Dak Prescott Explains What Tom Brady Told Him After Huge Win

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys proved a ton of doubters wrong last night. For years now, the Cowboys have been seen as playoff chokers. Prescott has also been hit with this label as his record coming into last night was 1-3. However, Prescott changed the narrative with five touchdowns. Four were from passing, and one was from running it in himself.

This win now makes it so that the Cowboys will face the San Francisco 49ers next weekend. Of course, this is going to be a matchup for the ages. The Cowboys are very much expected to lose, however, they seem to have hit their stride. At this point, it is anyone’s game.

Dak Prescott Reacts

Following the match, Prescott spoke to reporters about what took place on the field. Overall, he was overjoyed about his team’s effort. Furthermore, he discussed what Tom Brady told him after the game. As you will see, it was a great message.

“He just said that I played well,” Dak Prescott said. “I told him good job, he told me good job. I just shook his hand. [Brady’s] obviously a guy that I have the ultimate respect for. He’s won more than anyone has in this league. He’s been the epitome of how to play this game for years and how to take care of your body. So much respect for him.

“But that’s about (our) defense. The way they went out there and took care of business. This isn’t some Dak versus Tom Brady matchup. That was Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Our defense played their asses off and gave us an opportunity to score more points than they did.”

While Prescott and the Cowboys might find it difficult in the next round, there is no doubt that they have some momentum. If they find a way to take advantage, there is a good chance they go all the way to the Super Bowl.

LeSean McCoy Calls Dak Prescott “Ass” On Live TV: Watch

LeSean McCoy had a solid NFL career, and now, he finds himself giving analysis on TV. Like many former NFL stars, McCoy has gone into broadcasting. If you have seen his work with Speak For Yourself on FS1, then you know that he has gone to the Skip Bayless School of Hot Takes.

Consequently, some of the things that McCoy says are quite questionable. Additionally, he can be downright disrespectful with some of his analyses. Overall, this has led to some viral clips that don’t exactly paint him in the best light.

Dak Prescott Roasted By LeSean McCoy

McCoy experienced this on Tuesday as he came through with his most viral take yet. This was during a segment on Dak Prescott and his recent loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Cowboys gave up a 17-point lead in this loss, and McCoy let Prescott have it.

In fact, McCoy was so disrespectful towards Dak that he ended up shocking some of the other panelists. “Dak is ass,” McCoy said. “Can I say that on TV? ‘Cause he is ass ass.” David Helman, one of the analysts at the table, could not believe what he was hearing. Consequently, fans took to the comments of the below Twitter post to sound off on what McCoy had to say.

Below, you can find some reactions where fans explain why McCoy is objectively wrong here. Overall, he probably doesn’t care about this criticism. He is bringing eyes to his show, and that is all FS1 cares about right now.

This is what sports talk television has become, and you can think Bayless for that. Whether or not you like it, is purely subjective.

Let us know what you thought of McCoy’s remarks, in the comments down below.

Dak Prescott to Miss 6-8 Weeks to Receive Thumb Surgery

If the 19-3 opening night loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wasn’t enough, the Dallas Cowboys have lost their starting quarterback. Dak Prescott will miss 6-8 weeks after injuring his right thumb during the Sunday night tilt.

While passing, Prescott hit his hand on Shaq Barrett’s body twice. He currently has a pin and plate inserted to stabilize the injury.

“I was told it was much cleaner than it could have been,” Prescott said.

According to ESPN, the Cowboys will start Cooper Rush next week against the Cincinnati Bengals.

“It’s very disappointing, but injuries happen, can’t necessarily control it, just unfortunate,” Prescott said. “Obviously going to miss some time, not be there for my team and that’s what hurts more than anything, especially after the start we just put out there. Wanted to be able to respond, and not necessarily having that opportunity for several weeks, yeah it’s unfortunate. But I’ll do what I’ve always done anytime adversity comes, take it on head-first and give my best and I’m sure I’ll come out of this thing better.”
