You’d be forgiven for being over Diddy and Yung Miami’s back-and-forth over whether they’re actually in a relationship or not. After all, the couple has played coy over the past year, with Diddy announcing a new baby, then going Instagram official after New York’s Eve; meanwhile, Miami just recently told The Cut that Diddy is “not my man.” Then, two weeks later, they showed up on the carpet together at the 2023 Met Gala, where Diddy told reporters that the two are “dating.”
In a video posted to Instagram by Vogue, Diddy appears to finally admit to the couple’s actual status. “Caresha [and I], we’re dating and we’re just enjoying ourselves,” he said. “This is what comes with dating me. Sometimes, we gotta hit that red carpet.”
So, there it is: Diddy and Yung Miami are “dating” again, but also “single” and “good friends.” I’ll let you figure out whatever the hell that means.
As confusing as the couple’s situation has been, it doesn’t appear that fans will ever get enough of watching them like hawks — and commenting on each new tidbit that gets revealed, from Diddy’s unexpected new baby to Miami’s admission that she likes golden showers. While the latter reveal sparked a “Pee Diddy” meme, Miami shut down those rumors herself later — but given all Diddy’s sex advice for James Corden during his appearance on Carpool Karaoke, it’s clear that he and Miami entertain each other as much as they do their overeager fans.
According to Yung Miami, she and Diddy pulled the plug on their situationship some time ago. Still, that didn’t stop the father of seven and the City Girl from attending this year’s Met Gala together. During their trip down the red carpet, the duo was faced with some awkward questions about their current status. Their responses have since been making rounds online. Some fans initially expressed pride in Caresha for walking away from a relationship that was no longer serving her. However, others were just as quick to bash her for publicly stepping out with Sean Combs again.
“Caresha is a publicly claimed and cared for courtesan,” one Twitter user wrote after seeing her and Diddy in their luxurious looks. “I need the collective to revamp their understanding of that role and how influential and powerful it is instead of trying to force her and Diddy into a box they themselves don’t want to be in.” This post in particular has been getting plenty of attention, including a response from Love & Hip-Hop star Raqi Thunda. She clearly doesn’t have as much admiration for Yung Miami.
L&HH Cast Member Raqi Thunda Shades Yung Miami
“She is an ambassador for Deleon and contracted to at least five more episodes on REVOLT,” the reality starlet wrote back. “It’s business with a side of golden showers,” Thunda shadily added. She was obviously referencing the rap diva’s confession to enjoying being urinated on during sex on an episode of Caresha Please. “That’s ok if that’s what she wants. Let’s not romanticize it any more than what it is,” her bitter message ended.
Once Yung Miami herself got wind of the hate, she addressed it directly in the comment section of a blog post reporting on the tea. “I want a bitch to stop speaking on me fa me!!!!” she begged, making it clear that she’s more than capable of telling her own truth. Do you think the “Twerkulator” rapper could be called a modern-day courtesan? Let us know in the comments, and tap back in later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.
Last year, when Yung Miami had Megan Thee Stallion on her show Caresha Please, the City Girl and the Houston Hottie set fans’ antennae buzzing as they shamelessly flirted their way through their interview. “I like what I like,” Megan told Miami in response to whether Thee Stallion “likes girls.” “I like you.”
Now, it appears that the feeling is mutual, as a clip from Miami’s upcoming interview with gossip site Hollywood Unlocked found her confirming her own bisexuality and admitting that she’d “smash” Megan during a game of “Smash Or Pass.” “I really do like girls,” Miami said, although she also added, “I don’t want to be in a relationship with girls.” When asked about Meg, Miami replied enthusiastically, “I’ma smash. All day and tomorrow. Megan just give me… Like, she really can take me up and throw me down.”
The interview wasn’t the first time that Miami made overtures to her fellow rappers. Megan found Miami’s 2021 song “Rap Freaks” highly amusing as she made passes at a number of MCs, from Lil Durk to Diddy. “Diddy, let me put it in your face like them roaches / And put your rich ass to sleep, buenas noches,” she rapped, sending Meg into uproarious laughter in a video on Instagram.
Miami’s bedroom proclivities continue to be a source of fascination for rap fans. Earlier this year, she admitted to being into “golden showers,” prompting fans on social media to coin the nickname “Pee Diddy” for her then-beau. However, she recently shot down that rumor while also revealing that the couple had broken up — which didn’t stop them from appearing together at the Met Gala earlier this week.
Miami’s full interview with Hollywood Unlocked goes live at 5 pm ET here.
Yung Miami is not one to hold her tongue about anything. She keeps it real on all occasions. Not only that the City Girls rhymer is no stranger to making headlines. Whether it’s about her upcoming City Girls album with her other half JT, or addressing controversy regarding her relationship with Diddy, she’s in the headlines. Recently, during an interview with Hollywood Unlocked with Jason Lee she spoke on her sexuality and potential bedroom partners (hypothetically).
Additionally, Yung Miami confirmed that she was bisexual and was down to sleep with Megan Thee Stallion. The rap star opened up about her sexuality in a quick fire round of “Smash or Pass” with Jason Lee. Moreover, she revealed to the host that she’s been intimate with another woman before and she enjoyed it thoroughly. When the Houston Hottie’s name came up in “Smash or Pass,” Yung Miami didn’t pull any punches and said Meg could have her way with her. However, the “Act Up” rapper’s intimate attraction to her own sex only goes as far as the bedroom.
Yung Miami Is Down To Smash Megan The Stallion
Yung Miami expressed that she isn’t interested in dating other women, but she’s cool with having bedroom relations. “I’ma smash all day and tomorrow,” said the one half of City Girls when asked if she would “smash or pass” Meg. “She really can, like, take me up and throw down,” Miami detailed further. Furthermore, when Lee asked her if she’s been intimate with other women she replied: “Um hum. Yeah, I always say that. I really do like girls. I don’t wanna be in a relationship with a girl.” You can check out the clip above.
Moreover, this isn’t the first time Yung Miami has had flirty words with Tina Snow. Meg Thee Stallion has made an appearance on Miami’s podcast on REVOLT Caresha Please last year. Additionally, she referred to Meg as her “girlfriend,” and said, “I wanna f*ck Megan bad.” Despite her interest in women she’s yet to completely abandon men. She was recently spotted with Diddy at the 2023 Met Gala on Monday (May 1st), whom she’s had an open relationship with for two years. Let us know what you think about all of this. Do you want to see a collab with Yung Miami and Meg Thee Stallion?
In an exclusive clip from a new interview on The Jason Lee Show, Yung Miami makes it clear she wants no part in any beef. However, if she has to stand behind her people, she will. The City Girls rapper sat down with the host to chat about the state of women’s rap. In the interview, Lee asks Miami what she thinks the reason might be for there being so much drama between female rappers. After thinking about it for a second, the rapper says she really isn’t sure. “I don’t even know,” she begins. “I be at home with my kids, ugly with a bun and all. I don’t even get into that. But I really don’t know.”
Yung Miami goes on to say that she thinks things would be better if female rappers supported each other. “I feel like it would be so much [more fun] if everybody could just be together,” she says. “We could bring each other out on shows and just link up. I feel like bad b*tches should really link up. That would be dope if everybody could just… bring their personalities together.” It’s no surprise that Yung Miami feels this way as she is in the rap duo City Girls with fellow MC JT.
Yung Miami Won’t Hesitate To Get Involved If She Has To
Jason Lee goes on to mention how things seemed friendlier between female rappers in the 90s. “That’s how it was in the 90s… You had so many women who were just doing their thing, and then when they linked up it was a good time,” he says. Now, however, he says that many times you have to take accountability for things your friends or industry peers say. “Because you are in a group, do you ever feel accountable for things that maybe JT is involved with?” Lee asks Miami. “Like if you do something or even maybe just say something random and somebody takes it some way, then she gets held accountable… Do you feel like there’s a part of that?”
Yung Miami makes it clear that she will stand behind her friends, regardless. “I feel like I really don’t care because I’m gonna stand behind her…” the rapper says. “If she says something and I’ve gotta stand on it, I’m gonna stand on it because that’s my b*tch. We a group.” At least JT can rest easy knowing that Yung Miami has her back if any new feuds arise. What do you think of Miami’s view on beef in female rap? Let us know in the comments below! The Jason Lee Show will premiere tonight at 10 PM EST. Moreover, episodes will air every Tuesday at the exact same time.
Miami-based hip hop duo City Girls has been making waves in the music industry since their “Act Up” debut in 2018. One of the key factors contributing to the Quality Control artists’ success has been their impressive collaborative efforts. The ladies responsible for Miami-Dade’s musical revival blessed Megan Thee Stallion with braggadocio bars on “Do It On The Tip.” The 2022 track went on to chart at No 92. Other popular joint records include their “Shisha” feature on the bounce-heavy Saucy Santana track and “Female Goat” with labelmate Lakeyah.
From Cardi B to Usher, City Girls have shared the mic with some of the biggest in the game to produce hits. Now, fans await more feature-riddled anthems from the two after they previewed a new single at Rolling Loud California. Recently, Yung Miami said their forthcoming project is “gonna hit different.” Revisit their hottest collabs the beauties have blessed us with as we await yet another City Girl Summer.
Released in 2020, “Flewed Out” celebrates the luxurious lifestyle City Girls and Lil Baby have attained through their music careers. The lyrics center around the theme of being “flewed out”: getting flown out to exotic locations and indulging in high-end shopping and dining experiences. The City Girls’ verses are filled with confidence and sass. Lil Baby’s offering provides contrast with his more laid-back flow. The term “flewed out” became one of the most popular phrases for months following the single’s release.
City Girls tapped rapper and singer Doja Cat for “Pussy Talk,” the lead single off their highest-charting album, 2020’s City On Lock. The Southside-produced track sees the artists trading verses about their sexual prowess and independence with an equally colorful visual. The title refers to their frank and explicit lyrics about sex and power dynamics. Those bars were delivered with the utmost confidence from all three. Overall, “Pussy Talk” is a bold and assertive anthem that celebrates female sexuality and empowerment. It showcases the unique and distinctive styles of City Girls and Doja.
“Said Sum (Remix)” Moneybagg Yo ft. City Girls & DaBaby (2020)
Moneybagg Yo’s “Said Sum” is arguably one of the Memphis rhymer’s most viral songs. It gained significant traction on social media and streaming platforms through the beginning of the pandemic lockdown. This led to a remix with City Girls and DaBaby, who contributed their signature styles to the track with bold, unapologetic verses about financial independence. The track’s infectious piano riff creates the perfect backdrop for calling out those who try to dim the rappers’ lights. Additionally, fans of City Girls songs have also called JT’s verse on the remix one of the best in her career as she switches up her flow.
“Good Love” ft. Usher (2022)
The ladies bring Miami heat to Atlanta with this Freaknik-inspired single. Yung Miami and JT trade flirtatious verses with R&B legend Usher on “Good Love,” sampling Lathun’s 1997 hit “Freak It.” The Georgia native’s smooth vocals balance out City Girls’ explicit bars as they talk to potential prospects. Yung Miami even echos Uncle Luke’s unforgettable “Don’t stop, get it, get it” line from 91’s “I Wanna Rock.” The accompanying music video was filmed at Atlanta’s iconic Cascade Skating Rink, adding another nostalgic touch to the party tune.
Relative Atlanta newcomer BRS Kash flooded the airwaves with his fast-spreading track “Throat Baby (Go Baby)” with DaBaby. The song catapulted even more once City Girls hopped on the remix nearly six months later. The women’s sultry, suggestive lyrics shocked listeners as they boasted about their oral performance skills, adding another XXX-rated singalong to their racy catalog. City Girls’ feature premiered on Kash’s debut mixtape, Kash Only, to the praise of many-including rapper Boosie. After its release, the Louisiana hip-hop vet alerted fans that she “made the rawest line on the remix.”
“Top Notch” ft. Fivio Foreign (2022)
City Girls’ “Top Notch” followed the monumental success of 2021’s “Twerkulator.” It also sees the girls in the concrete jungle for their second collab with a New York native. The duo teamed up with Fivio Foreign for the bop, making it their first release of 2022. It also marked their first with the Brooklyn spitter. “Top Notch” was the start of a new era for Miami and JT, who appeared on the drill-infused beat with intense attitude as they warn their haters to steer clear. Though the single didn’t reach much commercial success, fans of the women praised the two for their versatility.
“Twerk” ft. Cardi B (2018)
Contestably in City Girls’ Top 5, “Twerk” grew to become their second-highest charting song on the Billboard Hot 100. The sexual innuendos on the “Choppa Style”-sampled hit were celebrated by wxmen galore during their inaugural City Girl summer. After Yung Miami raps, Cardi B reflects on nights as a dancer in her verse, with an extra assist in the NSFW music video. Yung Miami and Cardi flaunt their derrières in animalistic body paint amongst other talented dancers while JT served the remainder of her federal prison stint. “Twerk” peaked at No. 29 shortly after and eventually became certified platinum.
Sukihana has been in the headlines recently for a host of weird reasons. Most recently, she and Lil Mama got into it on social media. The two had an argument about NLE Choppa’s new music video, in which Sukihana made an appearance. Lil Mama accused the rapper of setting black women back “centuries” because of her role in the video. The whole disagreement began when Choppa shared a photo from his “Slut Me Out” remix video shoot. It showed Sukihana and Sexyy Red on all fours like dogs with Choppa leading them by the hair. Lil Mama reportedly wrote a comment under Choppa’s post, which she later deleted, prompting Sukihana to express her thoughts on Twitter.
“They said the girl ‘lil mama’ that sing that lip gloss song was in the comments speaking on me. If I was y’all I would tell her leave me tf alone,” Sukihana tweeted after the incident. Lil Mama was quick to respond and let Suki know exactly why she made the comment in the first place. “I know we don’t know each other personally… You could of been any Blacc woman in that video I posted a comment under. The way I feel still stands,” Lil Mama said in her reply. “I feel like women these days will know BETTER and still play a role in setting us bacc centuries. The only reason I deleted my comment was because I didn’t want to offend you and anyone else partaking in this disturbing clip.” Well, Lil Mama better buckle up because Sukihana just made some even more “disturbing” comments in a new interview on The Jason Lee Show.
Sukihana Channels Brenda Meeks
In a new clip from Sukihana’s interview, host Jason Lee was left absolutely speechless. Referencing Yung Miami’s previous comments about liking golden showers, the rapper said, “I feel like Yung Miami. I love when a n*gga p*ss on me.” There was a very pronounced silence after she said this, but Sukihana made it clear that she thinks many women are just afraid to speak out about what they like. “That was real b*tch. Y’all h*s scared to talk about what the f*ck you like because you so worried about what these b*tches gone think.” Jason Lee simply stares with his mouth open in shock as the rapper speaks about her kinky streak. Unfortunately for him, Sukihana was nowhere near finished.
“Baby, if you p*ss on me, make sure you get my hair done after,” the rapper continued. Then, she looked directly into the camera to speak her piece. “P*ss on me. P*ss in my mouth. Let me p*ss on his mouth. Fart in your face. I wanna sh*t on top of your hair and rub it in.” Some commenters on the post pointed out how Sukihana seemed to be channeling Regina Hall’s Scary Movie character Brenda Meeks. In the film series, the character famously says a similar line. Whether or not the rapper meant it as a callback is unknown. One thing is for certain, she isn’t holding anything back. What do you think of Sukihana’s preferences? Sound off in the comments.
Yung Miami needs zero help making headlines. However, it’s not her hit talk show Caresha Please that has fans raving. Although her talk show has made for many memorable moments. From talks of golden showers from music moguls to light-hearted chats with Meaghan The Stallion, it’s easy to see how Yung Miami can’t stay out of the headlines. This time around the one half of City Girls has come out in an interview with The Cut discussing things fans have been dying to know. In the interview Yung Miami confirmed that the album would be dropping this summer, but kept the exact release date on the hush-hush.
When asked about the album’s release, Miami responded in classic City Girls fashion, “I don’t know like, it’s coming and it will sometime this summer-for real, for real, for real.” She continued, “When you’re doing a project, takes time. We’re trying to sit through it and make sure that’s what we want to put out. It’s gonna hit different.” Not only that she initially cleared that air confirming that her relationship with Diddy has ended along with clarifying her “golden shower” comments that had “Pee Diddy” trending on the internet. Yung Miami told the publication that she never said Diddy was the one she did it with but mentioned that sex is a part of life. Although, she did admit that maybe she does talk about it too much, but hey everyone’s got their own experiences.
Yung Miami Talks New Album And More With The Cut
Fans have been waiting eagerly and somewhat patiently for a new City Girls album. Especially after their stellar performance at the 2023 Dreamville Festival. Furthermore, the premier of their docuseries RapCaviar Presents, on Hulu aired on March 30th stirring up even more buzz for the rap duo. The CityGirls are scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud Miami on July 22nd. Fans are speculating that will be when Yung Miami and JT make their return.
Yung Miami kept a tight lip on the exact release day, teasing, “Girl, I ain’t even gonna tell.” Evidently, it’s clear that the City Girls are taking their time with their new album. However, she says it’s the best representation of their music and their brand. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait like the rest of us. But Yung Miami promises this record’s going to “Hit Different” which is more than enough assurance for fans patiently waiting. Have you peeped Yung Miami’s interview? Let us know if you’re excited for the new City Girls album in the comments below.
