Grand opening, grand closing. Before most of the public could read through Cassie’s explosive 35-page civil lawsuit against her famous ex-partner, Diddy, the case is over. On Friday, November 17, The New York Times revealed that the lawsuit, in which Cassie accused Diddy of rape, ongoing physical abuse, and even blowing up Kid Cudi’s car, had been settled.

Due to how fast the pair reached an agreement, people wonder how much money Diddy settled for with Cassie. Unfortunately, the financial details aren’t known at this time. Due to the claims in the suit, it would be safe to assume that both parties signed a non-disclosure agreement, preventing them from sharing the total number. In the court documents, Cassie initially asked for $30 million in punitive damages as part of the lawsuit.

However, Cassie and Diddy shared a statement when their settlement was announced. “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” said Cassie, according to The New York Times. “I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

Diddy followed that up with his own statement, saying, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs And Cassie Swiftly Settle Explosive Lawsuit Amidst Serious Allegations

Well, that was fast! Cassie and hip-hop mogul Sean Combs, widely known as Diddy, have settled the explosive lawsuit just one day after Cassie filed allegations of rape and numerous instances of physical abuse against Combs. The serious allegations swept social media by storm. With many figures publicly supporting Cassie and many others staying quiet. Diddy’s legal team denied everything, but there were allegations that Diddy offered Cassie 8 figures to stay quiet.

However, the announcement of the settlement came on a Friday evening, with both parties choosing not to disclose any details regarding the terms of the agreement. Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, released a statement expressing her decision to resolve the matter amicably, stating, “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

Cassie And Diddy Decide To Settle Amicably

Similarly, Sean Combs offered a brief statement, saying, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.” The swift resolution of this high-profile case leaves many unanswered questions, as the details of the settlement remain confidential. The outcome spares both parties from a legal battle while leaving the public to contemplate the broader implications of such allegations in the entertainment industry.

Additionally, settling it quickly is the better option for Combs if avoiding the prospect of a trial is the goal. A trial would involve public disclosure of evidence, which can have detrimental effects on his public perception. “Cassie accomplished what she wanted, she got to tell her story and now she’s added a layer of protection,” one user commented on social media. “He can’t do anything to harm her without all of us looking directly at him.” “Cassie & Diddy settled that faster than an episode of SVU. Diddy didn’t want anything else to come out, it must’ve been REAL BAD but Cassie started a catalyst. That trigger warning on that 35 page court document sealed the deal. This is not the last we gone hear about him!!” another person said.

The legal dispute garnered international attention as Cassie leveled accusations against Combs. She alleged a history of physical assault, manipulative conduct, and instances of sexual abuse, including rape. Stay tuned to see how things continue to unfold, if they do. What are your thoughts on Diddy settling this matter urgently?

Grand Closing: Cassie And Diddy Reach Amicable Resolution

Cassie

Singer Cassie and Diddy have swiftly come to an agreement just one day after she filed a high-profile lawsuit, accusing the hip-hop mogul of rape and multiple instances of physical abuse. The parties announced it on Friday evening, stating that they have reached a resolution in the case, without disclosing specific details of the settlement.

Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, expressed her decision to resolve the matter amicably, emphasizing her desire for some degree of control in the situation. She conveyed her gratitude to her family, fans, and legal team for their unwavering support. In response, Mr. Combs stated, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”

Cassie’s Settlement

The settlement effectively puts an end to what could have been a risky and potentially embarrassing legal discovery process for Mr. Combs. This process could have involved the public release of substantial evidence and even a trial. Additionally, Cassie, who had already made her accusations public through a formal complaint, avoided the prospect of cross-examination by Mr. Combs’s legal team.

Cassie’s Lawsuit

In her lawsuit, which garnered major attention, Cassie, who had signed with Mr. Combs’s Bad Boy label in 2005 at the age of 19 and dated him for about a decade, made serious allegations against Mr. Combs. She claimed that she endured years of physical abuse, controlling behavior, and various forms of sexual abuse, including rape. In response, Mr. Combs’s attorney, Ben Brafman, vehemently denied these allegations, describing them as offensive and outrageous.

According to Cassie’s lawsuit, filed on Thursday in Federal District Court in Manhattan, Mr. Combs assaulted her on numerous occasions, resulting in injuries and bruises. She also alleged that his employees sometimes secluded her in hotel rooms for days to recover away from the public eye. One of the most disturbing claims in the lawsuit was that Cassie was forced to participate in sexual encounters with male prostitutes over the years while Mr. Combs watched, masturbated, and recorded videos. These events, referred to as “freak offs,” allegedly took place in upscale hotels across the United States.

Diddy’s Reputation & Legacy

In the past year, Mr. Combs received a Lifetime Achievement award at the BET Awards and was honored with the Global Icon Award at MTV’s Video Music Awards in September. Nevertheless, despite the settlement, the damage to Mr. Combs’s reputation and legacy may be substantial. In the days since Cassie’s lawsuit was filed, prior allegations of violence and abuse against Mr. Combs have resurfaced, and several musicians have publicly expressed their support for Cassie.

Nearly one day after Cassie filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs for allegations of sexual assault and physical abuse, it has now been reported by The New York Times that both parties have reached a settlement.

She had originally filed it on Thursday in Manhattan’s Federal Court. Right now, the terms of the settlement are currently undisclosed. Both have, however, discussed the matter through written statements.

“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Cassie shared, according to the publication. “I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

“We have decided to resolve this matter amicably,” Diddy added. “I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”

While the parties will no longer go to trial for the lawsuit, Cassie’s accusations against the mogul have been revealed already through a public complaint. She had been signed to his record label at the age of 19, going on to date him for nearly a decade.

Among the allegations, Cassie had claimed that Diddy had blown up Kid Cudi’s car after he found out she started seeing him romantically. Cudi also confirmed this allegation in the initial report.

While Diddy had denied the claims, many other affiliates from his past, including Aubrey O’Day and other Danity Kane members like Dawn Richard, came to Cassie’s defense.

In a recent court filing against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Cassie Ventura, known as Cassie, has come forward with shocking revelations of the abuse she endured during her decade-long relationship with the music mogul. As the world grapples with the 5-year anniversary of the tragic death of Kim Porter, a psychic has also shared haunting messages from Porter’s spiritual energy, foreshadowing the unraveling of Diddy’s dark secrets. Additionally, more fellow celebrities have also come forward.

‘Dancing With The Devil’

On Friday, November 17, Mark Curry, a former artist with Bad Boy and the first rapper signed to the label, voiced his concerns about Diddy in light of the recent revelations.

He used his Instagram story to repost a photo that stated:

“I been telling ppl for 20 years that man was foul. Watch how it all unravels after this tho.. #TheFall.” Additionally, Curry is actively promoting his new book titled “How Puff Burned the Bad Boys of Hip Hop: Dancing with the Devil.”

Former Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day, who herself has spoken out about Diddy’s history of abuse, took to social media to express solidarity with Cassie. Offering prayers and support, O’Day emphasized:

“Been trynna tell ya’ll for years. Prayers up for this Queen @cassie.” O’Day continued, “One day ya’ll are gonna put some respect on my name when I tell you things. Thank you!”

More Bad Boy Members Speak Out

O’Day presented phone call screenshots, including conversations with D. Woods, Brooklyn Babs, and Willie Taylor, all former artists associated with Bad Boy. Brooklyn Babs was part of the group Da Bands, Willie Taylor was a member of the band Day26, and D. Woods was a former member of Danity Kane.

Following O’Day’s revelations, D. Woods, another former member of Danity Kane, took to her Twitter account after a year to express her support for Cassie as well. She stated:

“I haven’t posted anything on this platform for a very long time, but today… there is a very good reason to.” She tweeted again, saying, “Self Worth, Peace of Mind, and the Right to Speak your TRUTH… Cassie, You are incredibly brave to shine light on what you endured in the dark. I’m sorry you had to go through it alone. I’m praying for your continued strength, and I offer my full support to you.”

A Proven Prediction

On Nov. 16, a psychic named Sloan Bella revealed messages from Kim Porter’s spiritual energy. Kim Porter, who passed away at the age of 47, was a model and ex-partner of Diddy and is also the mother of his children.

Sloan Bella’s psychic message revealed that things would start to unravel with Diddy in November of 2023. The YouTube video was released five months ago, on June 3, 2023.

Kimora Lee Simmons, model, mogul, and friend of the late Kim Porter, shared a cryptic message on her Instagram story following the revelations. Quoting the adage “as you sow, so shall you reap,” Simmons seemed to imply that the truth would eventually catch up with Diddy, mirroring the message from Porter’s spiritual energy revealed by the psychic.

Outpouring Support For Cassie

Cassie’s claims have received support from fellow artists who have experienced the toxic environment fostered by Diddy.

O’Day shared screenshots of phone calls with D. Woods, Brooklyn Babs, and Willie Taylor, all former Bad Boy artists, corroborating the allegations of abuse within the music industry. D. Woods herself, breaking her Twitter silence, expressed her admiration for Cassie’s bravery and offered her full support. She wrote:

“I haven’t posted anything on this platform for a very long time, but today… there is a very good reason to.” She tweeted again saying, “Self Worth, Peace of Mind and the Right to Speak your TRUTH… Cassie, You are incredibly brave to shine light on what you endured in the dark. Im sorry you had to go through it alone. Im praying for your continued strength and I offer my full support to you.”

‘Damn Brother Love’

Rapper 50 Cent, known for his outspoken nature, didn’t hold back in his criticism of Diddy. In an Instagram post, 50 posted a selfie of himself stating:

“Damn brother love, brother love, brother love, you out here looking CRAZY AS A MF. LMAO.”

Shortly after, a video of the TV mogul recently resurfaced, where he also spoke on his experience with Diddy. The New York rapper stated that the Bad Boy Records CEO was asking him when there would be a chance that the two could hang out. 50 Cent stated:

“He [Diddy] telling me we have to kick it and sh*t, and he was like yo’ why don’t we go shopping or something or some sh*t, I’ll pay for it. I was like the f*ck this n*gga just say.”

More Allegations

Additionally, Azealia Banks took to her Instagram story, alleging that Diddy had physically assaulted Cassie, even sending her on a “vacation” to Hawaii to hide the evidence. She wrote:

“THIS IS TRUE, One time Diddy beat her up so bad he sent her on a 3week “vacation” to Hawaii just so no one would see or question how her face got like that. Another violent hiphop homosexua. THIS IS WHAT MENTAL ILLNESS LOOKS LIKE FOR ALL OF YOU ARMCHAIR PSYCOLOGISTS.”

Even Yung Joc, a rapper associated with Diddy, shared a story about Diddy’s control and influence over Cassie. In an interview with VLAD TV from 2022, Joc recalled a night out with the two ex-lovers when the music mogul asked Cassie to shave the side of her head.

Joc stated Diddy once told Cassie:

“Yo, Cassie, tomorrow I want you to shave the side of your head.”Joc said, “And I was like, what the f*ck kind of request is that? When I looked up there, white woman with a side of her head was shaved and the b*tch looked good with it. So I was looking at Cassie and I was like you not about to do that are you? She said, well I mean whatever Sean wants, I’m gonna do. I was like you make sure you send me a picture before you do that sh*t. So, in like 2 or 3 days, she sent me a picture.”

The Truth Is Out

Jaguar Wright, a vocal critic of the music industry, emerged as a supporter of singer Cassie. Wright shared an urgent message with YouTuber Storm Monroe, where she stated:

“I mean what opinion do I need to have, I was f*cking right. I was as right as my motherf*ckin’ name. I said it when I was sitting there with them ungrateful f*cks over there on that blue couch. I warned Yung Miami, I said you’d better run as fast as Cassie did. Now, look at it. “ Wright even stated that she will advocate for Cassie. Wright stated, “I will advocate for you, because see I know something that a lot of you don’t know. You and Kim Porter had a sit-down before she left us, and I know Kim had some very good advice to give you. I believe this is why things are happening as they’re happening now.”

As Diddy’s real character continues to unfold, a video featuring his ex-girlfriend and mother of his baby girl, Love Combs Gina Huynh has resurfaced, where she had an interview with gossip blogger Tasha K. In the interview from four years ago, Huynh alleged that Diddy was caught texting another man, leading to a heated altercation.

She recounted:

“He pushed me, and I fell to the ground. He stood over me, and I was lying on my back. He started punching me on the side of my head.” Huynh further detailed that he avoided her face but repeatedly struck her on the side of her head, and subsequently stomped on her stomach.

The NYPD Said It’s Not Investigating Diddy For Sexual Assault And Explained The Mistake

A spokesperson for the New York Police Department has contradicted a report this week that Sean “Diddy” Combs is being investigated for sexual assault after he was sued by his former girlfriend Cassie for rape and abuse.

Apparently, a member of the department told TMZ that there is an open, restricted-access case under the name Sean Combs, which many took to mean that Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, was under criminal investigation. The timing of the account led to the natural assumption it had to do with Cassie’s lawsuit, which was filed on Thursday (November 16) in a Manhattan federal court.

However, TMZ now reports that NYPD denies such an investigation. A statement reads:

Yesterday, a member of the NYPD’s public information office erroneously told a reporter about the apparent existence of an active case file containing the name ‘Sean Combs.’ There is no such investigation, at present. Further, the release of such information is not consistent with the internal policies of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information. The NYPD always treats allegations of sexual assault and rape extremely seriously, and urges anyone who has been a victim to file a police report so that support and services can be offered to survivors and a comprehensive investigation can be conducted.

TMZ said it also contacted law enforcement in Los Angeles and Miami but reported that “no police report has been filed as it pertains to Cassie or Diddy, and no investigation has been launched.”

Cassie’s lawsuit alleged that Diddy not only raped her in 2018, but also beat her repeatedly throughout their 10-year relationship and even threatened to blow up Kid Cudi’s car after he found out the two were romantically linked. Cudi later confirmed his car really did blow up in his driveway.

Surving Diddy: Why Cassie Took So Long To Speak Up

Cassie

Cassie, known for her hit songs like “Me & U” and decade-long relationship with Diddy, has finally spoken out about the physical and sexual abuse she endured during their time together. As news of her lawsuit against the music mogul unfolds, the industry and social media are buzzing with support for the R&B singer, raising questions about why she waited to share her truth.

The Shocking Lawsuit

Cassie, real name Cassandra Ventura, recently filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, detailing allegations of physical and sexual abuse throughout their 11-year relationship.

According to court documents, Ventura endured instances where Combs coerced her into engaging in sexual acts with male sex workers, often subjected to physical abuse, including being “punched, beat, kicked, and stomped on.”

Notably, Cassie first encountered Diddy in late 2005 at 19, while the mogul was 37. Their romantic relationship began in 2007 when the R&B singer was 21 years old.

Fans Pour In With Questions

The news quickly spread, sparking conversations among celebrities and social media users alike. Many are expressing support for Cassie, while others question why she “waited” to speak up.

Tweeting under the handle @_Trenasiaa, one user asked, “Why Cassie took so long to speak up?” Following this user’s question, many responded in defense of the R&B singer. One user named @jonac13 wrote, “Let’s hope you never have anything to speak up about so you don’t have to experience people like yourself.”

User @makeup_serena wrote, “Why do ya’ll like to be willingful ignorant? Victims of abuse have told their stories as to why they wait to talk or even leave.”

The Cycle Of Domestic Violence

The cycle of domestic violence runs deep, and survivors often face fear, judgment, and blame when considering speaking out.

According to DomesticShelters, factors such as fear for personal safety, concerns about not being believed, and being trapped in a cycle of abuse can contribute to delayed disclosure. In Cassie’s case, the fact that Diddy is a highly influential figure in the industry adds another layer of complexity.

The public’s expectations and society’s tendency to scrutinize survivors’ actions can further hinder victims from speaking up, and additionally, it is crucial to recognize that survivors prioritize their safety before deciding to share their truth.

The Adult Survivors Act

Cassie’s case is particularly significant as it falls under the Adult Survivors Act, a law enacted on November 24, 2022, that extends the statute of limitations for civil claims related to certain sexual offenses against individuals aged 18 or older.

This law allows survivors like Cassie to confront their abusers and hold them accountable for their actions.

The one-year window provided by the Act is set to close next week on November 24, 2023, prompting Cassie to take legal action and bring her allegations to light. In her filing, it acknowledges:

“Thanks to the passage of New York’s Adult Survivors’ Act and California’s Sexual Abuse Accountability and Cover-Up Act, she is now ready and able to also confront her abuser, and to hold him and those who enabled his abuse accountable for their actions.”

It is crucial to remember that survivors of domestic violence deserve support and care. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 at 800-799-7233, providing free and confidential assistance.

Keke Palmer’s Mother Threatens To Put ‘A Bullet’ In Ex-Boyfriend’s Head

As more secrets come to light in the entertainment industry, comedian and actress Keke Palmer‘s experience with domestic abuse has also surfaced. Palmer endured two years of domestic abuse from her baby’s father, Darius Jackson, highlighting the pervasive nature of this issue.

Diddy’s Former Artist Aubrey O’Day Showed Support For Cassie: ‘Been Trynna Tell Y’all For Years’

After it was reported earlier this week that “Me & U” singer Cassie had filed a lawsuit against producer and label owner Sean “Diddy” Combs alleging abuse and sexual assault, one of Diddy’s former Bad Boy artists has spoken up in support of her.

Aubrey O’Day, formerly of the girl group Danity Kane, posted on her Instagram Story, “Been trynna tell y’all for years. Prayers up for this queen.”

O’Day has gone on record several times about Diddy’s handling of the group and its formation on the show Making The Band, telling Vulture in 2019, “Puff is a very difficult person to work with. Everything had to be perfect. I remember times where he looked at my toenails and was like, ‘What is your third toenail doing? Go get that sh*t fixed before you walk into a room.’ Or we would be in rehearsals performing an hour-and-a-half set over and over and he would walk in for five minutes with a camera and say, ‘Aubrey, why are you sweating? You look like a wet dog. You’re the hot one, so do you think anyone wants to see that?’ … I experienced everything from race [remarks] to sexism and a lot of it was scary.”

Although O’Day expressed hope that the music mogul had grown from his time as her mentor, she also noted that the problems with sexism in the music industry go way beyond Diddy. More recently, she also said that Diddy’s recently relinquishing former artists’ publishing came with strings attached — namely, that those artists would have to sign NDAs promising to “never disparage Puff, Bad Boy, Janice Combs, Justin Combs Music, EMI, or Sony ever in public.”

Meanwhile, Diddy is currently under investigation by the NYPD, although it’s unclear whether it’s connected to the lawsuit.
