Maluma Revealed He’s Going To Be A Father In A Touching On-Stage Moment At His Concert

Maluma performed in Washington DC yesterday (October 19) as part of his Don Juan Tour, and one part of the show was particularly special: The Colombian superstar revealed he’s going to be a father.

On stage, he debuted his new video for “Procura,” which was later released at midnight last night and can be watched above. He watched the clip with his audience and at the end of the visual is footage of him and girlfriend Susana Gomez in the hospital, with the two and their families seeing a sonogram of their unborn child. Maluma was clearly emotional watching the video on stage as his audience loudly cheered behind him.

He teased the big moment ahead of the concert, writing on his Instagram Story (translated via ChatGPT), “Today is one of the most special moments in my life, and I want to share it with you live right here on our Washington show. You’ve been with us from the beginning, and you deserve to know as well.”

Maluma released his latest album, Don Juan, this past August, and it includes collaborations with Marc Anthony, Gordo, Rayvanny, Don Omar, J Balvin, Yandel, Ryan Castro, and Anuel AA. Learn more about the album here.

A Fan Grabbed Maluma Inappropriately During His Latest ‘Don Juan World Tour’ Stop, But The Musician Handled It Gracefully

“La Fórmula” musician Maluma is one of the most lusted-after men in Latin music. He’s on the road for his Don Juan World Tour, and admirers are working overtime to grab his eye. Unfortunately, one woman seemed to allow her desires to overstep his personal boundaries.

During Maluma’s New York City concert at Madison Square Garden on Friday, October 6, as he greeted attendees before taking the stage, one woman attempted to grab at his private area. He immediately physically and verbally shut down the fan’s advances while venue security stepped in.

Once a clip of the incident gained traction across social media, people jumped to Maluma’s defense.

“That’s weird and unruly. He responded in the best way one can possibly behave,” wrote one.

“This is disgusting :(,” chimed another.

“This isn’t cute or funny,” penned one.

“Y’all be forgetting that celebrities are real ppl too sometimes,” barked another.

“He reacted very well… You don’t go about touching people without consent,” remarked yet another.

“People are way too comfortable sexually assaulting celebrities. I would’ve had her kicked out,” sternly put another.

Despite the uncomfortable encounter, Maluma took to his Instagram to thank supporters for the special evening, writing, “MADISON SQUARE GARDEN WAS DRESSED IN TRICOLOR LAST NIGHT 🇨🇴💜🙃… I woke up with a smile that will last me a lifetime! THANK YOU, NEW YORK, THANK YOU, LATINOS, this is just the beginning. #DonJuan.”

Maluma’s New Album ‘Don Juan’: Everything We Know So Far

In January, Maluma let fans know that he would be leaving his Papi Juancho era behind for greener musical pastures. But supporters were quickly relieved once they learned the departure was just a transition into his next studio album, Don Juan.

After dropping a string of singles, including “La Fórmula” with Marc Anthony, as well as linking up for a collaboration with Yandel on his album Resistencia album, the day is nearly here for Maluma’s sixth full-length studio album.

So far, Maluma has not released the entire tracklist for Don Juan. Instead, he shared eight of the songs that will appear on the project, along with the order in which they will appear. It is rumored that Don Juan will include 25 songs in total.
