Double up.
Lil Durk drops his latest video for “Blocklist” off his chart-topping album 7220. But he doesn’t even appear in the clip. Instead, he enlists his look-alike Shmurkioo, who has been making a name for himself online.
Shurmkio hits the strip club when he gets a text from Durk’s girlfriend India. After finding out that he’s been unfaithful, she gets revenge by setting his sneakers on fire. He tries to win her back, pulling up to her house with balloons but she’s not having it and tosses his clothes off the balcony before smashing a glass on his head.
“I’m tryna talk to you / I’m on that blocklist,” raps Durk.
Durk’s double is a social media sensation in his own right with over 200,000 Instagram followers. He regularly impersonates Durk and his flashy lifestyle, and even shut down a Florida mall while pretending to be the Chicago rapper.
7220, which features appearances from Future, Summer Walker, and Gunna, is on track to top the Billboard 200 yet again after debuting at No. 1 last month.
