If you are a big fan of the Air Jordan 13, then you have been blessed with some very unique colorways over the years. Overall, this is just a very cool shoe. There is a lot that can be done with it, and Jumpman certainly agrees. In fact, it has been a popular silhouette ever since Michael Jordan wore it in 1998.

Throughout the last few weeks, we have seen teasers for various Jordan 13 models. It is becoming clear that this year will be a great one for the shoe. Consequently, the teasers continue to drop, especially for the “Black Flint” model, seen below.

Air Jordan 13 “Black Flint”

These new images of the “Black Flint” Jordan 13 come to us from @zsneakerheadz and @brandon1an on Instagram. As you can see, this shoe is basically the original “Flint” model, but with a twist that is made painfully obvious by the name.

Firstly, this shoe gets a white toe box, with more white on the tongue and midsole. Secondly, the side panels are all black, as opposed to blue. Lastly, the mudguard and back heel are all gray. This all comes together to form a perfect colorway that fans will definitely enjoy.

If you are someone who tends to prefer neutral colors, then this shoe is definitely going to be for you. However, if you don’t like this look, then you can expect these to come in a variety of other color schemes throughout the year.

Release Details

It is being reported that you will be able to cop this sneaker as of April 22nd. Air Jordan 13 “Playoffs” Coming Soon: Best Look Yet

If you watched Michael Jordan in the late 90s, you probably got to see him in the Air Jordan 13. This was one of the best silhouettes of that time period, and overall, fans haven’t forgotten it. It helps that every year, the shoe gets a few new colorways.

When it comes to the Jordan 13, there has been a healthy dose of new offerings and retros. The retros are beloved by the oldheads, while newer sneakerheads love something new. Although, it is clear that this silhouette has resonated with multiple generations.

Air Jordan 13 “Playoffs”

The next Air Jordan 13 to get a retro is the “Playoffs” model. Of course, this is a very iconic version of the Jordan 13. In fact, fans have been hoping for these to return for a while now. However, Jumpman was simply waiting for the right moment to drop these. Twenty-five years later, it seems like the appropriate time.

Thanks to @zsneakerheadz and @brandon1an, we now have some clear images of the 2023 model. Firstly, the shoe opens up with that iconic black leather all throughout the upper. Subsequently, we get more black on the tongue, mudguard, and even the back heel. Lastly, red and white grace the midsole and outsole in order to bring in that iconic “Bulls” look.

If you love the history of Jordan Brand, then it is likely that you will appreciate these. Hopefully, there is enough stock for everyone, as plenty of people will be vying to get their hands on these.

Christopher Wallace x Air Jordan 13 To Be Auctioned At Massive Prices

Christopher Wallace, more commonly known as The Notorious B.I.G., is one of hip-hop’s biggest legends. He was a larger-than-life personality who completely changed the genre. Overall, his legend still lives on, and he is always honored for his contributions to music.

Interestingly enough, Jumpman created a Christopher Wallace-themed Air Jordan 13 back in 2017. This was meant to pay homage on his 45th birthday. Now, however, Jumpman is celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop by auctioning off this iconic sneaker.

Jumpman and the Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation will be selling off these kicks through Sotheby’s. As you can imagine, there aren’t very many of these to go around. In fact, only 23 were ever created. Needless to say, this is going to be a truly incredible collector’s item.

“We are thrilled that the Jordan Brand and the Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation have entrusted Sotheby’s with these exclusive pairs of sneakers honoring the legacy of The Notorious B.I.G. as part of the Jordan Year 2023 celebration,” Brahm Wachter, head of streetwear and modern collectibles at Sotheby’s explained via Sole Collector. “The auction marks the only opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike to acquire these special limited-edition sneakers that bring together the legacies of the greatest athlete of all time with the greatest rapper ever.”

In the images provided by Sotheby’s, you can see how the sneaker has a predominantly black suede look to it. B.I.G.’s face can be found on the tongue, while red surrounds the tongue and inner lining. Overall, it is a very cool look that is most definitely going to entice potential collectors.

As for the start date of this auction, pairs will be made available as of February 3rd. Numerous sizes will be made available, although you can expect to pay anywhere from $2,300 to $5K. Additionally, let us know what you think, in the comments down below.

Air Jordan 13 “Wheat” To Return This Year: Details

One of the best sneakers from the late 90s is the Air Jordan 13. This is a shoe that Michael Jordan wore proudly during his final season with the Chicago Bulls. Overall, this silhouette is fairly underrated. However, it is definitely getting quite a bit of shine these days.

Over these last few years, we have seen plenty of new colorways for this model. Additionally, there have been some great retros, as well. With many OG retros in our rearview mirror, Jumpman is looking to retro some color schemes from the early to mid-2000s.

According to Sneakerfiles, the latest Jordan 13 to get a retro will be the “Wheat” colorway which can be found below. This is a model that plays into the beloved Flax aesthetic. You will mostly find these kinds of shoes in both the Fall and the Winter.

Firstly, this shoe opens up with a white leather upper. From the tongue to the toe box to the side panels, everything is white. Secondly, the Wheat aesthetic comes into play through the mudguard and the back heel. Furthermore, we get a flax-colored Jumpman logo on the tongue which brings it all together.

If you are a big fan of the Air Jordan 13, then this shoe could very well be a must-cop. After all, everyone needs some kicks for the Fall and Winter, and what better colorway than “Wheat.” Nike and Jumpman seem to do this color scheme very well, and it only makes sense that they would want to bring back this particular shoe. For 2000s kids, this is going to bring forth some heavy nostalgia.

Air Jordan 13 “University Blue” Release Date Confirmed

Overall, the Air Jordan 13 is a silhouette that you cannot go wrong with. It is a model that debuted back in the late 90s, and to this day, it has remained relevant. This is all thanks to a plethora of great new colorways, as well as some pretty awesome retro variants.

Consequently, Jumpman has decided to keep the Air Jordan 13 momentum going. In any given year, so many Jordans are released that it can be hard to keep up. When it comes to the AJ13, however, it is clear that Jordan Brand likes to pick its spots. Subsequently, that has led to the “Black-University Blue” color scheme.

In the official images below, you can see this brand-new offering. We have teased this one before, and it is clear that Jumpman has a hit here. After all, University Blue is a color that fans adore, especially when you consider how it is tied to the Tar Heels and Michael Jordan’s tenure at the school.

Firstly, this shoe begins with a black base. From the toe box to the side panels, this shoe hits you with a heavy dose of black. Secondly, the mudguard and back heel get the UNC treatment. These elements blend together to form a unique sneaker that is going to make a lot of sneakerheads happy.
