The NBA has seen massive success with the addition of the City Edition Jerseys. The teams go all out with the special edition uniforms. Team’s match the court to their special looks. For example, the Dallas Mavericks wore their current City Edition Jerseys on Wednesday night.
The special jerseys have been designed by KAWS. KAWS is known as an American graffiti artist. Needless to say, the Nets’ new look is heavily inspired by graffiti art. The new look is a splash of multiple colors that perfectly encapsulates the design of Brooklyn street art. Fans have already taken to social media to discuss the newest design. Most seem to think it is a hit. However, some prefer a more classic look. But, the Nets went through a massive change when the franchise moved to Brooklyn.

The team currently sits in sixth place in the Eastern Conference with just one game left. Needless to say, the Nets will be participating in the NBA Playoffs. A thought that once felt impossible. A welcomed sight to a fan base who, at one time, didn’t have much hope. The announcement of next season’s City Edition Jerseys is just icing on the cake for the Brooklyn faithful.
