At the time, MJ wanted to leave the brand, however, Tinker Hatfield came through with a design that he could not refuse. When Jordan came back to basketball in the early 2000s, he played for the Washington Wizards. This was at a time when their primary colors were blue and gold. Of course, this led to some very interesting sneakers. Additionally, Jordan was known to wear some of his old models during this time. The Air Jordan 3 was part of this, and the Wizards PE that Jordan wore became infamous. After years of yearning, sneakerheads are now going to have a chance to cop this shoe. Lastly, the tongue has a gold Jumpman logo in the middle, for good measure. When you put all of these elements together, you get a shoe that is certainly going to please a whole lot of people.

One of Michael Jordan’s best shoes would have to be the Air Jordan 3. Overall, this is a shoe that burst onto the scene in 1988. It was designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, who subsequently went on to design over a dozen Air Jordan silhouettes. At this point, the history behind the Jordan 3 is well known. However, new colorways are always being revealed to the public. Additionally, there are always new Player Exclusives being created. Needless to say, this is a shoe that will simply never die, no matter what.

Russell Westbrook is a player who has always shown appreciation to the Air Jordan 3. Prior to receiving his own signature shoe, Westbrook used to wear this model. He had quite a few PEs back in the fay. Moreover, a lot of these were made to reflect the team he was playing for at the time. As for the colorway itself, it has everything you would expect from a Thunder scheme. Firstly, the shoe is covered in white leather. Secondly, there is blue and orange all the way throughout. Overall, you can never go wrong with the Air Jordan 3. For those who may not know, this is the shoe that ultimately helped keep Michael Jordan with Nike. At the time, MJ wanted to leave Nike. However, Tinker Hatfield swooped in and designed an incredible shoe. Jordan was so impressed that he decided to stay with Nike. There are multiple reasons why this shoe is so unique. For instance, this is the first Jordan to have a visible Air Max unit in the midsole.
