TOBi Drops Off Quick EP “Shall I Continue?”

Toronto artist TOBi has been making a splash across the world over the past year. The release of his debut project, Elements Vol. 1 put a massive spotlight on his talent, and he’s been keeping it moving ever since. Unfortunately, the project dropped in the middle of the pandemic, making it increasingly difficult for him Elements on the road.

He’s continued to bless fans with new music over the months. Last week, he came through with a quick three-song EP titled, Shall I Continue? His versatility shines over the course of 10 minutes, as he flexes both his vocal chops and his bars.

TOBi will be hitting performing a few shows in Canada before the end of the year. On Dec. 1st, he’ll be performing in Vancouver, then Montreal on Dec. 3rd. Finally, he’ll be returning to his hometown of Toronto on Dec. 8th.

KiNGMostWanted Tackles The Classics On “F#ck Yo Samples”

Sample clearance is one of the biggest setbacks for any rapper releasing new music. While hip-hop production is based on the very art of sampling, it’s also prevented songs from coming out in their original form, delayed albums from being released, and sometimes, even resulted in lawsuits. And it seems that it’s gotten even more complicated with the evolution of technology.

Southern California rapper KINGMOSTWANTED’s latest project is a middle finger to the politics behind sample clearance. KING dropped his new project, F#ck Yo Samples this past weekend. . The eight-track project hosted by DJ Five Venoms showcases his unique flows and wordplay as he tackles classic records. He flips records like Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby” and Ice Cube’s “Check Yourself” with a modern twist and a West Coast flare.

Check the project below.

Bizarre Shares His New Project “Dumpster Juice” Ft. Giggs, Kidd Kidd & More

Bizarre had a rough start earlier this year after he revealed that he had been dealing with health issues that led to his hospitalization. However, he proved that the hustle never stops, and a little less than a week later, he was spotted in the studio.

LaRussell Delivers On Skeyez-Produced “It’ll All Make Sense When It’s Done”

When Vallejo, CA rapper LaRussell stopped by The Breakfast Club for a nine-minute freestyle back in September, he introduced the world to one of the most prolific catalogues in modern hip-hop.

In the last three months alone, LaRussell has dropped three projects, countless freestyles and “Again” a single with P-Lo and Bay Area legend, E-40.

Following up August’s Marlin 7 and Everbody Cooks, Everybody Eats, released in early October, LaRussell is already back with another project, this time delivering It’ll All Make Sense When It’s Done

Taking to Twitter to reveal that the Skeyez-produced project was made entirely in one day, LaRussell maintains that It’ll All Make Sense In The End is some of his best work yet. Spitting over sample-heavy production spacious enough to leave room for every lyric to cut through, LaRusell makes the most of It’ll All Make Sense When It’s Done‘s eight-song tracklist and takes advantage of every second the project has to offer. With life experiences and positive messages woven into a web of seemingly-endless bars and clever references, It’ll All Make Sense When It’s Done is LaRussell at his best, and paints a perfect picture of what it’s like to be an independent rapper right on the edge of making it big.

1. What’s Left
2. D’evils
3. Premonitions

5. On My Grave

R&B Vocalist Thuy Shares Her Debut EP, “i hope u see this”

Over the weekend, thuy dropped off her debut EP, i hope u see this. The singer says she came up with the name “because it encapsulates all the songs themes in just one phrase.” The 9-track project sees the up and coming singer captivate listeners, using her soothing vocals to draw you in over the melodic beats.

“I hope my ex’s see how much I’ve grown since them and how much the experience allowed me the opportunity to become a better lover for the next person. I hope my current partner sees how much I love and appreciate them. But, more importantly I hope younger thuy sees all that she’s accomplished and continues to keep working towards her dreams.”

The “111” singer also shared that, when putting the EP together, she was far less concerned with figuring out which tracks sound good in what order than she was with trying to tell a cohesive story. “You’ll hear my process of going through a bad relationship, to finding myself again, and then falling in love all over again.”

“My goal is that you’ll hear the project and feel like you’re going through this journey along side me and I hope it helps u with whatever u may be going through,” she captioned an Instagram post from last week.
