On the Emmy-winning program ‘Inside the NBA,’ the dynamic quartet of Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson, along with guest Draymond Green, were in their element while covering Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals series between the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves. Amidst their usual basketball discussion, a hilarious moment unfolded. Last week, when the Timberwolves eliminated the Nuggets, Anthony Edwards, in a moment of jest, told Charles Barkley, who claimed he hadn’t been to Minnesota in 20 years, ‘Bring your a**.’ This response instantly went viral. As the number one pick in the WNBA draft, she has massive expectations of her. As a superstar in college, she is looked at as someone who can grow the women’s game and push it forward. Much of the criticism from actual players in the WNBA came weeks ago. While Clark was making her national Championship game run, Diana Taurasi was singled out as being overly negative towards Clark. Criticism isn’t coming from other WNBA players. Rather, they are highlighting the already established stars and other strong rookies outside of Clark instead of making everything about a single player.

LeBron James recently came out in support of Caitlin Clark. He remarked upon the expectations on her shoulders. He gave her advice to try to get in first with the vets. She needs too listen when she needs t, and speak up when asked. Last night, during TNT’s coverage of the Western Conference Finals, Charles Barkley went on a rant about women being petty towards Caitlin Clark, coming to her defense. Many fans have noted that these figures haven’t gone this hard for other WNBA players like MVP Aja Wilson or phenomenal rookie Angel Reese. Even WNBA players have now responded to Chuck and LeBron.

This is a case of believing everything you see on social media. Charles is likely referring to people who are newcomers to the women’s game trying to score points and give their opinions on a subject they are new to. Why would WNBA players hate on finally flying private during the season? It is rumored that NBA executives plan to negotiate $7.4 billion annual broadcast deals with ESPN, NBC, and Amazon. Furthermore, this would be a serious setback for TNT. As talks go into the “final stage,” rumors state that the NBA is formalizing written contracts with each of the three corporations this week. Inside the NBA, fans who watch TNT are sure to be outraged by the news. The show, featuring Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson as commentators, is reportedly set to end.

If these negotiations go through, the upcoming season of the program will be its last. There are currently rumors that Warner Bros. Discovery, the parent company of TNT, may file a lawsuit. The league’s most valuable series of games, which include the NBA Finals, a Conference Final, weekly primetime matchups, and the WNBA, are reportedly worth $2.8 billion to ESPN annually. Barkley predicted on Inside the NBA on Wednesday night that the Oklahoma City Thunder would easily defeat the Dallas Mavericks. Luka Dončić made light of Barkley’s prophecy following the Mavericks’ victory. He asked the Hall of Famer to make the same prediction prior to their upcoming matchup with Oklahoma City. Chuck’s predictions and guarantees almost always backfire on him, which causes a great deal of enjoyment for everyone else.

“Luka getting a firm grasp on what fans have thought for a while, Chuckster. If you root for the other team, then you might be in pretty good shape,” Ernie Johnson said jokingly to Chuck after listening to Dončić’s comment. “Well, at least you don’t have to worry about it much longer,” Barkley said, laughing. Barkley is implying that TNT won’t be able to match NBC’s deal, and Inside the NBA and NBA on TNT won’t be around much longer, unfortunately for hoops fans.

Charles Barkley recently roasted the entire city of Galveston, Texas, when he said the Pelicans should be sent there for punishment. Barkley apologized to Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mother, who is from Galveston, to ward off any beehive shenanigans. The latest roasting comes from Draymond Green, who made a joke on Twitter about Kenny Smith’s hairline or lack thereof. Charles Barkley Apologized To Beyonce’s Mom For His Galveston Jokes (But Still Won’t Go There)

Saturday night’s edition of Inside the NBA featured an all-time Charles Barkley roast, as the Hall of Famer had Shaq keeled over laughing as he torched the New Orleans Pelicans and the city of Galveston, Texas.

Chuck called out the Pelicans for quitting in Game 3 against the Thunder, and said they didn’t deserve a flight to Cancun and should instead drive down to Galveston to see “that dirty ass water.”

It really is some of Barkley’s funniest work in some time, and naturally it went viral and went far beyond just basketball fans. Among those who saw it was Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, who was born in Galveston and got the clip sent to her by Jay-Z, issuing a funny response to Chuck on Instagram.

Barkley, being a wise man, issued an apology to Ms. Tina and asked for forgiveness from the Beyhive.

However, there was only so far he’s willing to go with an apology, and a trip to Galveston is not in the cards. He almost killed Shaq by saying he’d rather take a vacation to “San Antonio with them big ol’ women” than go to Galveston.

The Pelicans have been struggling to overcome the Thunder after losing their star player, Zion Williamson, to injury during their play-in-game loss against the Los Angeles Lakers. On Saturday, they fell 106-85 to OKC, dropping them to 0-3 in the series. Game 4 will be played on Monday night. If the Pelicans can’t grind out a win, their playoff run will end that night.
