Air Jordan 5 “Burgundy” Officially Revealed

If you are a fan of the Air Jordan 5, then the last couple of years have been a whole lot of fun. We say this due to the fact there have been a lot of new releases for this shoe. Overall, this is mostly because the sneaker celebrated a 30th birthday in 2020. Consequently, Jumpman wanted to come out with as many retros as humanly possible. Additionally, they made sure to drop a lot of dope new colorways as well. In the end, it was a great stretch for the sneaker, and it seems like the hype is continuing.

Although Jumpman isn’t treating the Air Jordan 5 like it is 2020 again, we are still seeing some solid teasers hit the market. Over these past couple of months, one shoe that people have been talking about is the Air Jordan 5 “Burgundy.” This is a sneaker that first came out back in 2006. In the images above and below, you can clearly tell that this sneaker does a good job of living up to the OG. There are a lot of fans who were counting on Jumpman to deliver, and that is exactly what they did here. Firstly, the sneaker comes prepared in burgundy suede all throughout the upper. Secondly, more burgundy is found on the midsole, where a grey cement shark tooth is found. Additionally, we get a silver 3M tongue with the iconic burgundy Jumpman logo right in the middle. When you put it all together, you get a truly fantastic offering.

Overall, this shoe is set to be released on September 9th for a price of $225 USD. Hopefully, these live up to the lofty expectations placed upon them by the fans. A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 “Black” Coming Soon: First Look

If you are a sneakerhead, then you probably at least have some knowledge of the Air Jordan 5. Overall, this is a fantastic sneaker that came out all the way back in 1990. To this day, the sneaker is beloved by many. However, it interestingly doesn’t get the same shine as some of its predecessors. It may not be fair, but what is fair in life these days anyway? Philosophy aside, the Jordan 5 continues to be a fantastic sneaker that fans continue to enjoy. Consequently, Jumpman is always doing new things to it in hopes that fans will notice.

For instance, the Air Jordan 5 will soon be getting an A Ma Maniére collaboration. Of course, A Ma Maniére has done a whole lot of work with Jordan Brand over the years. Numerous models have gotten the A Ma Maniére treatment, and with the Jordan 5 being privy to this, we’re sure fans will be very excited. In fact, thanks to @znseakerheadz on Instagram, we have a first look at this new offering.

There will actually be two colorways of the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 collaboration. There will be a white model and a black model. In the Instagram post above, we have a look at the latter. Firstly, this shoe is covered in some black suede. Secondly, the silver tongue has the A Ma Maniére logo on it. From there, we get some gum-colored highlights on the side and even the midsole. Lastly, the shark teeth are a nice shade of burgundy, which matches the A Ma Maniére aesthetic. If you are a fan of the sneaker boutique, you will adore these.

At the time of writing this article, the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 does not yet have a release date. However, it is expected to drop at some point during the Holiday season of this year. Air Jordan 5 “Georgetown” Rumored Release Date Revealed

If you are a big fan of 90s Air Jordans, then the Air Jordan 5 is probably right up your alley. Overall, this is the shoe that kicked off the decade for Jordan Brand. There are some incredible silhouettes from the 90s, however, it is hard to beat the Jordan 5. It is a shoe that is brimming with that Michael Jordan flare, and fans have very fond memories of it. From the shark teeth on the midsole to the 3M on the tongue, this is an incredible sneaker.

When you consider all of the fanfare around this silhouette, it is easy to see why people would continue to wear these, all of these years later. Additionally, it makes sense that Jordan Brand would want to continue delivering new colorways. The fans keep buying them, so there is no reason to stop producing them. In fact, over the past few months, we have seen plenty of Air Jordan 5 teasers. In the photoshop rendering above, you can see what this color scheme is supposed to look like. Of course, it has that signature Georgetown look that fans are accustomed to by now. Firstly, the upper is covered in a nice shade of navy blue. Typically, the Georgetown models are covered in grey with navy hits, but this shoe takes a familiar yet unique approach. Secondly, the midsole is black with grey shark teeth in the middle. Lastly, we get a nice silver 3M tongue with a Navy Jumpman logo right in the middle. When you combine all of these elements together, you get a pretty amazing sneaker.

As for the release date of this shoe, there is a rumored date of November 10th. However, there is no confirmation that this date is legitimate as Jumpman has yet to say anything. Air Jordan 5 Hit With Ultra-Rare “Bel-Air” Colorway

If you were a fan of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, then you certainly saw a lot of the Air Jordan 5. Overall, the Jordan 5 became a huge pop culture icon thanks to the show. Moreover, it helps that the series came out the same year as the shoe. Sales of the shoe were helped out by Will Smith’s love of the Jordan 5, and Jumpman has always been grateful. In fact, over the years, we have seen various “Bel-Air” colorways. Furthermore, we have even gotten “laceless” AJ5’s which are yet another nod to Smith’s character.

Now, the series has been given new life thanks to a more dramatic interpretation of the story. The Peacock series Bel-Air is a retelling of Will’s story, but with less comedy. Just a couple of weeks ago, their second season had its premiere, and fans are enjoying what they are seeing. Additionally, it seems like Jumpman is still keeping its eye on the series. That is because they have created a new “Bel-Air” Air Jordan 5.

In the images above and below, you can see that this shoe has the iconic “Black Metallic” color scheme. This is one of the OG colorways of the Jordan 5, and fans have always loved it. Firstly, the shoe is covered in black suede. Secondly, the midsole is black with some silver shark teeth. Lastly, we get the silver 3M tongue with a red Jumpman logo in the middle. Interestingly enough, these shoes stick to the “Bel-Air” theme thanks to the laceless aesthetic.

It is important to note that this shoe is not going to be released to the public. In fact, only three pairs of this shoe have been created. However, one lucky person will be able to get one of the three pairs. NTWRK will be raffling a pair in a size 12, and all you have to do is pay $1 to enter. A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 Collab Rumored For This Year: Details

A Ma Maniére is a brand that has been doing big things as of late. Based in Atlanta, the sneaker boutique has been able to collaborate with the biggest brands in the entire world. Overall, the vast majority of their collaborations have come with the likes of Jordan Brand. They are consistently coming through with some fantastic colorways of the best silhouettes in the Jumpman library. Although they have collaborated on about five silhouettes at this point, the offerings are not getting old.

So far, A Ma Maniére and Jumpman have worked together on the Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 2, the Air Jordan 3, the Air Jordan 4, and most recently, the Air Jordan 12. Subsequently, fans are now wondering if they will ever work on another silhouette together. It is an important question to ask, especially with just how popular these collaborations are. In the eyes of sneakerheads, these new offerings are extremely unique, and they are worth continuing. Consequently, it seems like A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand have more plans in the works.

According to @zsneakerheadz, the two are working on an Air Jordan 5 collaboration. Just like the Air Jordan 12 offering, there will be two colorways. Firstly, there will be a model that is covered in black suede. Additionally, the midsole will be burgundy with pale ivory hits throughout, including on the tongue. Secondly, the other colorway will be covered in grey suede. The tongue and the midsole will reportedly look identical to the black offering. Needless to say, we have the same concept here as we did on the Air Jordan 12 collab.

At the time of writing this, a release date has yet to be revealed. However, once again, it seems like this shoe is being pegged for the Holiday season. Air Jordan 5 “Aqua” Release Date Delayed

Over the last three years, fans have seen a lot from the Air Jordan 5. Back in 2020, this sneaker celebrated its 30th anniversary, which led to a whole lot of new offerings. Of course, the color scheme in question is the “Aqua” model which you see before you. This is a model that truly defined the 80s, and it is lovely to see this on a shoe like the Jordan 5. As you can see below, Jordan Brand pulled the look off well.

Air Jordan 5 “Craft” Coming Soon: Best Look Yet

Fans of the Air Jordan 5 have effectively been spoiled over the last few years. Back in 2020, this shoe ended up celebrating its 30th anniversary. Consequently, this led to all sorts of retros and new offerings. Overall, fans were happy to have the shoe experiencing such a high level of success.

Since that time, the Jordan 5 has continued to get some amazing offerings. Jumpman seems to understand just how big the nostalgia is for this model, and it has led to some awesome models. For instance, fans can expect a “Craft” colorway in 2023.

In the Instagram post above from @long7ze, you can see that in-hand images of the shoe have officially surfaced online. Of course, this is great news for sneakerheads who want to make an informed decision on these before they release. That said, this is one of those colorways that is truly hard to hate, regardless of what your tastes may be.

Just like the Jordan 4 of the same name, there are various materials at play here. Firstly, it is important to note that the shoe begins with a nice overall grey upper. The toe box through to the tongue is made with leather. Moreover, there is some rough suede on the back heel and overlays. Lastly, there are some extra red details on the tongue which helps add a much-needed pop of color.

This is one of those inoffensive colorways that you truly cannot go wrong with. Many fans will be gravitating towards these, and overall, it is cool to see Jumpman playing with this new “Craft” aesthetic.
