Diddy Goes Viral With His “25/75” Dating Rule As Old “Breakfast Club” Clip Resurfaces Online

Diddy has been facing a plethora of allegations as of late. Overall, it all started with the Cassie lawsuit which took place back in November of 2023. Subsequently, more lawsuits came to the forefront, with numerous women accusing the music mogul of rape, sexual assault, abuse, and more. Eventually, Federal authorities raided the mogul’s home just a couple of months ago. Since then, they have been putting together a diligent investigation, that has since led to the formation of a Grand Jury.

On top of all of this, Diddy is facing scrutiny online in the form of resurfaced videos. Fans have been digging through the archives and have found clips that speak to some of the things the mogul has been accused of. “The Breakfast Club” Question On “Jeopardy!” Leaves Contestants Stumped

Jeopardy! is a funny way to see some pop culture crossovers that you may not have expected, especially for the hip-hop world. Moreover, a recent question had contestants scratching their heads, something they could’ve avoided if they just caught up on their New York rap radio more often. This was the prompt itself: “In 2024, Jess Hilarious joined this radio show with Charlamagne Tha God & DJ Envy.” Of course, unless you had no idea what this headline was about, we know this to be The Breakfast Club. But turns out that the legendary program might still have incentive to expand their reach and audience so that they truly become a household name.

Furthermore, those unfamiliar with The Breakfast Club that follow hip-hop casually have probably seen clips of it dozens of times without realizing. In fact, that goes for pop culture consumers in general, as there have been a lot of Twitter memes and the like that stem from Charlamagne, Envy, and now Jess Hilarious’ show. If you’re interested in checking them out more closely, you picked a very interesting time to do so. They have a lot of big stories to talk about in the rap game right now, including the Diddy scandal that is developing in ugly ways.

Jeopardy! Contestants Didn’t Know What The Breakfast Club Is

Another example is the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, which The Breakfast Club has done a great job of breaking down and analyzing from various standpoints. We’ll see what else happens this year that will warrant their undivided attention, and what other changes could occur to shift the show in another direction. After all, Angela Yee’s departure is sorely felt, and although Jess has added her own amazing dynamic to the program, fans wonder whether this is the end of the change. But we’re excited to see the current cohort continue to build rapport, get years of lore under their belt, and continue to fight negativity.

Meanwhile, The Breakfast Club will probably have a lot of other controversial or divisive moments as well. One of these was a pretty cringe-worthy Candace Owens appearance, and we have to give them grace to indulge in these more hot-button moments every once in a while. We’ll see what form those take in the future, whether it’s a wild guest or internal discussion. Who knows what could happen next to get them a Jeopardy! answer down the road?

Charlamagne Tha God Questions Diddy’s Honesty & Remorse In Apology Video

Diddy’s apology for the disturbing footage of him assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway is garnering a lot of shocked reactions from the hip-hop world and beyond. Moreover, The Breakfast Club recently expressed disgust at the clip itself and also discussed his apology video, which Charlamagne Tha God believes no one should take seriously. DJ Envy and Jess Hilarious agreed, and Charlamagne added his belief that Sean Combs is only sorry that the video came out, not for his actual actions. They brought up how the music mogul had denied any and all wrongdoing in the past, calling Cassie’s lawsuit a play for money.

Furthermore, The Breakfast Club, specifically Charlamagne Tha God, questioned why Diddy would double down and lie when he presumably knew that evidence existed of at least some crimes. Of course, many of the other claims against him are unconfirmed and have no evidential basis as of writing this article, something that we might have to see in a court of law. Elsewhere, the radio hosts also theorized where the video footage came from if Puff had paid $50K for it, as alleged. Also, Jess Hilarious expressed her belief that more videos will come out in the future, and agreed that the apology was only for his own ego and not to anyone in particular, instead showing how his behavior hasn’t changed all that much.

The Breakfast Club Speak On Diddy Footage & Apology

“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that,” Diddy’s apology kicked off. “I was f***ed up. I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help, I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”

Meanwhile, there is a whole wealth of pop culture reactions to this whole footage scandal. They range from vindictive to outraged. Diddy dropped his apology video but found a storm in its wake, and it’s unclear how the rest of this reckoning will proceed. Whether or not The Breakfast Club is correct on there being more evidence, this is already a pretty significant blow. Only time will tell what the solution will be.

They talked about a recent freestyle she shared over a Gucci Mane song and discussed her upcoming Arena tour. That’s when they made the claim that she might not be an “arena artist” saying that while she’s high caliber she may not be there yet. Of course, fans hit back quickly. They pointed out that numerous shows on her arena tour have already sold out making her an arena artist basically by definition.

That’s why its no surprise that the show walked back on their comments about Megan. In a recent segment they retracted the claims sharing the evidence that was presented to them. Charlamagne Tha God Retracts Megan Thee Stallion Comments

Megan Thee Stallion has been promising big things for 2024. She’s already dropped the single “HISS” where she took aim at numerous adversaries who have come for her in the past. Most notable was Nicki Minaj, whose response track “Big Foot” was massively panned by fans and critics alike. Megan followed that up by teaming up with GloRilla on the song “Wanna Be.” The song landed on Glo’s Ehhthang Ehhthang mixtape and debuted at number 11 on the Hot 100. It’s still lingering on the charts sitting at number 34 this week.

Just today Megan announced that the next single from her new album will drop later this week. Charlamagne Tha God Believes Kendrick Lamar & Drake’s Battle Is The Best He’s Ever Seen

Charlamagne Tha God says that Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s ongoing feud is the most interesting he’s ever witnessed. Discussing the latest drama in the beef during Monday morning’s episode of The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne proclaimed that Lamar is currently winning. Lamar dropped “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us” over the weekend while Drake released “Family Matters” and “The Heart Part 6.”

Charlamagne began discussing the topic by giving both artists props. He added: “They both gave us what I believe to be the greatest rap battle I have ever witnessed, personally. The two best of their generation in their prime. Never had a rap battle given us this much music. Every time one of them drops, the other person answered and musically, I don’t think either one of them missed a beat. That was just my personal opinion but if you ask me who is up right now, it’s Kendrick. And it’s simply because his strategy has been better. He dropped the ‘6:16’ record on Friday afternoon which caused Drake to drop ‘Family Matters’ Friday night and in no less than 30 minutes, Kendrick stepped on that record with his own record about Drake’s family, ‘Meet The Grahams.’ Then Kendrick turned around and did what we was waiting on Drake to do and that’s give us a diss bop. I gotta say Kendrick is up right now.”

From there, DJ Envy disagreed with Charlamagne, instead arguing that “The Heart Part 6” put Drake back in front because it discredited several of the points Lamar had been making until then. Charlamagne countered that had Drake actually fed Lamar false information, he would have receipts from doing so. Check out their full conversation about the feud below.

Charlamagne Tha God Goes Off On Kanye West, Reveals He’s Been Hating On Drake For Years

Charlamagne Tha God discussed Kanye West’s ongoing feud with Drake during the latest episode of The Breakfast Club. In doing so, he revealed the Vultures rapper has been hating on Drake for longer than fans may realize. In particular, he recalled one instance when Ye slammed Drake and Virgil Abloh during an interview years ago.

“Kanye West is the leader of the legion of lame,” Chalamagne began. “What a hating ass human. What type of man sits around and says we were all energized by the elimination of another man? This man is so miserable and has never dealt with whatever hurt and pain he’s feeling and he just wants to project it onto other people. I don’t even want Kendrick to respond no more. On ‘Like That,’ he clowned Drake and Cole for cliquing up. Don’t you be a part of the legion of lame, Kendrick. Future, you neither. Run from Kanye. Metro what are you doing? All of y’all should be running from Kanye West. Have you not read the 48 laws of power? Avoid the unhappy and the unlucky. You can die from somebody else’s misery. Kanye made the whole thing corny. It was entertaining until he brought his jealous, envious ass into the picture. So lame.”

Azealia Banks’ “Bussy Boy” Soap Piques Charlamagne Tha God’s Interest

Queen of controversy, Azealia Banks, is nearly always caught up in some internet beef with her fellow celebrities. Since Beyonce first announced her plans to take over country music, the New Yorker has been on her neck, bashing both the Houston native and her husband, Jay-Z. In recent days, Banks has turned some of her attention toward another female starlet – Doechii – who some think is one of the “212” hitmaker’s “sons,” or someone who takes direct inspiration from their elder’s discography and overall aesthetic.

The drama made its way to The Breakfast Club this week, where hosts Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Jess Hilarious broke down what’s been happening. For his part, Tha God took a special interest in one comment from Doechii, teasing Banks for selling “bussy boy” soap online instead of sharing new music. Though he’s a straight, married man, the radio host was still keen to get his hands on some of the rap diva’s $7 hygiene products.

“I just googled it, and I’m about to order two bars just because this is hilarious,” Tha God declared. “I know that’s right,” Hilarious chimed in. “Make that bussy beam, boy. Helps with irritation from friction due to anal sex, hemorrhoids, jock itch, and bacterial overload,” he read the product description out loud. Scent options include Boyberry Blue and Georgia Peach. “This is so funny, it says for that glazed donut hole effect,” Charlamagne laughed at the NSFW marketing.

Even though she and Doechii have been in the news for their social media spat, Azealia Banks still has more energy to pour into feuding with other artists. Earlier this week, British pop singer Lily Allen felt the rap diva’s wrath after the former shared some negative thoughts about Beyonce’s COWBOY CARTER LP. Banks has made it known that her feelings about the genre-bending project are similar, but still, she doesn’t think that Allen is the right person to offer criticism to a Black woman. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Charlamagne Tha God Offers Nuanced View Of J. Cole’s Kendrick Lamar Apology

Charlamagne Tha God is easily one of the biggest commentators in the hip-hop world. Overall, his work on The Breakfast Club has elevated him to superstar status. He has been able to host The Daily Show while also dabbling in late night. Although some people do not care for his takes, others love to watch him talk on various subjects. Last night, Charlamagne was given a whole lot to talk about as J Cole issued an apology to Kendrick Lamar. The apology was in relation to the diss track “7 Minute Drill.”

Throughout the morning, there have been numerous hot takes about the diss track. Most people are upset with Cole for deciding to end the feud before it even started. Additionally, some think that this is a sign that hip-hop is dying in terms of it being a competitive sport. However, Charlamagne Tha God has a different take on all of this. As you can see below, he is taking a very mature approach to the whole situation. Essentially, he doesn’t blame Cole for apologizing. In fact, he is praising him for knowing the error of his ways.

Charlamagne Tha God Says His Peace

Charlamagne has always been huge on therapy and self-reflection. Having said that, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he feels this way about J Cole. However, the average hip-hop fan is not having a good day right now. They are angry for the apology, and they were hoping for some more jabs. Whether or not Kendrick even returns fire with a diss track of his own, remains to be seen. Hopefully, we find out soon enough.
