Scotty ATL Offers His New Project “Trappin Gold” Ft. Bun B & More

Scotty ATL’s been a fixture in Atlanta’s rap scene for over a decade. He released several projects through his Cool Club imprint as he made noise throughout the blog era up until now with projects like The Jiffy Cornbread Experience and 2019’s $tream$. This week, the rapper returned with his latest project, Trappin Gold. With fourteen records in total, the rapper’s latest project includes appearances from some of the South’s more revered MCs. David Banner helps Scotty on the opening track, “Leave A MESSAGE” while Ace Hood and Slim Diesel assist on “Own Lane.” The project also includes appearances from B.o.B, DJ Luke Nasty, Bankroll Fresh, Bun B, King Shy, and Candler Rd. Choir.

Molly Brazy Releases “Pink Molly” EP With Features From Mozzy & Snap Dogg

Detroit is one of the hottest zones right now in hip-hop with superstars bubbling up in 42 Dugg, Babyface Ray, Tee Grizzley, and so many more. The region is running strong and Molly Brazy is delivering the latest soundtrack to come out of Motor City with her new EP Pink Molly.

Flaunting her pink hair and fully embracing the latest chapter in her career, Molly showcases her versatility with different sides of her lyricism across this project. Pink Molly features guest verses from Snap Dogg and Mozzy, as well as production from Go Grizzly, RJ Lamont, Majestic, and more.

“Pink Molly is like one of those party bags you get at a birthday party,” says Molly Brazy about the new project. “It’s a little piece of everything all-in-one; it has love songs, turn up songs, motivational songs, even freaky songs. This project is very addictive.”

Detroit Rapper Crudchapo Makes His Introduction On “Trapper Of The Year Vol. 1”

The rise of Detroit’s rap scene in recent times has put a much-needed spotlight back on the city’s talent. Detroit is certainly home to some of the most skilled MCs to ever touch a microphone but the young generation coming up is telling their story in their own way. Crudchapo is only beginning to make his name known beyond the D but his recent output indicates that he isn’t limiting himself to his hometown.

This weekend, the rapper made a proper introduction with the release of his debut project, Trapper Of The Year Vol. 1. The 10-song body of work runs for a little under 30 minutes with features coming from Icewear Vezzo, Payroll Giovanni, Pooh Shiesty, Rio Da Yung OG and Allstar Jr.

Ant Clemons Drops Anniversary Edition Of “Happy 2 Be Here”

Ant Clemons is arguably one of the most sought-after songwriters right now. He first burst out on the scene with the release of Kanye West’s ye. It was his contributions to “All Mine” propelled him towards stardom even further. He’s continued to work for ‘Ye and other major artists but he’s establishing himself as an artist in his own right. The release of 2020’s HAPPY 2 BE HERE cemented his vocal talents and penmanship in the music industry.

It’s officially been one years since Ant released that project. This weekend, he commemorated the anniversary by re-releasing the project with an additional single, expanding the tracklist to 9 songs with the addition of “June 1st.”

It’s been two years since Stunna Girl went viral with the release of “Runway” but she’s kept her foot on the neck of the rap game since then. The NorCal rapper has been steadily climbing the ranks with new singles since and now, she’s back with her first full body of work, Stunna This Stunna That. Dripping in attitude and swag, Stunna Girl makes her presence felt off of the rip on “Still Smoke,” the first single from the project that also serves as track #1. It’s a 12-track project filled with bangers from top to bottom.

Trae Tha Truth & Mysonne Drop Collaborative Album “If You’re Scared Stay Inside”

Trae Tha Truth and Mysonne were both at the forefront of the Black Lives Matter protests last year and have remained incredibly vocal on social issues over the course of their careers. This weekend, they’ve taken their sounds and merged it together for a brand new collaborative project titled, If You’re Scared Stay Inside. Led by singles, “You Know How We Comin'” and “I Gotta Win,” their new body of work extends for fourteen songs with a run time of a little under one hour. The project includes a slew of features such as Jim Jones, Black Thought, Jay’ton, TJ Boyce, and more.

DJ Muggs & Rome Streetz Connect For “Death & The Magician”

DJ Muggs and Rome Streetz have collaborated with each other on a few occasions but they’ve cemented their chemistry with a brand new collaborative project titled, Death & The Magician. Laced with 12 tracks in total, Muggs and Streetz handle the majority of their new project on their own but they do enlist Knowledge the Pirate and Rigz for some assistance.

Death & The Magician serve as both Muggs and Rome’s first release of the year. Muggs appears to be aiming to maintain 2020’s momentum with the release of his upcoming project, Dies Occidendum which will be dropping under his alias DJ Muggs The Black Goat.

Page Kennedy Taps Xzibit, Method Man, Elzhi & More On New Album “Page”

Page Kennedy is a man who wears many hats. From acting to comedy to music, Kennedy can do it all and he has certainly been able to capture the attention of fans for many years. Coming from Detroit, Kennedy fully embraces the sounds of his era, and on his new project Page, Kennedy delivers energetic anthems that contain some of hip-hop’s most beloved journeymen.

For instance, the track “Pain” contains features from both Elzhi and Method Man who help add to what is already a powerful track. Chief Wakil and Ali Caldwell both make a couple of appearances on this effort, while Xzibit can be found on the eighth song, “Setup.” Lonny Bereal also gets a spot on the album with the track “Queen.” 

From start to finish, this is a solid effort from Kennedy and if you’ve been waiting on new music from him, definitely give this a spin.

Chester Watson Releases New Project “1997”

South Florida’s Chester Watson is only a few months removed from the release of his formal studio album debut, A Japanese Horror Film. It was arguably one of the most overlooked projects of the year that definitely deserved far more acclaim and recognition. However, the grind doesn’t stop and Watson is back with another project just months later. Earlier today, he unveiled his latest body of work 1997 which comes stacked with nine songs in total and a few guest appearances. Frequent collaborator Kent Loon appears on “Genies (Dreamwalker),” Danny Brown assists on “Grim Reaper Low Tops,” and Psymun and J’Von assist Watson on “Staring Into Space.”

Digga D Drops Off His New Project “Made In The Pyrex”

As the UK drill scene continues to gain international attention, many of the scene’s buzzing acts are turning into international stars. Digga D has maintained an unadulterated level of authenticity throughout his rise, making his music resonate that much more. This week, he finally slid through with his long-awaited project, Made In A Pyrex, an insightful deep dive into the trials and tribulations that made him who he is but it also celebrates the progress of his journey. 

Laced with 12 songs in total, Digga D offers hard-hitting drill anthems across the project with a few appearances from the likes of AJ Tracey, M1llionz, Sav’O and ZK.
