Jack Harlow recently appeared on the Rap Radar podcast, where he revealed his top five favorite albums of all time. When the artist was asked to dish on what five records “personally connected to” him the most, he listed Drake, Kanye West, and more in his top picks. He went on to share his love for The Cool Kids, revealing that he appreciates “all that bounce and tempo” that the duo provides.
Drake’s 2013 LP Nothing Was the Same, and Kanye West’s 2005 LP Late Registration occupy the first two spots on his list. Harlow later lists the iconic 2001 Jay-Z album, The Blueprint. Harlow says that OutKast’s 1998 third studio album, Aquemini also lands in his top five. As for The Cool Kids, Harlow says 2011’s When Fish Ride Bicycles and 2008’s The Bake Sale, take the cake. Fans note that the rapper managed to compile a fairly rock solid list.

Jack Harlow Loves The Cool Kids
As he rounded out his picks, Harlow proceeded to gush about Chicago hip hop duo The Cool Kids. “I love The Cool Kids,” he reveals. “The Cool Kids give me like, all that bounce and tempo that I like.” “All that smooth sh*t,” he continues, “I like beats that are goin’ in a circle.”
During the interview, Harlow also responded to Machine Gun Kelly’s recent diss on “Renegade (Freestyle).” MGK advised the rapper to “Give Drake his flow back,” in the track. Harlow responded to the hate, claiming that “Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion.” He went on to say, “I feel great about what I said, and I feel great about the reaction. It just is what it is.” Harlow says he has “no reservations about what was said at all,” adding that, “talking sh*t” is simply the name of the game for MCs. He also went on to share his experience of meeting and receiving praise from Kendrick Lamar at the Met Gala. The rapper says that getting Kendrick’s co-sign was all he needed to feel validated.
