Kendrick Lamar made his return to the stage at Coachella.
Baby Keem surprised the crowd by bringing out his cousin during his weekend two set at the festival in Indio, Calif. on Friday night (April 22). The crowd went wild when the oklama emerged on the Sahara stage for an explosive performance of their Grammy-winning single “Family Ties.” He also stuck around for “Vent,” another of their collaborations off Keem’s debut album The Melodic Blue.
Moments before his surprise appearance, King Kendrick was photographed backstage in a trailer with Keem and pgLang’s Tanna Leone. The reclusive rapper showed off his Coachella fit including silver boots with Dodgers logo patches, a bucket hat, and sunglasses.

The performance comes just days after Kendrick announced his long-awaited fifth studio album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, which will arrive May 13. He was also spotted in the crowd at a Dodgers game.
This marks Kendrick’s first performance since he headlined the Day N Vegas festival in November, where he brought out Keem.
