The Nike Air Foamposite One is one of the more polarizing creations from Nike. Overall, it is still a very cool shoe that will always remain unique within the Nike library. It is a shoe that was first popularized by none other than Penny Hardaway back in the 90s. Subsequently, it became a huge sneaker on the East Coast. Although, in recent years, it hasn’t had the same luster it used to have. Much of this is due to a lack of great releases. Yes, that’s right, in 2012 we will get a retro release of the Nike Air Foamposite one “Galaxy.” This is going to be mind-blowing news for any sneakerhead. However, it is going to be good news, all the same. Firstly, this sneaker is known for having a shell that is filled with blue and purple galaxy aesthetics. Secondly, the shoe has a black upper portion, while the outsole has a glow in the dark quality to it. Overall, this shoe just has everything going for it. No, it can’t be worn with anything, but who cares? At this point, it has earned its place in the sneaker Hall of Fame.

At the time of writing this, there is no release date associated with the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy.” However, we do know that these should be coming out in the Spring of 2024. Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Red” Release Date Revealed

For the last few years, the Nike Air Foamposite One has found itself in an interesting situation. Overall, this is one of those sneakers that tends to be pretty polarizing for sneakerheads. This is due to the fact that the shoe has a very unique design. Penny Hardaway made these famous in the 90s, and for the most part, they were an East Coast thing. However, there is no doubt that people all over the world cherish this silhouette. The only issue is that these days, it doesn’t fit into the trends that typically help push other models.

This is actually a sneaker that first came out all the way back in 2012. Moreover, it got another retro in 2017. Now, it is going to be making a comeback with its original details. Firstly, you can see that the entire upper is covered in a gorgeous shade of red. The metallic moniker certainly makes a whole lot of sense here as the shoe has a nice glow to it. Furthermore, the shoe has some black leather details all up the sides and the laces. This black is also found on the tongue for good measure. Once again, Nike has perfected the Foamposite aesthetic.

The release date has actually been set for June 16th with a price of $230 USD. That is in a few months from now, which gives fans time to decide if they truly want these. Nike Air Foamposite One “Dream A World” Release Date Confirmed

One of the best shoes to ever be worn by Penny Hardaway was the Nike Air Foamposite One. Overall, this is one of those shoes that you either love or hate. Regardless of how you may feel about it, there is no doubt that this shoe has a real cult following. This shoe is especially popular on the East Coast, with New York being a primary arbiter for this silhouette. Although the shoe has lost a bit of popularity, there is no doubt that a lot of people still absolutely adore these.

While new colorways are typically few and far between, Nike is always trying to do something new with the shoe. This is good news for sneakerheads who have been hoping for a Foamposite resurgence. Furthermore, it is great for collectors who just want a pair to say they have them. Either way, this is a silhouette that ought to be celebrated. It is truly unique and it will always be iconic, regardless of how tastes may change.

“Dream A World” Nike Air Foamposite One

The latest Foamposite to be revealed is this “Dream A World” offering which can be seen above and below. Overall, this is a unique color scheme that goes against the monochromatic versions some fans are used to. Firstly, the main color you see here is a light and cloudy blue. However, the upper is a mixture of colors that are mixed into a blurry glow. White, black, and light blue can all be found here, and it is hard to pinpoint the inspiration. Secondly, the overlays that go up the laces and the tongue are grey. This is then paired with grey and light blue laces.

Nike Air Foamposite One “Penny PE” Revealed

One of the more polarizing sneakers out there is the Nike Air Foamposite One. Don’t get us wrong, this is a classic sneaker. However, there are plenty of sneakerheads out there who do not care for the silhouette. It is one of those cases where they are an acquired taste.

Of course, Penny Hardaway is the man responsible for making these so popular. While playing for the Orlando Magic, Hardaway was constantly wearing Foamposites, and they gained a cult following. Overall, it’s hard to imagine these being popular without Penny’s influence.

Nike Air Foamposite One Returns

During his time in Orlando, Hardaway used to wear an all-white pair of Foamposites. These were nicknamed “Home” as they went with the Magic’s white jerseys. Unfortunately, this color scheme never made it to the market, however, that is going to change in 2023.

In the official images below, you can find the 2023 version of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Penny PE.” Firstly, this shoe opens up with a white upper. From there, black is found on the tongue, cuff, and linings. It makes for a simple color scheme, albeit one that appeals to Penny fans.

If you love the Foamposite, then you need to go out and grab these. This is a shoe that fans have been begging for, and now, it is going to hit the market. Hopefully, Nike has plans to drop even more great shoes that never hit retail. After all, it’s a good way to make a boat load of cash.
