Antonio Brown Fires Arena League Coach, Threatens Players

If you have been following the life and times of Antonio Brown, you know that he is currently the owner of a National Arena League team. His father played for the Albany Empire back in the day, and to make him proud, he purchased the team. According to TMZ, he owns about 95 percent of the franchise. However, it turns out that this has been a disaster of sorts. Overall, we know this due to the testimony of former head coach Damon Ware. Moreover, former quarterback Sam Castronova is also speaking out.

As the story goes, things with Antonio Brown have been horrible. Previously, we reported on how he got into a heated altercation at an Albany Empire game. However, this has been the least of the team’s worries. As Ware explains, the team is supposed to get paid a week after each game. Although, following two weeks of action, not a single player was paid. Subsequently, there were calls from within to protest future games. Eventually, Brown promised everyone payment, and they played a third match.

The aforementioned third game went down on Sunday, and players still had yet to be paid. Consequently, a bunch of players decided to team up and make their case to team officials. Unfortunately, things got worse as according to Castronova and Ware, players and coaches were locked out of their hotel rooms. Their keycards no longer worked, and it was nearly impossible for them to fetch their belongings. Simply put, Antonio Brown put them on the street.

Now, the team is missing some of its most essential players. Moreover, the rest of the players have yet to be paid sufficiently. Needless to say, this entire situation is a mess, and Antonio Brown is at the center of it. As it stands, AB has yet to comment on the situation.
