One of the best sneakers ever made is none other than the Air Jordan 1. Overall, this is the sneaker that started it all for Michael Jordan and Jordan Brand. The shoe was released in 1984, and to this day, is one of the best sellers from Nike. Although, it should be noted that the High OG we know today is not like the sneaker that was released almost 40 years ago. In fact, the original version of the shoe had a straighter cut to it. While the High OG remains more prevalent, the High ’85 version has received quite a bit of shine thanks to recent nostalgia.

Subsequently, we have seen plenty of great Air Jordan 1 High ’85 colorways make their way to the market. Typically, these colorways always seem to bank on people’s nostalgia. This is due to the fact that the High ’85 is the perfect silhouette for retros. Back in the day, there were plenty of amazing colorways that came out with this specific cut, and Nike is always eager to pay homage. Now, we even have a teaser for a new High ’85 that is set to drop next year.

According to @zsneakerheadz on Instagram, this Air Jordan 1 is the “Metallic Red” colorway. This is an iconic OG version of the silhouette, and fans will be very excited to see these back on the market. Firstly, the shoe is covered in white leather. From the toe box to the overlays, 80 percent of the shoe is white. Secondly, we get a nice bright red on the Nike swoosh, cuff, Wings logo, and even the outsole. All of this comes together to create a sneaker that simply cannot be stopped in the warmer months.

As for a release date, well, we still do not have one. Overall, this shoe is set to be dropped in the Spring of 2024. For now, however, this is simply a rumor. Air Jordan 1 “Spider-Verse” Gets New Images

Fans of the Air Jordan 1 have absolutely been spoiled over the last few years. This is a sneaker that is constantly getting some dope new colorways. Overall, it is also perhaps the most iconic shoe ever made. Michael Jordan wore it in his first year in the NBA, which consequently makes it a part of history. Moreover, it just has an amazing look to it. There is no denying this shoe’s place within the sneaker lexicon. At this point, pretty well every single sneakerhead has a pair.

Furthermore, this is a shoe that has cemented its place within pop culture. There have been various instances in which this sneaker has been seen in movies or other forms of media. One of the more recent examples of that was on the Air Jordan 1 “Origin Story.” The shoe was made to help promote Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. Subsequently, there is a sequel coming out called Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. Interestingly enough, this movie is also getting its very own sneaker.

This new sneaker is called the Air Jordan 1 “Spider-Verse.” If you know the visual motifs of the film, then this silhouette will certainly make sense to you. However, it may actually come across as jarring to others. Firstly, you can tell that this shoe has a similar base to the “Chicago” Air Jordan 1. However, things get very weird when you get to the overlays near the cuff of the shoe. There are all sorts of circles that are red in nature. Moreover, they are bolstered by some blue and yellow tones. Needless to say, this shoe is definitely going for something exciting.

For those of you out there who are fans of these, you will have to wait until May 20th to cop. Additionally, these will cost a total of $200 USD. Air Jordan 1 “Satin Bred” Gets A Rumored Release Date

Fans of the Air Jordan 1 have been pretty blessed over the years. Overall, this is a shoe that is over four decades old. However, it is still kicking and innovating with the times. For those who may be unaware, this shoe came out all the way back in 1985. It was Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe, and he certainly made it count. Now, in 2023, fans can expect more new colorways. Throughout the year, there have been various teasers for what is to come. Overall, the offerings have been quite unique. Firstly, the shoe has red on the toe box, outsole, back heel, and the Nike swoosh. From there, the rest of the shoe is black, except for the midsole which is white. Overall, the shoe will then be covered in satin materials.

At the time of writing this, the rumored release date for the shoe is October 18th at a price of $180 USD. A lot can change between now and then, especially since Jumpman has yet to confirm these. Although, this time around, fans should expect suede all throughout the silhouette. Firstly, the sneaker will have royal blue on the toe box, outsole, back heel, and the Nike swoosh. From there, the rest of the shoe will be black, except for the midsole which is white. The “Royal” colorway we all know and love is not changing, however, the materials are.

Jordan Brand is starting to create more and more “Reimagined” models as of late. It is a trend that fans have appreciated which means more will be on the way. Throughout the first quarter of this year, we have already seen a plethora of amazing offerings hit the market. Overall, this gives the shoe the same color-blocking as the “Royal” and “Bred” models. It is a fantastic look that we’re sure fans will appreciate to the fullest.

This Craig Sager Air Jordan 1 PE Is Incredible

If you know anything about Craig Sager, it is that he had some truly wonderful suits. Additionally, he was beloved by all of the players and coaches he interviewed. Over the years, Sager was a staple of NBA On TNT’s coverage. He was always standing courtside, ready to interview the biggest names in the sport. Although he interviewed some people at their lowest moments, he was able to get people to crack a smile. When he passed away a few years ago, it was a huge loss to the basketball community.

Going back to Sager’s suits, he was always wearing something truly unique. The patterns and the fabrics on his menswear would always get a ride out of people. Even though not everyone was a fan of his looks, they couldn’t help but deny that Sager pulled it off immaculately. Having said all of this, it should come as no surprise that Jordan Brand once made a Craig Sager Player Exclusive. Although it was never released officially, there are still some images of it online.

It is impossible to truly describe this shoe from head to toe. Overall, this is because each section of the shoe features its own unique pattern. Of course, this all represents Sager and his magnificent suits. He never wore the same thing twice, and that is absolutely represented here. Every time you look at this shoe, you are going to come across something new. Most sneakers don’t give you that feeling, however, these definitely do.

Unfortunately, you will never be able to purchase these. Jordan Brand has no plans for an official release, and that is probably for the best. Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 1 Collab Coming Soon: First Look

Teyana Taylor is one of those artists who can truly do it all. The r&b singer is an amazing artist who can also dance and do choreography. Moreover, she is someone who has always demonstrated a keen eye for fashion. Many of her fans have even praised her for the shoes she has worn over the years. Overall, she is an influencer in the truest sense of the word. The artist can create trends and can also influence her fanbase to wear something. That said, it only makes sense that a company like Jordan Brand would want to work with her.

Jumpman has done collaborations with a whole plethora of artists over the years. Now, according to the sneaker leaker @sneakertigger, it would appear as though Teyana Taylor is being added to that list. Additionally, it is revealed that her first shoe is going to be an Air Jordan 1. This shoe will be called “A Rose From Harlem” and it is set to be quite the undertaking.

In the images up above, you can see what this new colorway is going to look like. Firstly, the shoe begins with a white base. Secondly, the overlays are red with some yellow laces on top. Furthermore, the swoosh on the side is oversized and stitched on. The Swoosh on the opposite side is red, with some green horns protruding throughout. Lastly, there is a patch of brown on the back heel. It’s also important to note the “A Rose From Harlem” branding that can be found at the top of the heel. Overall, these elements form a unique Air Jordan 1 model that many fans will be impressed with.

For instance, the shoe had a bit of an aged look, particularly in the midsole. Subsequently, Jumpman is looking to bring the “Reimagined” vibes back to the AJ1, this time on the “Royal” colorway.

Air Jordan 1 “Across The Spider-Verse” Drops In 2023: On-Foot Images

If you are a big fan of the Air Jordan 1, then you have been spoiled over these past few decades. Overall, the Jordan 1 is seen as the flagship shoe of Jordan Brand. It is the first signature sneaker Michael Jordan ever wore, and it remains a fan-favorite.

Over the years, the Jordan 1 has had its place in pop culture. Most recently, we got to see the shoe in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. The main character, Miles Morales could be seen wearing the Jordan 1, and the shoe ended up being released to the public.

Air Jordan 1 Goes Spider-Man…Again

Now, however, a new Spider-Verse movie is coming out called Across The Spider-Verse. Fans are very excited to watch this new movie, and as you could guess, a new Air Jordan 1 will be released. The shoe has the same name as the movie, although the aesthetic is much different than you would expect. Either way, the shoe is very unique.

In the on-foot photos from @yankeekicks, you can see just how wild this model is. Firstly, we get the typical white leather on the toe box and side panels. The overlays are all over the place as we get red with various unique patterns. Red dots, yellow and blue passages, as well as some brown spots, grace the overlays. From there, the Nike swoosh and cuff are black.

This is a shoe that will definitely not be for everyone. Having said that, some are going to enjoy these a lot. After all, polarizing shoes have their place, and can easily become classics later on.
