Nike LeBron 7 FAMU “Gorge Green” Officially Revealed

One of LeBron James’ best signature models would have to be the Nike LeBron 7. Overall, this is a shoe that has been around for over 10 years at this point. It has received a ton of great colorways, and that will not be changing. Although there are other LeBron models to get to, fans still clamor for this particular silhouette. After all, it is easy to see why this would be the case. It has given life to a whole bunch of great offerings, and there have also been some incredible retros over these past few years.

However, it seems like the brand is focusing on creating new offerings that correspond to LeBron’s love of HBCUs. For instance, throughout the years, LeBron has had a partnership with Florida A&M. This is one of the biggest HBCUs in the entire country and LeBron has paid homage to them with his shoes before. Earlier in the year, we even saw the Nike LeBron 7 FAMU in a black color scheme. Below, you can see the newly created “Gorge Green” model.

Firstly, this shoe immediately pops thanks to the mostly green upper. Furthermore, the shoe has some orange highlights throughout, which adds to the overall aesthetic. There is even a white Nike swoosh that contains an orange outline and some black specks. The FAMU logo is then placed on the tongue for good measure.

According to Sneaker Bar Detroit, this sneaker is going to be released in the not-so-distant future for a price of $200 USD. However, no official release date has been announced at this time. Nike LeBron 7 “Florida A&M” Release Date Revealed

LeBron James has some incredible sneakers in his arsenal, including the Nike LeBron 7. Just a few years ago, this shoe was celebrating its 10th anniversary. Consequently, sneakerheads were hit with some incredible retros and even some new colorways.

Now, the Nike LeBron 7 appears to be making a comeback, albeit in just one colorway. The model in question is a “Florida A&M” PE which LeBron wore back in the day. Originally, this shoe was made for no one else other than the players on the team. Now, it is dropping in the retail market.

The Florida A&M Rattlers are an HBCU sports program that is well-known across the country. LeBron has had a partnership with the team for a while now, and it is only fitting that the HBCU sneaker gets a wide release. HBCUs are starting to get more respect, which is certainly a good thing.

Firstly, this model is covered in black materials such as suede and some composite fabric on the sides. From there, the Nike swoosh is red with white speckles. Furthermore, the outline of the swoosh is green, which is a shade that appears throughout the silhouette.

Overall, this is a very cool shoe that will appeal to anyone with an interest in the Rattlers. It is nice to see these models getting some shine, and we hope that LeBron and Nike have even more great sneakers like this on the horizon. You can never go wrong with some kicks like this.

LeBron James has some amazing shoes, and the Nike LeBron 7 is certainly included in that. This is a shoe that LeBron wore during his first bit with the Miami Heat, and to this day, fans continue to talk about this silhouette. Overall, it is just a dope offering that fans cannot get enough of.

A couple of years ago, this shoe got to celebrate its 10th anniversary. This led to all sorts of retros and new color schemes. Since that time, Nike has focused on the LeBron 8 and LeBron 9. However, it seems like they are going back to the LeBron 7 for a new color scheme that will turn heads.

This shoe is the Nike LeBron 7 “Florida A&M.” LeBron James has had a deal with the Florida A&M Rattlers for a while now, and this shoe is meant to pay homage to that. Of course, this is something that will be appreciated by not just the players, but casual fans as well. This is because this shoe will be available at retail.

Firstly, the shoe comes through with a mostly black upper. Subsequently, green and red highlights are placed all the way throughout. This is a reference to the team’s colors, and it works out perfectly. Lastly, the Rattlers logo is placed on the tongue, which brings it all together.

The LeBron 7 was already an amazing shoe, but this colorway is a great addition to the library. Overall, if you are a Rattler fan, it is hard to avoid these. It’s not every day that the team gets a shoe. Hopefully, LeBron and Florida A&M continue this partnership for a long time.
