Yung Miami Laughs Off People Hating On Her Rap Style

The City Girl hasn’t caught much of a break these days, but she continues to move forward with confidence. Yung Miami recently responded to people on Twitter criticizing her rap performance on the remix of Lola Brooke’s “Don’t Play With It.” Moreover, she hopped on Brooke’s track alongside Latto and delivered what many fans considered to be either heat or a heap of mediocrity. For example, one user tweeted at her with, “Don’t even say that you literally TOP 10 best female rappers out rn.” For this, and a few other comments, the 29-year-old had some confident and unfazed responses.

“Don’t know bout the best and all that but I be popping my s**t,” she replied to the comment above. Furthermore, she actually held back on talking placements and lists and focused on what she really cares about: giving her best performance possible and making something she’s proud of. In fact, that was the underlying sentiment of a lot of her tweets. “I know it’s popular to say I can’t rap but I ate that verse,” she said in a separate tweet with heart-surrounded smiley face emojis. “DONT PLAY WITH IT REMIX OUT NOW!!!”

Also, she continued her responses, even to people that had some slight praise and undercut it with a jab. “I love the confidence,” one tweeter began, “but it sound like you be having a lot of spit in your mouth. Either that or your tongue just BIG AF.” To that, Caresha responded with, “That’s my sound get used to it b***h.” Unfortunately, the “Act Up” collaborator also faced a lot of clowning for her performance on BMF. While it certainly isn’t a mind-blowing performance by any means, it’s still great to see someone primarily dedicated to music venture into other lanes. The nicest sentiment online was along the lines of “at least she tried,” which undercuts how much fun she clearly had with it.

However, her confidence clearly wasn’t enough to lessen the blow, as she went at people online and launched a lot of frustrated statements in response to hate. Still, all that said, she did get a notable defense from Method Man, who encouraged Miami to keep her head up. LeBron James Slams Media For Recent Injury Report

Over the last month or so, LeBron James has been out of the Los Angeles Lakers lineup with an ankle injury. However, the Lakers have actually been doing quite well. They have found themselves in a play-in spot and with a couple of more wins, they could very well be in the playoffs. Players like Austin Reaves are doing extremely well, as is Anthony Davis. Overall, Lakers fans are feeling pretty good about things, which is a welcomed change of pace from before.

Today, things got even better for the Lakers. This is because reporters like Adrian Wojnarowski and Shams Charania came out with some positive news about LeBron. They all stated that James had been evaluated and that he is on pace to return for the last three games of the season. Subsequently, Lakers fans were jumping for joy. After all, this would be a huge boost to their playoff chances. Although now, James himself is telling everyone to pump the breaks.

In the tweet above, James said that he was not evaluated. Moreover, he claims that he has yet to decide when he can come back. Fans Clown Gunna For All His Anti-Snitching Bars

He can’t catch a break, can he? Gunna just got clowned on social media, particularly Twitter, after a fan compiled many of his anti-snitching bars. Of course, given his plea deal in the YSL case, such lyrics ring particularly false in hindsight. Moreover, fans immediately started to joke around and blast the Atlanta rapper for his unfulfilled promises. However, many also pointed out that nobody knows how they’d act until they’re put in that position, so many the hate is undue. Still, despite Gunna’s previous claims that he refused to cooperate, courtroom videos and the industry’s reactions suggest otherwise.

For example, his name recently got censored on a Lil Keed track off his posthumous album, Keed Talk To ‘Em 2. For those of you curious to hear the cut and Wunna’s omission for yourself, it allegedly happened on the song “Hottest.” In addition, other rappers unfollowed him on social media and threw out apparent subliminal disses on song leaks. As such, it’ll be interesting to see where Gunna goes from here in the rap game, and how (or if) he recaptures his audience.

Still, according to DJ Akademiks, the “Drip or Drown” artist has a new album ready to drop. Not only that, but it’s reportedly unaffiliated from YSL and will be part of a new major record label deal. With that in mind, if he’s to continue his music career, it’ll likely take a much different shape. Sure, the style might be the same, but he already seemed to cut some ties. However, he did show love to Young Thug in his first IG post following his plea deal.

In addition, these rumors received a boost on Sunday (March 19) after a new song snippet surfaced online. Moreover, his friend and model Brittany Reshaun posted a short clip onto her Instagram story, In it, he seems to refer to YSL. “Heard the rumors said I’m packing up and flying out / We ain’t going nowhere I’m staying here, gone fight it out,” he raps. “I meant like f**k it / Let’s just give these n***as dark clouds / Been gone for months and I just keep seeing these dark clouds.” Overall, perhaps Gunna will never dodge snitch allegations and his YSL friendship-turned-beef. Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti are two of the biggest artists in hip-hop right now. Firstly, you have Uzi who has been teasing fans with a whole new project. Secondly, you have the enigmatic Carti who dropped Whole Lotta Red at the end of 2020. Overall, these two artists are at the top of their respective games. Moreover, they have collaborated with one another in the past. They even teased a joint album, however, it never actually came to fruition. Although now, Uzi is trying to revive some of that hype.

In a recent social media post, Uzi teased a new collab with Carti, saying that the two were ready to take over. Of course, this sent fans into a complete frenzy. Any time Uzi teases some new tracks, you know that he is going to start a commotion. When you add Carti into the mix, that only becomes expounded. While nothing has been confirmed in regard to their work together, fans have now been blessed with some leaks online. In fact, social media has been buzzing today with a 96-second snippet from the unreleased track “Sauce Real Hard.”

With this track, we get some pretty hard-sounding production. Moreover, it appears as though Uzi is the focal point of the track. Throughout the song, he gives a calculated yet repetitive flow that contains a lot of energy. Additionally, Playboi Carti’s contributions are actually quite unique as well. One could even say that the artist debuted a whole new flow on this track, which just adds to his mystique. It is simply too bad that we do not have an official mix or a longer version to consume.

For now, it is unknown where this leak came from. There is no indication if this came from a particular session, or if it is even new. Doja Cat Confirms Title Of Her Fourth Studio Album

Doja Cat kept fans on the edge of their seats for the release of her next album. Though the artist shared a few updates over the past few months, she hasn’t announced concrete plans for its release. However, she’s provided fans with some tidbits of information surrounding the direction she’ll be heading. Doja Cat described her next project as more “masculine.” She further explained that she pulled inspiration from genre-bending artists and groups like Death Grips and The Beastie Boys.

“If you wanted a teaser into what I’ve been thinking about, that’s what I’ve been on a lot. And just to make it clear, Beastie Boys is a huge inspiration to me,” Doja Cat explained. “Beastie Boys will hit you with hard, loud and crazy rap, but they’ll also hit you with real raw 90s punk, which I love, or smooth techno that feels sexy and sleek. And you’ll be like, ‘Where the f*ck did this come from?’” Even though she also suggested the next project would lean towards pop-punk, she’s apparently changed her tune.

Doja Cat hit Twitter with some brief updates on her next project including the title of her next opus. Without saying too much, she wrote, #Hellmouth on her Twitter page, which fans believe is the title of her next project. However, as fans inquired whether this one would have an alt-rock influence, she confirmed, “nope.” So, it looks like we’ll have to wait to find out exactly what she’s cooking up for DC4.

Beyond the supposed influence of 90s punk, Doja Cat hinted at a few other directions she might head in next. Though she expressed frustrations over the public’s doubts over her credentials as a rapper, she suggested she’ll heavily incorporate R&B elements will appear on the album. Near the end of February, after a string of unsurprisingly odd tweets, Doja Cat suddenly stopped posting on Twitter, leaving fans without her usual antics. This time last month, the Californian was posting about having someone come over to “f*ck [her] foot,” which left some threatening to unfollow her. On Monday (March 21), she returned to the platform, offering the world a few updates on what’s been happening in her life since we last heard from her. “Got my t*tties done and my cl*t bedazzled,” Doja wrote yesterday morning.

Since she uploaded the comedic tweet, the replies have filled with people attempting to match Doja’s energy, as well as obviously thirsty users begging to see what her new body looks like. “And your bootyhole shined,” someone in the former category wrote upon seeing the “Say So” singer’s post. “Pics or it didn’t happen,” another person, certainly in the latter group, responded to her big news.

In her usual fashion, Doja didn’t hold back on cracking a few jokes while answering questions from curious fans. “How are you feeling?” one person asked. “Four days into recovery rn,” she wrote back. “Feels ok. Elsewhere in the Twitter Q&A, the Grammy Award-winner confirmed that the results of her breast augmentation have left her with a cup size of 32C, which she says is smaller than the one she wore before. Doja Cat also took the time to clear up some misconceptions unfolding in her replies, explaining the difference between lipo and fat transfer to those who were uneducated. Jake Paul & KSI Trade Shots As Fans Pray For Grudge Match

Jake Paul is fresh off of a loss against Tommy Fury, and he is now figuring out what to do next. Mostly, there have been rumors that he will just fight Fury again in July. However, there are other fans out there who would rather see him fight someone new. Overall, there are plenty of people he could go up against. This includes the likes of KSI who is also a YouTuber who has ventured into boxing. In fact, these two have been teasing a fight against each other for a while, but nothing has actually ever materialized.

Recently, the two ended up engaged in a brief spat. This was all due to KSI’s string of tweets against combat sports reporter Wade Plem. In the now-deleted tweets, KSI went off on the reporter, claiming that he plays both sides and that he doesn’t know anything about boxing. Consequently, KSI got the attention of Jake Paul, who took to Twitter with some words for KSI. “Such insecure clowns. Wade is quality. Plays it down the middle,” Paul said. “Says things about me I don’t like, but that just means he’s keeping his opinions real. Blueface just took to Twitter to ask his presumably male fans to stop sending him nudes and explicit photos. Moreover, the Cali MC had tweeted that his hands are “bisexual.” Of course, he probably meant that he’s willing and able to throw hands with both sexes, as evidenced through his fights with on-and-off girlfriend Chrisean Rock. Like wtf is this that’s sexual harassment I ain’t sign up for this you can’t even dm me on here no more.” While it’s quite the comical situation, the context for his original tweet might be less jokingly received by many. After all, his controversial relationship with Rock is as scolded as it is shared online, which people have their own issues with.

Still, a lot of their big fights concerning Chrisean’s pregnancy and other large topics seem to have matched back up with the typical relationship fare. For example, the two recently scolded each other over laundry, with Blue calling Chrisean out for not doing it. Travis Scott & The Alchemist Collab Teased On Twitter

A simple Twitter Q&A with one of the funniest and most down-to-earth producers in the game led to some wild speculation. While answering fan questions on the social media platform, The Alchemist hinted at a potential Travis Scott collab. However, if you look at the actual question and response, it’s one interpretation of many. Moreover, a fan asked the legendary producer if he’s produced music for Travis Scott yet. When Al replied with a zipped-up mouth emoji, fans took it to mean that there’s some heat on the way. For what it’s worth, they’ve been pictured together, but it doesn’t look like they’ve released anything official together yet.

Of course, the California beatsmith didn’t answer yes or no, so any possible collaborations are still secret.
