Israeli PM Calls Trump’s Dinner With Kanye West A “Big Mistake”: Report

No one’s forgotten about Kanye West’s anti-semitic tirade throughout the end of 2022, especially the prime minister of Israel. Just after Ye offered an olive branch to the Jewish community with a post about Jonah Hill, Benjamin Netanyahu recently sat down with Piers Morgan for an exclusive interview where he shed light on his true feelings about Trump’s dinner with Ye. He described the meeting as “horrible,” as Trump hosted Kanye West and prominent ring-wing figure Nick Fuentes at Mar-A-Lago.

“I thought it was horrible. I think it’s a big mistake,” Netanyahu said of Trump’s dinner with Kanye West and Fuentes. “It’s wrong from every point of view. It [anti-semitism] should not be countenanced, it should not be accepted, it should be rebuked and condemned and that’s what I do. And I don’t care where it comes from, or from whom.” Despite his praise for Trump in the past, Netanyahu is among the millions of people outraged at his decision to invite Kanye West to dinner as he spewed hatred toward the Jewish community.

Kanye West & Trump’s Friendship Leaves Israeli PM Upset

Kanye West and Trump began forming a tight bond just as the former president entered office. Following the tumultuous Life Of Pablo tour that ended abruptly. Ye and Trump met in New York for a meeting. However, it was a few years later that Kanye West went full-blown MAGA. His infamous appearance at the White House remains a contentious part of Ye’s legacy. That moment marked the beginning of a downward spiral that included his anti-Jewish remarks on podcasts and social media.

Netanyahu didn’t comment on Kanye West’s potential bid for president in the 2024 elections. However, Trump certainly isn’t down to run against him. During the same press run that found Ye identifying as a Holocaust denier, he revealed that part of his trip to Mar A Lago was to ask Trump to be his VP. Kanye said Trump yelled at him but the former president but Trump said he advised Ye, “Don’t run for office, a total waste of time, can’t win,” before taking a shot at media, writing, “Fake News went CRAZY!”
