Gisele Bündchen and her divorce from Tom Brady have been highly publicized over the last few months. Overall, they seemed like the perfect power couple. However, things quickly took a turn as reports circulated that Gisele was no longer happy. Mostly, it was said that Bündchen had given Brady an ultimatum in regard to playing football. As we all know, Brady had promised to retire before going back on his word. Ultimately, one can see how that might affect a relationship.
That said, Gisele Bündchen is now looking to set the record straight on all of this. Recently, the supermodel sat down with Vanity Fair where she spoke about her failed marriage. Throughout the interview, Bündchen made it crystal clear that she never offered Brady an ultimatum. Furthermore, she said that the reason for their divorce was simply the fact that they had grown apart. Overall, they wanted different things, and their marriage fizzled out as a result.

“When you love someone, you don’t put them in a jail and say, ‘You have to live this life,’” Gisele said. “You set them free to be who they are, and if you want to fly the same direction, then that’s amazing. We’re not playing against each other. We are a team … and that’s beautiful. I look back and I have no regrets. I loved every bit of it.” Additionally, the model addressed the rumors that she is dating Tom’s friend Jeffrey Soffer. She believes someone is out to get her by planting fake stories.
Needless to say, Gisele is not a huge fan of all these rumors and false reports. It is easy to see why, especially when you’ve already gone through something as traumatic as a divorce.
