The Dallas Cowboys looked better than they have in years. Behind the stellar play of Dak Prescott, the Cowboys are entering the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the NFC. The Cowboys capped their season with a 38-10 blowout of the Washington Commanders.
Speaking after the game, Prescott revealed why he did not want to wear the cap for the Cowboys newly won NFC East division title.
“I wouldn’t say I’m trying to send a message or anything,” Prescott said. “The hat is warmer. A shirt is a shirt. Yeah, I mean, won it before. Obviously, it’s a huge accomplishment for myself, this team, the organization. Don’t get me wrong by any means. But the focus is ahead. Simple as that. I want something better.”
Something better is the Vince Lombardi trophy given out at The Super Bowl.
For the game, Prescott threw for 31 completions across 36 attempts, four touchdowns, and one interception, amassing 279 yards.
