Trey Songz Sued for $20 Million By Woman Accusing Him of Anal Rape

Trey Songz is facing a $20 million lawsuit from a woman who claims he sexually assaulted her.

According to the suit, obtained by TMZ, the Jane Doe says she had a consensual sexual relationship with the R&B singer before he suddenly turned into a “savage rapist.”

She claims that Trey invited her to a house party in L.A. on March 24, 2016, when he took her upstairs for what she believed would be consensual sex.

But things took a turn when Trey allegedly asked her if he could “get that ass” on the way upstairs. She repeatedly told him “no” and to stop asking. That’s when the woman claims Trey threw her to the ground, ripped off her pants, pinned her down, and forced his penis into her anus without consent.

She screamed in pain and tried fighting him off, but she says she was overpowered. She hoped the “brutal rape” might end when someone entered the room, but she says the person quickly left and Trey allegedly continued raping her.

After the alleged assault, she grabbed her clothes and ran outside to call an Uber. The Uber driver noticed she was in distress and took her to a hospital, where she claims a sexual assault exam was performed and the police were called.

The woman says the exam showed she had “severe anal tearing that could require surgery.” She didn’t name Trey to police because she was “in shock and fearing for her life.”

She is now seeking $20 million in damages from Trey. The woman’s attorney, Ariel Mitchell, also represents two women who are suing Trey for alleged sexual assaults in Miami and New York.

Trey has denied the allegations. “The allegations in this complaint are false. Trey looks forward to having the facts fully aired,” a rep for the singer told TMZ.

“Earlier today, the attorney who drafted this suit was credibly accused of trying to pay a woman to falsely accuse Trey,” added the rep. “Hours later, that same attorney has filed this suit on behalf of an anonymous client. It isn’t hard to see what’s happening here, and it is a shame for genuine victims of sexual assault.”

Roddy Ricch Addresses Criticism Over Album Sales

Roddy Ricch is responding to the criticism surrounding his album sales.

Just before Christmas, the L.A. rapper released his sophomore album LIVE LIFE FAST, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with a solid 62,000 equivalent album units.

However, it paled in comparison to his 2019 debut Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial, which opened at No. 1 with 101,000 units and spawned the chart-topping hit “The Box.”

In the days after LIVE LIFE FAST dropped, Roddy faced criticism for not performing at the same level as his debut. When he previewed his unreleased song “Out of My Mind” earlier this month, he was subjected to ridicule, which prompted him to deactivate his social media accounts.

“Guess I’m a flop now,” he wrote. “Shit crazy.”

In a new interview with DJ Akademiks, Roddy opened up about the pressure he faced to top his debut and how timing played a factor in the album’s first-week sales. He explained that if LIVE LIFE FAST was released earlier in the year when “Late at Night” was still putting up big streaming numbers, it would have sold more units than Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial.

“That song [‘Late at Night’] was such a crazy song that people caught on two to three months later,” he said. “If I would have dropped an album within that [time frame] and did whatever I did [62,000], I would have dropped and I would have been 180k up.”

But Roddy won’t let the haters get him down. “Just because the numbers didn’t align up or the timing or the plan didn’t really fall the way it was supposed to fall, now ni**as got this different narrative of how they wanna play it, but I know what’s going on,” he said.

“That shit is cool, they can play it however they wanna play it, but I still know I’m an earner.”

Kanye West Says He Takes ‘Accountability’ for ‘Harassing’ Kim Kardashian

Kanye West is having a moment of clarity.

After a whirlwind week on social media, during which he took aim at Kid Cudi, Billie Eilish, and Pete Davidson, Ye cleared out his Instagram account and shared a message with his followers, except this time it wasn’t in all caps.

“I’ve learned that using all caps makes people feel like I’m screaming at them,” he wrote. “I’m working on my communication. I can benefit from a team of creative professionals, organizers, mobilizers and community leaders. Thank everybody for supporting me.”

He also took accountability for airing out his private conversations with Kim Kardashian amid his attempts to win her back.

“I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim. I take accountability,” he said before promising to do better. “I’m still learning in real time. I don’t have all the answers. To be good leader is to be a good listener.”

The day before, Ye posted screenshots of his texts with his estranged wife after he sent a truckload of flowers to her house for Valentine’s Day. In one message, Kim called him out for exposing their texts. “Why can’t you keep any of our conversations private ???” she asked.

Ye responded, “Cause I got a text from my favorite person in the world. I’m your number one fan. Why wouldn’t I tell everyone!!!!”

Kim also confronted Ye for his ongoing threats against her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson. “U are creating a scary and dangerous environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault,” she told him.

In response, Ye told his followers not to “do anything physical to Skete” because he’s “going to handle the situation myself.”

During his Instagram tirade, Ye also said that Kid Cudi won’t be on DONDA 2 because of his friendship with Davidson, prompting Cudi to call him a “dinosaur.”

In between his social media antics, Ye announced that he will bring his “DONDA Experience” to Miami’s LoanDepot Park on Feb. 22, the same day he is expected to drop DONDA 2.
