The exclusive trailer for Tubi’s upcoming documentary, Shattered Glass: A WNBPA Story, debuted yesterday on Blavity’s Shadow and Act. The inspiring film centers on four WNBA MVPs – Jonquel Jones, Nneka Ogwumike, Breanna Stewart, and WNBA icon Sheryl Swoopes, and brings attention to their world and accolades in their careers in professional women’s basketball.

SHATTERED GLASS: A WNBPA Story dives deep into the lives beyond the court of the next generation of basketball luminaries, Jonquel Jones, Nneka Ogwumike, and Breanna Stewart, as well as WNBA legend, Sheryl Swoopes. From intense off-season routines to the intricacies of family dynamics to navigating the politics of women’s sports, this documentary offers viewers a rare, all-encompassing look at the athletes as holistic individuals.
The film is directed by Andrea Buccilla and the documentary features an all-women team for development and production. Executive producers include Breanna Stewart, Nneka Ogwumike, Jonquel Jones, Jessica McCourt, Terri Carmichael Jackson, Rebecca Otto, Faith Suggs and Sheryl Swoopes, with Erin Gilchrist managing the production.
Interestingly, Shattered Glass: A WNBPA Story is presented by a collaboration between PUMA with additional support provided by Crown Royal Regal Apple.
