Diddy has been facing a plethora of allegations as of late. Overall, it all started with the Cassie lawsuit which took place back in November of 2023. Subsequently, more lawsuits came to the forefront, with numerous women accusing the music mogul of rape, sexual assault, abuse, and more. Eventually, Federal authorities raided the mogul’s home just a couple of months ago. Since then, they have been putting together a diligent investigation, that has since led to the formation of a Grand Jury.

On top of all of this, Diddy is facing scrutiny online in the form of resurfaced videos. Fans have been digging through the archives and have found clips that speak to some of the things the mogul has been accused of. For instance, a clip from The Breakfast Club was going viral last night, and you can see the clip down below. In this clip, the artist speaks on his “25/75” rule that he applies to dating. Essentially, dating Diddy is great 75 percent of the time, but the other 25 percent can be a bit of a nightmare.

Jeopardy! is a funny way to see some pop culture crossovers that you may not have expected, especially for the hip-hop world. Moreover, a recent question had contestants scratching their heads, something they could’ve avoided if they just caught up on their New York rap radio more often. This was the prompt itself: “In 2024, Jess Hilarious joined this radio show with Charlamagne Tha God & DJ Envy.” Of course, unless you had no idea what this headline was about, we know this to be The Breakfast Club. But turns out that the legendary program might still have incentive to expand their reach and audience so that they truly become a household name.

Furthermore, those unfamiliar with The Breakfast Club that follow hip-hop casually have probably seen clips of it dozens of times without realizing. In fact, that goes for pop culture consumers in general, as there have been a lot of Twitter memes and the like that stem from Charlamagne, Envy, and now Jess Hilarious’ show. Another example is the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, which The Breakfast Club has done a great job of breaking down and analyzing from various standpoints. We’ll see what else happens this year that will warrant their undivided attention, and what other changes could occur to shift the show in another direction. After all, Angela Yee’s departure is sorely felt, and although Jess has added her own amazing dynamic to the program, fans wonder whether this is the end of the change. But we’re excited to see the current cohort continue to build rapport, get years of lore under their belt, and continue to fight negativity.

Meanwhile, The Breakfast Club will probably have a lot of other controversial or divisive moments as well. Diddy’s apology for the disturbing footage of him assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway is garnering a lot of shocked reactions from the hip-hop world and beyond. Moreover, The Breakfast Club recently expressed disgust at the clip itself and also discussed his apology video, which Charlamagne Tha God believes no one should take seriously. DJ Envy and Jess Hilarious agreed, and Charlamagne added his belief that Sean Combs is only sorry that the video came out, not for his actual actions. They brought up how the music mogul had denied any and all wrongdoing in the past, calling Cassie’s lawsuit a play for money.

Furthermore, The Breakfast Club, specifically Charlamagne Tha God, questioned why Diddy would double down and lie when he presumably knew that evidence existed of at least some crimes. Of course, many of the other claims against him are unconfirmed and have no evidential basis as of writing this article, something that we might have to see in a court of law. Elsewhere, the radio hosts also theorized where the video footage came from if Puff had paid $50K for it, as alleged. Also, Jess Hilarious expressed her belief that more videos will come out in the future, and agreed that the apology was only for his own ego and not to anyone in particular, instead showing how his behavior hasn’t changed all that much.

“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that,” Diddy’s apology kicked off. “I was f***ed up. I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help, I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”

Meanwhile, there is a whole wealth of pop culture reactions to this whole footage scandal. They range from vindictive to outraged. They talked about a recent freestyle she shared over a Gucci Mane song and discussed her upcoming Arena tour. That’s when they made the claim that she might not be an “arena artist” saying that while she’s high caliber she may not be there yet. Of course, fans hit back quickly. They pointed out that numerous shows on her arena tour have already sold out making her an arena artist basically by definition.

That’s why its no surprise that the show walked back on their comments about Megan. In a recent segment they retracted the claims sharing the evidence that was presented to them. Included in their claim is the fact that Megan has already sold out more than a dozen arenas in her upcoming tour. They even list the numerous venues in major cities, even including Madison Square Garden, that have sold out. Discussing the latest drama in the beef during Monday morning’s episode of The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne proclaimed that Lamar is currently winning. Lamar dropped “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us” over the weekend while Drake released “Family Matters” and “The Heart Part 6.”

Charlamagne began discussing the topic by giving both artists props. He added: “They both gave us what I believe to be the greatest rap battle I have ever witnessed, personally. The two best of their generation in their prime. Never had a rap battle given us this much music. Every time one of them drops, the other person answered and musically, I don’t think either one of them missed a beat. That was just my personal opinion but if you ask me who is up right now, it’s Kendrick. And it’s simply because his strategy has been better.
