expect a gorgeous “Raptors” makeup. This sneaker is black with red and purple highlights. Sneaker Reseller at Center of Nike and StockX Lawsuit Received 38 Pair of Fake Jordan 1s

The battle between Nike and StockX wages on. After suing StockX for selling counterfeit shoes, Nike brought forth documentation revealing that a famed sneaker reseller received fake shoes from StockX.

Nice Kicks details the reseller received 38 pairs of fake sneakers. The discovery came as the reseller was seeking to purchase pairs of University Blue, Mocha, and Hyper Royal Air Jordan 1s. He was hoping to hold the sneakers for a price hike as they recently dipped. @SockJig reports the reseller is one of the main keys at the center of the lawsuit.

Nike reportedly visited the reseller to confirm the sneakers were fake and the reseller would end up receiving a full refund. StockX currently operates under the return policy, revealing, “an order is created and we are unable to offer returns, exchanges, or swaps. You can always resell the item on our platform if you no longer wish to keep it.”

Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Big Bubble” Unveiled

If you are a sneakerhead who loves Nike, you understand that the Nike Air Max 1 is a very important shoe. Overall, the entire Air Max line is extremely beloved. There have been numerous iterations of the Air Max over the years, however, the Air Max 1 always seems to draw all of the attention. How could it not? This is one of Tinker Hatfield’s most prized creations. Ultimately, it even helped him get a job designing sneakers for Michael Jordan.

What makes this sneaker unique is the fact that you actually see the Air unit in the midsole. Although this does not seem like a big deal, it certainly was at the time. It was as if Hatfield was stripping back the shoe’s parts in an effort to display the inner workings to the consumer. Many thought he was crazy for this, however, the design has stood the test of time. These days, the bubble on the side is quite small. This goes against Hatfield’s original schematics which detailed a much larger bubble. Thankfully, Nike is now bringing Tinker’s original vision back to life.

Above and below, you can find the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Big Bubble.” This shoe definitely fits its name very well. Firstly, the sneaker opens up with a gorgeous shade of red all throughout the toe box and side panels. Even the Nike swoosh is red, which adds that pop. Secondly, the toe box is white while beige overlays help complement it. Overall, it is the midsole of the shoe that shines as we get that nice white glow with a large translucent bubble near the back. Tinker will definitely be proud.

Stephen A. Smith is one of the most entertaining people in the entire sports world. Overall, his talents are mostly encountered on the show First Take which airs on ESPN. Smith has been a mainstay of the network for years, and we can’t imagine ESPN without him. At this point, he makes upwards of $10 million per year, which is quite significant. However, based on all of the content he produces for them, it almost feels as though he is being underpaid. Either way, he is a legend of the broadcast world.

If you ever tune into First Take, you know that Smith is quite fashionable. He is someone that always brings it with his suits. Although, very rarely do we get to see what he is rocking in terms of his sneakers. Smith is only seen from the waist up, which robs us of knowing his preferences. Luckily, he got to showcase his taste in footwear while appearing on Complex’s Sneaker Shopping series. Smith went to Stadium Goods in New York where he went in-depth on his style choices and which shoes are his favorites.

As you can imagine, Smith has a very special affinity for Air Jordans. He has always considered Michael Jordan to be the GOAT, and this extends to the sneaker world. Moreover, Smith’s favorite Jordan sneaker seems to be the Air Jordan 3. Overall, Stephen A. loves the design of this shoe. He also likes it because it ushered in an era where MJ was actually winning games out on the court. From there, he subsequently gave props to Allen Iverson for his work with Reebok. He also praised Under Armour for protecting Steph Curry and his ankles.

At the end of the episode, it was revealed that Smith had bought two pairs of sneakers. When Michael Jordan came back to the NBA after a stint playing baseball, he could be found wearing the Air Jordan 11. Overall, this immediately became one of the most legendary silhouettes of all time. Fans were enamored by this sneaker, and it is easy to see why. The silhouette was made with dress shoes in mind. Every single year, we get two special Air Jordan 11 releases. The first release is meant to be a women’s exclusive. Secondly, we get a general release closer to Christmas in all sizes. Secondly, chocolate is represented by brown patent leather that goes around the midfoot and toe box. Lastly, pink can be found on the back heel and even the tongue. Overall, this makes for a truly amazing sneaker that will surprise a lot of people.

If you are not a fan of the Air Jordan 11, then these will likely not be for you. This is meant to pay homage to the OG “White Cement” offering. The big difference here is that the grey cement is swapped out for a gorgeous shade of red. The “Bred” offering is an OG Air Jordan 4 that fans have always adored. Now, it is coming back in a big way. Firstly, the sneaker is covered in black nubuck. Secondly, the midsole here is grey and black while red peaks through on the outsole. The Nike Air logo is set to be placed on the back heel, which will satisfy the Jumpman purists.

As for a release date, nothing has been revealed as of yet. However, it is being claimed that these will drop in March of 2024.
