Joe Budden & Mouse Jones Exchange Heated Words
Tension is brewing on Twitter between Mouse Jones and Joe Budden. These two have had heated discussions in the past, so to see this exchange isn’t much of a surprise to those keeping track. Things kicked off after Jones tweeted a harsh criticism of Budden and Noreaga. “NORE & How Budden are two of the dumbest n*ggas on God’s green earth,” Jones wrote. The message wasn’t lost on Budden.
He replied, “That’s hate. And you don’t fight well enough for this.” Quickly, their followers tapped in and began firing off their own commentary. Mouse gave a simple response: “Prove it.” Budden then brought up an altercation involving Jones and seemingly threatened to release proof.

“I have the video of you and some other loser attempting to fight over a girl,” wrote Budden. “Literally the worst fight ever recorded. Pls don’t make me monetize off you. Stay blessed.” Jones didn’t take the jab lightly, and he threw a few verbal fisticuffs of his own. He mentioned the domestic violence accusations that have haunted Budden’s career.
“Josephy, you’re 50yrs old & have never won a fight,” said Jones. “We can ask @Union_N_Jackson to discuss when he f*cked you up. Stop playing with me. You only win fights with women. The internet flunkies are fooled, thats it. You talkin to me. Literally, all your greatest hits are women.”
It doesn’t look as if Budden issued a response. His ex-girlfriend Tahiry Jose previously alleged that he was violent during their relationship, which lasted for several years before they broke up in 2013. “I’ve been beaten before,” she said during an interview. “He hit me on that nose, then pushed me down a flight of stairs.”

There was also speculation about Budden’s relationship with Cyn Santana. The pair share a child and were even engaged, but they eventually split. Madonna’s appearance at the 2023 Grammy Awards on Sunday night left many fans online confused. Madonna was present at the ceremony to introduce Kim Petras and Sam Smith. However, many fans on Twitter took note of her face looking different than usual.

Her collaboration with Sam Smith, “Unholy,” notched them the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. During her acceptance speech, Petras took the time to thank Madonna for fighting for LGBTQ rights. She also gave a shoutout to the late musician Sophie.

Madonna’s appearance at the 2023 Grammy Awards comes ahead of her 35-city tour, later this year. Offset Denies Fighting Quavo Backstage At The Grammys
As rumors begin to float around that tension still exists between Offset and Quavo, the “CODE” rapper cleared the air. New reports alleged that the two got into an altercation backstage at the Grammys, just before Quavo hit the stage to pay tribute to Takeoff. Offset took to Twitter where he flat-out denied fighting with his “brother.” “What tf look like fighting my brother [y’all] n***as is crazy,” he tweeted.
The initial reports from TMZ alleged that Quavo prevented Offset from joining him on stage during the In Memoriam segment at the Grammys. Apparently, the Recording Academy asked Offset to join Quavo during his performance of “Without You.” However, the reports alleged that Quavo blocked him from appearing on stage. From there, the two were alleged to have gotten into a physical altercation that resulted in the two of them being pulled apart from one another.
It’s been a morning filled with headaches for Offset. Not only was he subject to rumors of fighting Quavo, but he also had some words for J. Prince. During a recent interview on Million Dollaz Worth Of Game, Prince called out Offset for allegedly saying things behind the scenes. Ice-T Reacts To Getting Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame: “This Is A Trip”
Ice-T will be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, later this month. The legendary rapper reacted to the news on Twitter, Tuesday.
Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, explained the decision in a statement.
“Ice-T is a cultural icon and a success both in the music and television industries. His fans will be very excited to see their favorite performer placed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Martinez said.
She further added: “Ice’s star will be situated near the stars of music greats such as Thelonius Monk, Dizzy Gillespie, Luciano Pavarotti, Mama Cass Elliott, John Denver and Herbie Hancock, to name a few.”
When responding to the news, Ice-T reflected on the legal trouble he’s dealt with over the years in Hollywood.
“When I think about how many times I got arrested in Hollywood…. This is a trip,” he wrote on Twitter.
Ice-T will become the 11th hip-hop artist to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Other acts include Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, LL COOL J, Diddy, Ice Cube, Pharrell, Missy Elliott, as well as Queen Latifah. Overall, Ice-T will mark the 2,747th star.
On top of his work as a rapper, Ice-T has enjoyed a prolific acting career as well. He’s had roles in films like New Jack City, Johnny Mnemonic, and Sonic Impact. Additionally, he’s starred as Sergeant Odafin “Fin” Tutuola on Law & Order: SVU since 2000. The role has made him the longest-running male actor in TV history.
The unveiling ceremony for Ice-T’s star will be held on February 17.

Boosie Agrees With Young Scooter About Snitches Going On Tour
Boosie agreed with Young Scooter on Twitter, Monday, saying that rappers who snitch should all go on tour together and sell cheese at the concessions. Scooter had come up with the idea on his Instagram Story, earlier in the week.
“MOST YALL RAPPERS SHOULD GET WIT LIVE NATION AND DO A [rat emojis] TOUR,” Scooter wrote initially.

Boosie wasn’t the only rapper to agree with Scooter. When the post was recirculated by Akademiks, Symba commented, admitting that the lineup of the “tour would be [fire emoji].”
This is far from the first time Boosie has criticized artists for working with the law. He’s previously called on Funk Flex to ban Tekashi 6ix9ine from his radio show in response to his snitching. He also labeled Gunna a “rat” for accepting a plea deal for his involvement in the YSL RICO case.

Rihanna Reportedly Files “Fenty Kids” Clothing Line Trademark
Rihanna reportedly filed a trademark for a “Fenty Kids” clothing line, although that doesn’t mean she’s starting one anytime soon. However, the trademark does protect the name from use by other entities. Moreover, reports indicate that the star singer and upcoming Super Bowl halftime show performer filed on January 20th.
Furthermore, the motion describes the trademarked line as including “infant wear, swimwear, hats, underwear, footwear, leggings, socks,” and lots more. In fact, the patent even included baby bibs, booties, caps, and cloth diapers. While it seems hilariously exhaustive, you’d be surprised at how important it is to keep your patent affairs in order. Given Rihanna’s status, exposure, and variety of endeavors, she made a smart move.
Overall, the line’s products support a child from birth to toddler status, at least based on the described items. However, the trademark doesn’t mean that the “Diamonds” artist is guaranteed to launch a line in the future. In fact, it just means that other entities from infringing on the Fenty name.

DJ Jazzy Jeff Calls Out “The Source” For Not Knowing He’s A Real DJ
DJ Jazzy Jeff went back and forth with the Twitter page for The Source, Sunday, after the outlet joked about not knowing he is a real DJ. The Source says that the page was hacked, citing the fact that they’ve covered Jazzy Jeff’s work as a DJ before.
“Wait DJ Jazzy Jeff is a real DJ? Lol thought [that] was just his title on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” a since-deleted tweet from The Source read.
Jazzy Jeff responded to the tweet: “Yup. I saw that. WORD.”
The Source later explained: “NAH: YOU KNOW BETTER !!! THAT WAS SOME HACK SHIT. YOU BEEN IN THE SOURCE MANY TIMES AS A DJ !!! YOU KNOW BETTER KING — THIS IS NOT HOW WE TALK AT @THESOURCE – NAH !!!”
“Apologies again,” they further wrote. “We are trying to get to the bottom of how that crazy post hit our page. We at @TheSource of course have history and know @djjazzyjeff215 well, send him DJ rmessages and just wrote a Happy Bday article and posted it. This was weird. Peace & Love!”
Eventually, the two sides made amends, with Jazzy Jeff writing, “All good. No love loss. Let’s keep it moving.”
As a DJ, Jazzy Jeff worked as a member of DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince with Will Smith. They earned a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance in 1989 for “Parents Just Don’t Understand.” They won their second Grammy with the success of “Summertime” in 1992.
