Lil Uzi Vert Was Supposedly Denied A Complete Big Time Rush Collaboration On ‘Eternal Atake 2’ Due To Conflicting ‘Values’

Lil Uzi Vert has gone to get length to secure guest verse from huge acts like Nicki Minaj. But not everyone sees the “Chill Bae” rapper’s unique charm.

With Lil Uzi Vert’s latest project, Eternal Atake 2, on streaming platforms listeners noticed something off about its guest appearances. On Lil Uzi Vert’s track “The Rush,” singer Carlos PenaVega isn’t present despite being labeled as a Big Time Rush feature.

On November 1, Carlos PenaVega’s wife and fellow entertainer, Alexa PenaVega explained his notable absence in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “Today a song was released that featured the BTR boys minus Carlos because it did not align with his values,” she wrote. “While thankful for the opportunity Carlos kindly passed. Unfortunately it was not credited properly and is currently being represented as a BTR feature. Not a Kendall, Logan and James feature.”

Just what “values” Alexa is referring is unclear. But that hasn’t stopped her vague statement from causing an uproar online. Many are in support of Carlos’ alleged reasoning. While others slammed the singer for what and who he’s seemingly supported in the past.

As a wife who has watched Carlos navigate his values alone in an industry not set up for “family” I have been at times both incredibly proud and totally heartbroken for him. This is not putting anyone down. We just respectfully would like to make the people who follow us aware of the mishap and address that this was something he was not a part of.

What Is The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Philadelphia Lineup?

Tonight (December 12), iHeartRadio is bringing its Jingle Ball Tour to Philadelphia, with a complete lineup of performers to carry the holiday cheer. The event, which is being held at Wells Fargo Center, also selected the acts to span genres, giving a wide-ranging selection for those in the audience.

Here’s what to expect.

What Is The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Philadelphia Lineup?

Tonight’s lineup for the Philly stop of the Jingle Ball Tour will feature Usher, who was previously continuing his Vegas residency. OneRepublic and Jelly Roll are set to play, too. Some other acts on the bill include Big Time Rush (who got their start as a band through a Nickelodeon show), rising rapper Doechii, K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE, and David Kushner.

The show will start at 7:30 p.m. ET, according to iHeartRadio’s website. Tickets for tonight’s event are also still available for those considering attending last-minute, starting at $46, with more information available through Ticketmaster.

The iHeart Radio Jingle Ball is known for good lineups, after having artists like Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, and BTS in the past. The touring festival makes stops through cities in Florida, Michigan, California, Texas, Georgia, and more states, but the most major event is the one in New York City, which is taking place on December 8 this year.

The lineup for the New York City event is nothing short of exciting. On the roster is Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, OneRepublic, Sabrina Carpenter, Jelly Roll, Big Time Rush, Doechii, Pentatonix, David Kushner, and Melanie Martinez.

Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter on the same lineup is sure to cause a stir in the fan base. Upon the 2021 release of Rodrigo’s famous hit “Drivers License,” rumors spread that the “blonde girl” mentioned in the song was actually Carpenter, who shared the same ex as her: Joshua Bassett. However, Rodrigo debunked the gossip: “I don’t really subscribe to hating other women because of boys. I think that’s so stupid, and I really resent that narrative that was being tossed around,” she said when asked about it.
