Cam’ron Links Up With Suns Owner Mat Ishbia

Cam’ron has been everywhere as it pertains to the sports world as of late. Overall, this is largely due to his relatively new shoe with Ma$e called It Is What It Is. So far, this show has been getting some incredible ratings on YouTube. Although he and Ma$e might not have all the correct stats in the world, they certainly have some hilarious takes. Watching their show is like talking about sports with your best friends. Consequently, fans find themselves relating to a lot of the takes. It’s been fun to watch the show grow from week to week, and Cam is ready to expand.

Moreover, Cam’ron and Ma$e have attended some basketball games as of late. For instance, they were at Game 4 of the Suns and Nuggets game last week. In the end, the Suns won that game. However, they went on to lose the next two games of the series. This subsequently eliminated them from the playoffs. Furthermore, the team immediately fired head coach Monty Williams, who will likely be going to a team like Toronto or maybe even Milwaukee. That said, Cam is now commenting on the firing.

Cam’ron Delivers #BossTalk

He did this with a post on Instagram of himself standing next to new Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia. “When you the owner, you can’t get fired,” Cam’ron explained. “Sorry Monte but #ItIsWhatItIs #BossTalk.” Needless to say, Cam isn’t feeling too remorseful about what happened to the Suns coach. Quite frankly, it isn’t Williams’ fault this team wasn’t good. They traded all of their depth to get Kevin Durant, and it didn’t pay off in the end. This has happened to plenty of good teams, and Williams will certainly bounce back.

As for Cam’ron, it is going to be fun to see if he goes to any other games throughout the NBA Playoffs. The Western Conference Finals start tonight as the Lakers are set to take on the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets are the favorites in this series, however, the Lakers could very well end up taking this one. Let us know who you think is taking Game 1, in the comments section below. Billionaire Mortgage Lender Mat Ishbia to Purchase Phoenix Suns and Mercury for $4 Billion

The Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury have a new owner. Billionaire mortgage lender Mat Ishbia will purchase a majority stake in both franchises for a record total of $4 billion.

According to ESPN, the new deal will end the tenure of current owner Robert Sarvar.

Ishbia enters NBA/WNBA ownership with relationships with multiple NBA owners and will have to pass a vote by the NBA board of governors to finish the deal.

Mat Ishbia’s brother and a founding partner in Shore Capital, Justin Ishbia, will make a major investment and act as an alternate governor.

“I am extremely excited to be the next Governor of the Phoenix Suns and Mercury,” Mat Ishbia said in a statement. “Both teams have an incredibly dynamic fan base and I have loved experiencing the energy of the Valley over the last few months.”

The record sale of the Suns symbolizes a new era in the growing valuations of NBA clubs. In 2019, Joe Tsai purchased the Brooklyn Nets for an NBA record $2.35 billion. Tilman Fertitta bought the Houston Rockets for $2.2 billion in 2017, while Steve Ballmer bought the Los Angeles Clippers for $2 billion in 2014.
