Ronda Rousey Expresses Admiration For Conor McGregor

In light of Conor McGregor’s gruesome ankle injury at UFC 264, the whole world has been against him as of late. Most fans on social media have lost patience with the star, all while fellow UFC fighters believe he can no longer be a high-level star in the sport. It’s a sad fall from grace for a star who is supposed to be one of the greatest in the history of the entire UFC.

Fortunately for McGregor, there are still some people who are left in his corner, and one of them is none other than former UFC superstar Ronda Rousey. Like McGregor, Rousey suffered some pretty bad defeats in the Octagon following her reign of terror, and eventually, it led her to the WWE. As she noted on Twitter, McGregor is an inspiration and his ability to move forward is what will put him on top again.

“I’m amazed that as soon as you hit the ground you were already promoting the next fight @TheNotoriousMMA – I def wouldn’t have had the mind to do that. The other fighters, @ufc and media are lucky to have you,” Rousey wrote. Following his three-and-a-half-hour surgery, McGregor saw the kind words and replied to Rousey saying “Thank you for the message Ronda! I appreciate it greatly.”

In a recent video on social media, McGregor revealed that he would be on crutches for six weeks and then after that, he would be able to properly rehab his leg. This means we probably won’t see McGregor again in 2021, however, there is a real possibility we get him back in shape by early to mid-2022.

Let us know in the comments below who you think McGregor should fight next.

“Arrest Trump Now” Trends As Capitol Video Goes Viral

It’s nearly been half a year since former President Donald Trump was booted out of the White House, replaced by President Joe Biden in the Oval Office. Considering how much damage Trump did to the country though, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that he’s still one of the most polarizing trends in the world. On Monday morning, the world woke up to a new trend on Twitter, suggesting that the former President be arrested “now” for his statement which incited the Capitol riots on January 6, 2021. As a video interview shows, Trump still does not understand the weight of his words.

“#ArrestTrumpNow” is one of the biggest trends in the world right now as people argue that #45 should be locked up for presenting such an immense danger to the country’s democracy. A viral interview on Fox News shows how Trump feels about the Capitol raid after having “some time to reflect,” during which he says he gave a “very mild-mannered speech.” The video then pivots to show the destruction that his supporters did to the Capitol building, breaking in, smashing windows, and presenting a dangerous threat to the people inside. Prior to the raid, Trump told his fans that they would “never take back our country with weakness, you have to show strength.”

Do you think Trump should be arrested for inciting a riot at the Capitol?

Conor McGregor Reveals His Recovery Timeline Following Surgery

Conor McGregor was the main protagonist on social media Sunday and it wasn’t for the best of reasons. The former UFC champion lost for the second time in a row to Dustin Poirier and it was all because of a gruesome injury he sustained in the first round of their fight. McGregor’s ankle snapped in two which led to a quick doctor’s stoppage. Eventually, McGregor had to be carried off on a stretcher and it was a sight that no one saw coming.

Yesterday, McGregor wasted no time getting surgery as he had a rod placed in his fibula and tibia. Plates and screws are being used to hold it all together and according to TMZ, McGregor is set to make a full recovery, which is certainly good news for the fighter’s career.

Following the three-and-a-half-hour surgery, McGregor took to Twitter with a video of himself from his hospital bed. In this video, McGregor revealed that he would be on crutches for the next month and a half and that while the process might be tedious, he will absolutely be back. In fact, McGregor seemed to be in a good mood, all things considered.

“Just out of the surgery room guys,” McGregor exclaimed. “Surgery went excellent. Feeling tremendous. 6 weeks on crutch and we build back. Let’s go. God bless.”

It remains to be seen who would be next in line to fight McGregor, although it’s clear he won’t be fighting for a while. Hopefully, however, we can see McGregor back in the Octagon sooner rather than later.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Leads Bucks To Much Needed Game 3 Win Against Suns

Giannis Antetokounmpo had his second 40 point game in the NBA Finals this year, but this time he got the W too. The Milwaukee Bucks toppled the Phoenix Suns, 120-100, on the strength of 41 points and 13 rebounds from Giannis. Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton, who were little help in Giannis’ last 40 point game, stepped up tonight to combine for 39 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds. Bobby Portis was also clutch off the bench, adding 11 points in 18 minutes.

Devin Booker of the Suns had a tough night, only notching 10 points with 6 rebounds. Chris Paul and DeAndre Ayton led the team, scoring 19 and 18, respectively. Jae Crowder also put up 18 points. However, the lights out shooting from the previous two games was nowhere in sight as the Bucks defense played with some energy. How many nights is Booker only going to score 10 points though? The Bucks have made the Finals more interesting with this win. There had been 35 times where a team had taken a 2-0 series lead in the NBA Finals. Only 5 of those times has the other team come back to win. The Bucks have a tall task ahead of them. Game 4 of the NBA Finals is on Wednesday in Milwaukee at 9 p.m. ET. Do you think the Bucks can tie it up?

Meek Mill & Lil Uzi Vert Spotted Shooting Music Video For A New Collab Track

Philly representers Meek Mill and Lil Uzi Vert have worked together in the past, and they’re continuing to ride together for a new single. The two friends were spotted shooting a music video for a new track, which sounds like a banger. Meek drops his double-time flows, spitting about his style and money in a snippet that found its way online. However, some fans online started to clown Meek for his attire, which they compared to a character from SpongeBob.

The beat for the track is comprised of furious pianos that flutter excitedly and the percussions rattle the speakers. Uzi, dressed in black shorts and a matching black shirt, is shown dropping his verse next, with an excited Meek hyping him up in the background. The shoot looks like it was done on a random street, with a few of Meek and Uzi’s crews stepping in with motorcycles. It seems like this is Meek’s song, but where it will be released and when we get the final version is still a mystery.

Recently, footage of the aftermath of an altercation between Meek and Travis Scott leaked online. The interaction occurred at Michael Rubin’s party in the Hamptons on July 4th.

4 Arrested After Police Find 16 Guns & 1000 Rounds In Hotel Near Denver MLB All-Star Game

It’s a crazy world. 4 individuals were arrested over the weekend after police found several guns and a thousand rounds of ammunition in their hotel room. The hotel is located in Downtown Denver, which is experiencing an influx of tourists for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Richard Platt, 42, Gabriel Rodriguez, 48, Ricardo Rodriguez, 44, and Kanoelehua Serikawa, 43, were arrested and two vehicles were impounded to be investigated.

After a tip, police searched the room at the Maven Hotel, just one block from Coors Field, on Friday night. Allegedly, an employee saw guns in the room. “We have no reason to believe this incident was connected to terrorism or a threat directed at the All-Star Game,” the FBI said in a statement released Sunday. “We are not aware of any threat to the All-Star Game events, venues, players or the community at this time.” However, police were concerned about a Las Vegas-style massacre because the hotel room has a balcony that overlooks downtown Denver. Sources claim police confiscated 16 long guns, body armor, and over 1,000 rounds of ammunition.

“We don’t know what we don’t know. That’s what the investigation is all about,” police Chief Paul Pazen stated during a news conference. “We need to identify exactly, to the extent possible, why (the) individuals were here in the first place, why (the) proximity to downtown. We don’t have those answers.”

Chris Brown Sued Over “Privacy” For Allegedly Stealing Portions From Dancehall Single

Chris Brown is in more legal trouble. He is being sued for his 2017 banger “Privacy.” The song, which was produced by d.a. got that dope, was a sexy hit where Brown’s influence from the dancehall hit “Tight Up Skirt” is obvious. Now, United Kingdom-based company Greensleeves Publishing, which owns the rights to the track, is suing Brown. Red Rat, who performed the track, is not named in the lawsuit.

When Heartbreak on a Full Moon dropped, Red Rat claimed that he was, “getting many calls left and right from many people asking me about my thoughts regarding [Chris Brown] sampling ‘Tight Up Skirt’, and all I can say is, ‘Give God all the glory.’”

“Hey you, girl inna the tight up skirt! /You make me head swell ’til me blood vessel burst,” sings Red Rat on the original. “Ayy you, gal, inna di tight up skirt /Get that ass in the bed, I’ma lock the door,” sings Brown in his rendition. Greensleeves claims that Brown bit “Tight Up Skirt” for “Privacy” and “took the core musical feature” of the song without permission. They used the hook and chorus as their examples. However, it’s not clear if Brown “bit” enough for them to win in court.
