LeBron James burst onto the NBA scene wearing the Nike Air Zoom Generation. Although his name is not on the shoe, it is his first signature sneaker with Nike. It was a massive introduction to the sneaker world, and 20 years later, it is a silhouette that still captivates people. Of course, LeBron is in his 20th season in the NBA, which consequently means that this shoe is celebrating its 20th birthday. Subsequently, Nike has been making all sorts of promises this year regarding this shoe and its output.
So far this year, we have seen quite a few renditions of the Nike Air Zoom Generation. Nike is a brand that loves to celebrate birthdays, so this is something that should come as a surprise to absolutely no one. Overall, the colorways have been a nice mix of new schemes as well as some retros. This is great news for fans who may or may not have nostalgia tied to James’ rookie season. The latest Air Zoom Generation to be revealed, however, is this “Cemented In History” colorway, which can be found below.
A New Nike Air Zoom Generation
As you can see, this is a colorway that leans heavily on neutral tones. However, that is definitely not a bad thing. After all, who doesn’t love a sneaker that can match everything? Firstly, the main color here is light grey which is placed on the front portion of the shoe. Secondly, we get darker grey towards the back, as well as the midsole. There is a mix of materials here which gives the shoe a bit of a premium feel to it.
In terms of the release date, these will be dropping on May 10th for a price of $190 USD. For some, this may be seen as a steep price, but the quality here speaks for itself.
