LeBron James and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers have struggled to start the season. After jumping out to a record of 2-3, it became clear that this Lakers squad did not have the chemistry to compete with some of the other best teams in the Western Conference. Not to mention, LeBron’s injury was hampering the team, and Russell Westbrook desperately needed him back in the lineup for offensive and defensive support.

Last night, James made his return against his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Overall, it was a solid game for everyone on the purple and gold as they came away with a 113-101 win. Perhaps the biggest surprise from the game was none other than Dwight Howard, who drained a late-game three-pointer to put the Cavs away.

It is not every day that Howard hits a three-pointer, and that rarity was reflected in the reactions from the Lakers bench. As you can see in the clip below, LeBron and Russ were overjoyed by the shot, and they were having a ton of fun as the Lakers finally got themselves back into the win column. 

A win against the Cavs is by no means an indication that this Lakers team is back on track, although it’s good to see them play with some chemistry. If they can continue this, then they will certainly find a way back to the top of the Western Conference. 

Herr antics both on screen and on social media have caused havoc a time or two, but simultaneously, Sukihana is a beloved personality. She gives outlandish takes on pop culture and shares so much of her personal life with the world that it gives some people pause, but the rapper’s viral moments have made for entertainment that her fans enjoy.

It is Halloween weekend and it seems as if everyone is either giving their opinions on what people should wear or showing off their best outfits. Ciara jumped online with a tribute to the late icon Selena, and immediately she received praise. Amid the applause, Sukihana sent out tweets criticizing those who continue to don Selena’s look each year.

“All y’all hoes love being Selena every Halloween, hoe be Harriet Tubman for once.. Don’t even know that lady songs,” she wrote. “All y’all know is beedy beads bumpa or what ever tf she be singing. Selena don’t want y’all to keep dressing up as her for Halloween.” The tweets were quickly shared on multiple social media platforms and people called out Sukihana for allegedly targeting Ciara. However, she denied that her posts had anything to do with the singer.

“Ciara is unproblematic and literally doesn’t bother anybody Stop tryna put me against her,” Sukihana shared on her Instagram Story. “I ain’t even seen her costume. it was a joke but I said what I said [crying laughing emojis]. I you can’t laugh kiss my [surprised emoji]. After Hollywood Unlocked reposted her message, she added, “Kiss my dookie shooter to whoever mad idgaf.”

More stars are drawing attention to the importance of mental health and Taraji P. Henson has partnered with Facebook Watch to expand her vision. The award-winning actress hosts Peace of Mind with Taraji where she sits down with celebrities and other influential figures. During the episodes, harsh truths and traumatic memories are often discussed, and such was the case when Chance The Rapper recently paid Taraji & Co. a visit.

Taraji, her co-host Tracie Jade, and Chance chatted about the expectation for Black men to “man up” and the rapper reportedly spoke about why he feels it is necessary to end that narrative.

Chance admitted that mental health and wellness weren’t things that were commonly talked about in his home while growing up.

“There’s probably a ton of situations where people you know, we just wrote them off as crazy, or like they was tweakin’ but they were actually going through a chronic mental health disorder,” he said. “I feel like this is something that we’re all, as a mainstream, we’re starting to be like, ‘OK, yeah health is beyond just our physical.'”

Chance added that he has “a lot of dark days” and revealed that watching his peers get murdered in front of him has caused severe mental issues. “Obviously I deal with PTSD, I saw my friend killed in front of me when I was 19 and I’ve seen people I didn’t know get killed too. You become kind of numb to it, like somebody else died last week but it stays with you, you know what I mean? And you don’t realize until later — like I have lasting effects.”

The hype around The Real Housewives of Potomac reunion has only intensified now that the official trailer has been shared. While the reality show has garnered millions upon millions of fans over the years, the Barbz were quick to add their names to the list of admirers after Nicki Minaj expressed interest in the series.

Like Rihanna, who is a huge fan of the franchise, Minaj has tuned in to the Potomac version and previously stated that she wanted to host. What has followed has been a monumental moment for the award-winning rapper, because she sat down with the reality stars as they gathered to relive their most dramatic moments from this latest season.

In the trailer, Minaj can be heard questioning the show’s cast and it sounds as if she was stirring things up. The rapper asked the ladies about having secret lovers, starting drama, one of their men “following a bunch of booty models,” and even was heard yelling, “We ain’t gettin’ away with that nonsense today, baby!”

They also show Minaj’s dramatic entrance at the end of the teaser that caused the cast to scream enthusiastically, and fans can’t get enough. Check it out below.

Yung Miami is the talk of the town today after her “Rap Freaks” single has fans firing off on social media. The City Girls star also released a racy music video for the track where she’s donning her best BDSM gear and acting out a few of her favorite kinks. Lyrically, “Rap Freaks” boasted bars about Yung Miami’s fantasies in the bedroom with some major players in Hip Hop.

She name-dropped Diddy, 50 Cent, Meek Mill, Lil Durk, Megan Thee Stallion, and more, including Moneybagg Yo.

“Have Meek spittin’ in this cat like he on Funk Flex / Moneybagg, I’m in the ‘yo, I got a hit song / I need a verse, come through, just leave your b*tch home,” Miami rapper on the track. When she mention Durk, Yung Miami stated that she wanted to get down with the OTF icon and his girlfriend India Royale. With Moneybagg, Ari Fletcher was not included in the sex-driven lyrics, so people immediately assumed there was some sort of issue.

“Me waiting on @AriTheDon to get up and listen to @YungMiami305 song [loudly crying emoji],” a fan wrote on Twitter. Ari addressed the controversy head-on with a simple response. “She been called me about that song and I been heard it,” she said.

It was a meeting of the minds on DJ Akademiks’s podcast after he invited DJ Vlad for a chat. The Off The Record podcast has been rolling on with interviews that have caused several viral moments online, including Akademiks sitting down with the likes of Tekashi 6ix9ine and Kodak Black. He recently also chopped it up with VladTV‘s very own DJ Vlad, and during the conversation, there was an interesting story about Drake shared with the masses.

“I remember when I met Drake, originally it was at a Beats By Dre party and he was walking by and I was like, ‘What up, I’m Vlad from VladTV,'” Vlad recalled. “He was like, ‘Oh, yeah man, stop talking sh*t about me.'”

Akademiks couldn’t believe that Drake was so forward. “I swear to God!,” answered Vlad, adding that the interaction occurred sometime in 2014. “I didn’t think anything of it… I’m like, ‘Okay, that’s weird, whatever.’ and then, we ran into him again in New Orleans for All-Star Weekend. I took a picture with him and everything else like that and I talked to his man Oliver and he was like, ‘Yeah, we know about you.'”

Still, Vlad did not think there was a problem. “I’m not really picking up the bad vibes,” he continued. “I’m thinking, you, we’ve been supporting this guy non-stop since he started. There’s a million f*cking articles praising him over and over again. Drake does this, Drake does that, blah blah blah. I’m not thinking, like a Charlamagne that comes on the show and bashes him a little bit.”

Vlad said he later ran into another person from Drake’s team and they exchanged numbers, but when that unnamed person checked in with Drake, the rapper wasn’t having any of it. Drizzy allegedly told his friend that Vlad was “dissing” him and the guy confronted Vlad about it. Swipe below to hear Vlad explain it all for himself.

Another artist is facing legal trouble over an alleged dog attack. Earlier this year, Chris Brown was sued after his cleaning lady was reportedly attacked by one of his beloved dogs. That case is ongoing, and today (October 29), Radar Online reported that new court documents show that French Montana has been tacked with similar accusations.

Montana has been enjoying his introduction into the weekend with the release of his new single, “I Don’t Really Care.” The record came with an announcement that the rapper plans to release his fourth studio album, They Got Amnesia, in just two weeks, but unfortunately will him, he also has to deal with a lawsuit.

According to Radar, they’ve taken a look at the court documents filed by Jason Leyva, a reported landscaper, who was said to have been working at the rapper’s mansion in Calabasas back in November 2019. Leyva claims that Montana’s Tibetan Mountain Dog was roaming around “freely without any form of restraint or control of a competent person,” basically meaning no one was there to look after the animal.

Leyva claims that the pup is dangerous because it has a history of attacking people and the landscaper believes that Montana was negligent in restraining the dog properly. 

“Defendants failed to have the dog under restraint or to take any other precautions to prevent the dog from attacking Plaintiff or other persons or to warn invitees of the danger posed by the dog,” reads court documents. “Plaintiff has been unable, and will continue in the future to be unable, to attend to his normal occupations, resulting in a loss of earnings and earning capacity.”

In 2019, another man named Daniel Banuelos also sued French Montana over a dog attack. Banuelos was reportedly at the rapper’s home to install a security camera when he claims Montana’s dog “violently attacked and viciously” injured him. Not only that, Banuelos claims that Montana was encouraging the animal to act aggressively.

Leyva is seeking unspecified damages.

The hype surrounding this tour was astronomical, but it seems that fans will have to wait a bit longer to see The Fugees back in action. It was announced just last month that The Fugees were embarking on a world tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their classic hit album The Score. The award-winning Hip Hop trio even kicked off the tour with pop-up events and surprise performances, but after all of the hype, it was announced today (October 29) that there would be a delay.

The group shared the sad news to Instagram with an explanation.

“Dates for our upcoming Fugees 25th Anniversary Tour are moving to early 2022 to ensure the best chance that all cities on the tour are fully open so we can perform for as many fans as possible,” The Fugees wrote. “With so much excitement around the reunion tour, we are also happy to announce that we will be adding more cities and dates!”

They promised that they would give updates as time goes on, along with more “SPECIAL announcements.” The internet was quick to react and it seemed to be a general consensus that many did not expect this tour to begin on schedule. Check out the group’s announcement, as well as a few reactions, below.
