Jordan Brand Announces Jayson Tatum’s First Signature Sneaker, the Tatum 1

The Tatum 1 is Jayson Tatum’s first signature shoe with Jordan Brand. The Tatum 1 is the season’s lightest shoe in Jordan Brand’s performance line, and it was created for the next generation of athletes.

The Tatum 1 is a product of a his want to wear a shoe connected to his foot and featured a TPU frame, wrapped in ground-contact form acting as an integrated traction pattern. The sneaker has minimal rubber on the toe and the ball of the foot to accent Tatum’s predominantly forefoot game. The forefoot has a sizable, cage-free Zoom Air bag that helps give maximum energy return without compromising court feel. The collar is cushioned for ankle support, and the mesh knit upper is sturdy yet light.

The Tatum 1 stands out for paying special attention to the design for children. Tatum wanted a shoe that young children could easily slip on and off of. Tatum collaborated with the Jordan Brand design team to help shape a kid-friendly version of his iconic sneaker that featured an exclusive, injected TPU tailgate mechanism for simple access.

“I want people to feel like they can connect to me,” says Tatum. “I remember being a kid, walking into the store, and looking for the signature shoes of my favorite players. The moment I saw the shoe or put the shoe on, I felt like I was in sync and closer to them in a way. So, I want this shoe to be a bridge between my fans and me to bring us closer together.”

Air Jordan 6 “Gore-Tex” To Drop In Wild Colorway: First Look

Michael Jordan won his very first NBA title in an Air Jordan 6. Consequently, this shoe became extremely famous. Although, it should be noted that the Jordan 6 is already an amazing silhouette. It has a very cool racecar vibe with the heel tab acting as a spoiler of sorts. Throughout the years, Jordan Brand has done quite a bit with the AJ6. Overall, it has built up a truly impressive and extensive library that is hard to measure up to. Just a couple of years ago, this shoe celebrated its 30th birthday, and it continues to make noise.

Throughout the year of 2023, sneakerheads should expect the Air Jordan 6 to continue its reign of dominance. This is one of those shoes that will never get old, and Jordan Brand is aware of this. That said, we are starting to get an influx of teasers as it pertains to this year’s AJ6 offerings. So far, there have been some interesting models to be shown off. Subsequently, we are now getting wind of a women’s exclusive that will be modeled after the Nike ACG Air Mowabb.

“Gore-Tex” Air Jordan 6

Thanks to @zsneakerheadz and sneakerfiles.com, we now have a photoshop rendering of the Air Jordan 6 “Gore-Tex. As you can see, this does a great job of mimicking the Air Mowabb. The shoe begins with a beige suede upper, while the midsole is a mixture of brown and forest green with specks. Additionally, the sneaker has some purple on the tongue, with an orange lining as well. Overall, this is one of those colorways that is going to make an impression on people, whether good or bad.

For now, not much is known about this shoe’s release date other than the fact that it is slated to drop during the Holiday season. Moreover, this shoe will cost $250 USD due to the Gore-Tex materials. This is going to be a polarizing model, although if you like traversing through the elements, these will be for you. Jordan Tatum 1 Receives New Colorways & Release Dates

Jayson Tatum is just a couple of months away from releasing his first Jordan Tatum 1. Overall, Tatum is starting to become one of the best players in the entire league. Having said that, it only makes sense that he would be getting his own signature shoe. After all, Luka Doncic, who is also signed by Jordan Brand, just got his own signature model this year. Tatum definitely deserves this, and fans have been excited to see what kind of sneakers he comes out with.

Subsequently, Tatum is looking to debut his shoe throughout All-Star weekend. He is going to be a massive part of the festivities today, and now is a better time than ever to show off some new footwear. Moreover, with the fanfare surrounding Tatum at an all-time high, it seems like now is a good time to build up even more hype for this silhouette. Secondly, Tatum pays homage to his hometown with the “St.Louis” offering which can be seen below. This model is mostly white with some blue and red highlights. Thirdly, there is a gorgeous and colorful “Pink Lemonade” sneaker that is covered in pink and blue materials. Lastly, the Jordan Tatum 1 “Barbershop” is black, grey, red, and gold. All of these colorways are dope, and it is clear that Jumpman is starting this shoe out with a bang.

According to reports, the “Zoo” offering is going to drop on April 7th while the “St.Louis” shoe is set for April 18th. Moreover, you can expect “Pink Lemonade” on June 20th, while “Barbershop” does not have a release date. All of these pairs are set to retail for a price of $120 USD. Firstly, the shoe opens up with black leather on the overlays, as well as the side panels. Secondly, a gorgeous palomino flair is placed on the toe box, back heel, and even the Nike swoosh. Overall, this is just a gorgeous color scheme that contains gold accents on the tongue. Moreover, the palomino parts of the shoe will be made with suede, which gives a great premium quality to the shoe.

For now, it is being reported that this shoe is set for a release date of September 16th. One of the greatest sneakers ever is the Air Jordan 4. This is a shoe that was created by Tinker Hatfield all the way back in 1989. Since that time, the shoe has continued to be beloved by sneakerheads. Overall, the silhouette is perfect as it is nice and sleak. Lastly, the Jumpman branding on the tongue and back heel are red which makes for a great overall look.

At the time of writing this, the shoe does not yet have any real stock numbers. Furthermore, it seems pretty obvious at this point that they will not be released to the public.
