Deshaun Watson is in the midst of battling 22 sexual assault lawsuits in the state of Texas. These allegations stem from 22 different massage therapists who all have similar stories of inappropriate conduct from the Texans star. These lawsuits popped up following Watson’s request to be traded out of Houston, and the legal battles continue to be a hurdle when it comes to trading the quarterback.

Regardless, the Texans have been trying to find themselves a trade partner and at this point, the Miami Dolphins appear to be the most obvious option. The Dolphins want a superstar quarterback and they believe Watson would be an upgrade from Tua Tagovailoa. Having said that, the team only has a few days left to trade him as the deadline goes down on Tuesday, November 2nd.

With the trade deadline quickly approaching, it appears as though Watson has only given his blessing to be traded to one team. That team is, you guessed it, the Miami Dolphins. According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, Watson is eager to go to Miami although he doesn’t seem interested in going anywhere else. This gives the Texans limited options to work with heading into the deadline, although at this point, every fan knows the Dolphins are probably the final destination for the Texans QB.

Freddie Gibbs and DJ Akademiks went at each other on Twitter, Saturday night, after Gibbs threatened to fight Ak whenever he runs into him. The interaction was sparked after Akademiks posted a video of Kay Flock and Ron Suno throwing hands at Rolling Loud in New York City over the weekend.

“I hope you post it when I run into you,” Gibbs responded to the video.

He continued on the topic in a seperate post: “I coulda been smoked akademiks. His hoe gave me his home address months ago. The n****z in LA he was with last week was not gon protect him if I walked in that no jumper interview. I know all of them. God got bigger plans for me but when I get bored I’m back on yo ass. On VL.”

“Well stfu about shit u aint finna do,” snapped back Akademiks.

Gibbs replied: “We byke.”

“I be letting a lot of n****z breathe The Lord’s good oxygen and they still wanna pop it like they not privileged,” Gibbs continued in another tweet.

Gibbs and Akademiks have a history of trading shots dating back to 2020 when Akademiks called Gibbs “irrelevant.”

With the NBA season underway, the G-League is beginning to go through training camp and tryouts. Many players are vying for a spot in the minor leagues which could eventually lead to a spot on an NBA roster. The Warriors have plenty of solid recruits on its G-League team, and recently, they had a surprise guest at one of the tryouts.

This guest was Jonathan Amey Jr. who is actually one of the Warriors’ security guards who always greets the players as they come into the arena. He doesn’t have much high-level basketball experience, however, Steph Curry encouraged him to try out. In a recent article from the Associated Press, Curry explained just how great of a person Amey is, and how it was important to encourage him to try and live his dream.

Per Curry:

“He’s a constant figure when you’re coming out of the building. It speaks about how encouraging, motivating and unifying basketball is for him to go put himself out there, go out for a tryout. He said his jumper needed some improvement. He’s a little self critical but we gave him the confidence to keep trying and keep his attitude high. I like the fact that he put himself out there because it’s no easy task. So, shoutout to Jonathan.”

While Amey didn’t make the cut, his story is still a pretty inspiring one. Not everyone would have the guts to put themselves out there like that, and in the end, Amey got the experience of a lifetime while receiving pointers from bonafide legends.

Wale detailed his decision to leave Roc Nation earlier in his career, during a recent interview for the podcast Drink Champs. The Folarin 2 rapper explained that finances played a major role in his choice.

“I was in the Hov cypher for a long time, and there was a time that I was on tour with J. Cole and at this point, I was opening for him,” Wale said. “And somebody in my circle was like, ‘You’re losing like 5 grand every time you go on stage. You’re losing money.’ I couldn’t make sense of it. I just really had a meltdown. And I remember, I just quit the tour. It’s been all love since. … I learned a lot from them. And Jay is still my idol.”

At the time, Wale had said that the company’s decision to move into sports management played a role in his decision-making as well.

Later in his Drink Champs interview, Wale spoke about his relationship with Young Thug. The DMV rapper revealed that he attempted to sign Thug after they first met, knowing that he was someone special right away.

“I knew what he was going to be,” Wale said. “Some n***as you just can’t afford. That n***a knew what he was going to do. He already knew [his value]. But one thing I’ve always said about him is he’s really a loyal person. No matter what, he always shows love. That’s why my appreciation for him as a friend and an artist is immense.”

Today is officially Halloween which means we will be seeing plenty of great looks and costumes throughout the day. Starting yesterday, many celebrities and athletes began to post their Halloween costumes on social media, and it was great to see all of the creativity that had been going around. When you’re rich, it’s typically easy to nail your costume as you can get something that is as realistic as possible.

Some costumes, however, are less expensive than others. If you already kind of look like your costume, then really all you need is the wardrobe. For Aaron Rodgers, that was his exact strategy this year as he kept his costume both simple and recognizable.

As you can see in the Instagram post below, Rodgers decided to dress up as John Wick who is played by none other than Keanu Reaves. Rodgers has been growing out his hair and beard as of late, and there is no doubt that this look gives off some John Wick vibes. He even got his dog involved in the costume so that he could recreate an iconic scene from the movies.

Just like many other costumes so far, fans were pretty impressed with what Rodgers pulled off, and it’s great to see the Packers quarterback getting into the spirit of Spooky Season.

Every single year, LeBron James looks to one-up himself with Halloween costumes. From Edward Scissorhands to Pennywise, LeBron knows how to put a good costume together. It can be incredibly difficult to improve from year to year, especially when you have set the bar so high in the past. Regardless, just like many of his fellow celebrities, LeBron went all in last night, as he hoped to impress some of his fans on social media.

As you can see in the Instagram post down below, LeBron went as Freddy Krueger from Nightmare On Elm Street. The costume was pretty true to the original character, and the details in the face were quite impressive. At this point, it’s clear that LeBron knows all of the right people to get his costumes from.

“‘Sticks And Stones May Break My Bones But Nothing Will Ever Kill Me’ SWEET DREAMS,” LeBron wrote in his IG caption. As you can see from all of the comments, fans were quite impressed with what he had to put together here. Halloween may be coming to a close, but there’s still plenty of time to celebrate the iconic looks that people came up with this year, including Hailey Bieber, who channeled Britney Spears for four incredible costumes. On October 30th, the 24-year-old model uploaded a photo dump to her Instagram page paying tribute to the legendary pop star.

“Happy Halloweekend,” the caption reads. “The first concert I ever went to was the queen @britneyspears and I’ve been shook ever since,” she wrote, followed by a string of heart and pumpkin emojis.

The first look that Hailey recreated is easily the most recognizable, stemming from Britney’s debut “…Baby One More Time,” music video. The pictures see the starlet posing in schoolgirl garb, fuzzy pink bands wrapped around her braided pigtails. In the third slide, she can be seen flirtatiously twirling a pen about as she looks into the camera.

Next on the list is the skin tight red rubber jumpsuit look from the “Oops!…I Did It Again” music video, featuring an ultra high, ultra sleek ponytail with a side-parted bang. After that comes the “Gimme More” singer’s Rolling Stone magazine cover (snapped by David LaChapelle), which sees Hailey wearing some itsy bitty pyjamas while talking on the phone and holding a teletubby.

Last, but certainly not least on the list of iconic costumes is Britney’s barely-there “I’m a Slave 4 U” look. For this one, the Arizona native went for a still-wet middle parted look with her hair, an unmissable smokey eye, and plenty of bangles on her arm. Her outfit is bright pink, and highlights her abs perfectly.

Shortly after LL Cool J received his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, “4:44” rapper Jay-Z also took the stage. The father of three was inducted by former president Barack Obama and controversial comedian Dave Chapelle during a ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio this evening.

Hov’s introduction video was packed with plenty of famous faces, including his wife Beyoncé, Chris Rock, Diddy, Samuel L. Jackson, LeBron James, and more. Following that came a pre-recorded message from Obama, who had plenty of kind words to share about Shawn Carter.

“I’ve turned to Jay-Z’s words at different points in my life, whether I was brushing dirt off my shoulder on the campaign trail, or sampling his lyrics on the Edmund Petty’s Bridge on the 50th anniversary of the Selma march to Montgomery,” the 60-year-old said. “Today, Jay-Z is one of the most renowned artists in history and an embodiment of the American dream, a dream he has helped make real for other young people like him.”

After the former president’s message, Chappelle took the stage to share a few words. He began his speech by saying, “I would like to apologize–I’m just f*ckin’ with you,” seemingly alluding to the ongoing drama surrounding his recent Netflix original, The Closer.

“It is an incredible honor to induct this next man into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. But I need everybody in rock’n’roll to know, that even though you are honoring him, he is ours. He is hip-hop. For ever and ever, and a day,” he told the audience, before going on to talk about the obvious impact that Jay-Z and others in his league have had on the culture.

During his speech, Hov paid his dues to the people that helped him become the man that he is today. “Shout out to Dame [Dash]; I know we don’t see eye to eye, but I can never erase your accomplishments, and I appreciate you and thank you for that. And shout out to [Kareem] ‘Biggs’ [Burke]; he’s one of the most honorable people I’ve ever met. We created something that will probably never be duplicated.”

Over the past few days, Hip-Hop fanatics from all over have been hanging out in New York City, enjoying performances at Rolling Loud. This year’s lineup included names like 50 Cent, J. Cole, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Jack Harlow, and more. Unfortunately, as is the case with most festivals, some artists no-showed their set, including OTF Founder, Lil Durk.

A tweet posted by XXL Magazine shows a huge crowd of angry fans, some of whom began hurling their water bottles in the direction of the stage after they figured out that the “Laugh Now Cry Later” artist wouldn’t be performing.

The video has received plenty of responses from upset fans. “Not gonna lie I been a Durk fan for a minute but since he got his fame the past year the way he doing crowds is kinda weird especially after the last few concerts where he straight up said he wasn’t feeling the energy. Like he get paid extra for a good vibe,” one person wrote.

A patron of the festival provided a better view of the stage being hit with bottles and added, “@lildurk could of at least had his people say something came up.”

Other comments pointed out that Durk may have avoided Rolling Loud after hearing about Fetty Wap’s arrest that took place on festival grounds. The “My Way” rapper was charged, along with five others, for the distribution of over 100 kilograms of heroin and fentanyl, and never made it to his set as a result.

A different possibility is that The Voice is avoiding the spotlight until the controversy surrounding his crew member, Doodie Lo dies down. Lil Durk has been receiving a lot of backlash for failing to address allegations that Doodie sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend’s 5-year-old son with screws.

Latto isn‘t hesitating to step on necks this Halloween season. Yesterday, the 22-year-old debuted her first costume of the weekend – a tribute to Mariah Carey – and today, she dropped off another iconic homage, this time to legendary model Naomi Campbell.

In a photo posted to her Instagram page, the “Muwop” rapper can be seen scantily clad, wearing a thong, a barely-there bra, a fur around her arms, and a head warmer while holding up a vintage telephone. The picture is meant to channel the energy of Campbell on the cover of Playboy from December of 1999, wearing a nearly identical outfit.

The original magazine cover has headlines like “Naomi Campbell Incredibly Nude,” “The Search For Playmate 2000: Did We Find Her?,” and “City Girls Oral Sex, Wild Talk: They Are Hot And They Are Out There.” Latto kept much of the original text, only subbing out the model’s name for her own, and switching the background colour from bright green to a more subtle blue shade.

“Pretty mama,” DaniLeigh commented. “Ohhhhhhh they said what now??????? Lemme find out this turning out to a Lattoween series,” an excited fan account wrote, praising the rapper for slaying 2/2 of her Halloween looks.

It’s safe to say that our industry icons understood the assignment when it came to Halloween this year. Lizzo has been receiving praise from all over Twitter for her comedic portrayal of Baby Yoda, and Chloe Bailey has fans thirsting over her sexy take on Angelina Jolie’s character in the 2004 animated film, Shark Tale.
