Taylor Swift Fuels New Music Rumors By Linking Up With TDE Producer Sounwave

Taylor Swift does not stop. She’s been one of the hardest-working musicians of the 2020s. Between her new albums and the re-recording of her old albums, it’s any wonder she has time to tour. Things seemed to have cooled down after the less-than-stellar reaction to her last album, though. Swift hasn’t hinted at any new music, or announced re-recording plans. Her longtime producer, however, started cranking the rumor mill on September 18. Jack Antonoff posted a series of photos on Instagram, and one of them featured TDE producer Sounwave.

The black-and-white photo dump sees Taylor Swift, Jack Antonoff and Sounwave occupying the same studio space. Sounwave is alone in his photo, but the background make it clear as day that he was at the sessions being documented. The only real clue that fans have regarding the session is a time stamp with the date December 21, 2023 in the corner. This is a crucial piece of information. Taylor Swift dropped her last album, The Tortured Poets Department, in April. It would be easy to dismiss the photo of Sounwave as being from the Poets sessions, but the producer is not listed anywhere on the album’s credits.

Taylor Swift Worked With Sounwave On “Midnights”

The music that Taylor Swift and Sounwave made in December has not yet seen the light of day, which is why Swifties think there’s a new release around the corner. Jack Antonoff is very much a partner in crime when it comes to giving the fans clues. His posts are often teases of what’s to come, so the chances of a Sounwave photo meaning nothing are low. Besides, Sounwave has an established working relationship with both Antonoff and Swift. The TDE producer is part of the supergroup Red Hearse alongside Sam Dew and Antonoff. He’s also produced smash hits on multiple Taylor Swift songs dating back to 2019.

Sounwave is credited as a producer on Taylor Swift’s “Lover Boy.” His biggest contribution to the Swift catalog came in 2022, though. He is all over the pop star’s album Midnights, co-producing singles like “Lavender Haze” and “Karma.” This collaborative dynamic proved to be a two way street in 2024. The TDE veteran produced Kendrick Lamar’s diss song “616 In LA,” and he enlisted none other than Jack Antonoff to help him out. Given that Lamar’s opponent, Drake, had previously referenced Swift on the “Taylor Made Freestyle,” the link up seemed just as intentional as Antonoff’s new Instagram post.

Elon Musk Delivers Creepy Response To Taylor Swift’s Kamala Harris Endorsement

Last night, Elon Musk came under fire for a creepy response he had to Taylor Swift. Overall, this stemmed from Swift’s ringing endorsement of Kamala Harris for President of the United States. After watching the debate between Harris and Donald Trump, Swift took to Instagram where she revealed her plans for the election. She also addressed the AI Trump support memes, which she believes are extremely scary and deceiving. Below, you can read what she had to say about the current Vice President and her running mate, Tim Walz.

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” Swift wrote. “I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.”

Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Belted Out ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’ At The US Open Final

There are certain songs that resonate for everyone of a certain age. Among the tracks that stir up something deep inside for my age group, those in their early-to-mid 30s, is “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” by The Darkness.

There is something so engaging about the song that you can’t help trying to hit your highest falsetto on the chorus, and if you don’t believe me, just ask two of the most famous people of my age group — Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. With Kelce opening his season on Thursday with a Chiefs win over the Ravens, the couple was able to spend their weekend in New York to take some Fashion Week festivities and the U.S. Open. On Sunday, the two were in a box sipping on Honey Deuces for the men’s final that Jannik Sinner won over American Taylor Fritz, and during a break in action the Arthur Ashe Stadium DJ threw on “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” and Swift and Kelce (and plenty of others in the crowd) belted it out in a little impromptu karaoke session.

That is the appropriate level of commitment needed to sing along with The Darkness, as you can’t half-ass it when trying to hit those notes.

Megan Thee Stallion Is Hoping To Manifest A Taylor Swift Collaboration After Pointing Out Why It Makes Perfect Sense

Megan Thee Stallion is on a quest to collect as many collaborations as possible. The “Down Stairs DJ” rapper has already joined forces with several women in hip-hop including Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, GloRilla, and Latto.

But on the pop end, her resume is predominately men like BTS and its member RM. However, Megan Thee Stallion wants to change that. In an exclusive chat with People, Megan Thee Stallion revealed that she hopes to collaborate with global pop star Taylor Swift.

“I love Taylor Swift, and I would like to collab with her one day,” she said.

Although the revelation comes on the heels of Megan Thee Stallion’s Pepsi commercial cameo, which co-stars Swift’s beau, Travis Kelce, and other NFL players, she cited another reason as to why the hopeful track makes sense.

“She’s a stallion too, she’s a tall girl,” she said. “I love that. We would be so cute next to each other.”

Swift has worked with rappers in the past including most recently Ice Spice for “Karma Remix” and Kendrick Lamar on “Bad Blood,” so it isn’t impossible.

Still, users online aren’t sold on the idea. But Megan Thee Stallion has proven to deliver on her featured track and to pull the best out of those who jump on a song with her.

Travis Kelce Names His Favorite Song From Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour: ‘They’re All My Favorite’

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will begin their quest for their third Super Bowl in a row on Thursday night when they play host to the Baltimore Ravens. It’s unclear how much longer Kelce will be in the NFL, as the soon-to-be 35-year-old has flirted with the idea of retiring but signed a 2-year contract extension earlier this offseason.

Whenever he decides to hang them up, there will be no shortage of things for Kelce to do, whether that’s continuing his media career or just hanging out at Taylor Swift concerts. Kelce has been a fixture at Swift’s shows during The Eras Tour, and in a recent interview with CBS, he got asked what his favorite song is during his partner’s epic show. He decided to take, quite possibly, the most diplomatic route he could.

“I got a bunch of ’em, they’re all my favorite, they’re all my favorite, literally, every single one,” Kelce said. “You see me at a concert, you’ll see me singing ’em all.”

Kelce has been asked to pick his favorite songs by his partner in the past, and went with “Blank Space,” “Cruel Summer,” and “So High School.” I, for one, think that “Champagne Problems” is getting robbed here, but who am I to say?

Documents Highlighting Upcoming Breakup Between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Slammed as ‘Entirely False’

Travis Kelce Thinks the NFL is 'Overdoing It' with Taylor Swift

Ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ season-opening game against the Baltimore Ravens, Travis Kelce had to address an off-the-field issue. False documents attributed to his PR agency had fans questioning whether Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift was real.

The documents revealed plans for a breakup, which Full Scope Agency shut down. The documents were titled “Comprehensive Media Plan For Travis Kelce’s Relations Following Breakup with Taylor Swift.”

The agency called them “entirely false and fabricated.”

“These documents are entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency,” Full Scope said to PEOPLE.

Kelce will open the season at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Thursday (Sept. 5).

Patrick Mahomes Says Taylor Swift Has Started ‘Drawing Up Plays’ For The Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs were already an emerging dynasty coming into the 2023 season, with some immensely popular players among football fans, headlined by Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. However, once Kelce started dating Taylor Swift, they saw a whole new group of fans flooding in, as Swift’s extremely loyal (and massive) fan base became heavily invested in the Chiefs as they went on another Super Bowl winning run.

As the 2024 season gets set to start in Kansas City on Thursday night, with the Chiefs facing one of their top challengers in the AFC, the Baltimore Ravens, all eyes are on Mahomes, Kelce, and how Kansas City will begin another title defense. Among those watching will be Swift, as she and Kelce have become a serious couple, with Kelce a fixture at Swift’s Eras Tour shows in Europe, and even showing up on stage in London. When that happened, plenty of people (including myself) made the joke that Kelce has to return the favor and get Swift some snaps for the Chiefs, and while that won’t happen, it might not be all that far-fetched that Swift will have an impact on the field this season.

Patrick Mahomes recently sat down with NBC’s Chris Simms and, naturally, the conversation shifted to Swift towards the end, where Mahomes talked about how “genuine and cool” Swift has been, despite being the most famous person in the world. He also noted she’s gotten very into football, going so far as to start drawing plays in her spare time (~22:50 of the below video).

“And then meeting Taylor and realizing how genuine and cool she is,” Mahomes said. “I mean, that’s been special to me, because she is, like you said, the most famous person in the world, she could not be. And she’s really interested in football and she asks a lot of great questions. She’s started drawing up plays, so we might have to put one in.”

The Chiefs offense is willing to try just about anything if they think it can work, so I don’t think this is just lip service by Mahomes about possibly putting in a Taylor play. We’ve seen the Chiefs try all kinds of wild designs, from spinning huddles to behind the back passes and more, so don’t be surprised if we learn after a game that a redzone TD came off of something drawn up by the biggest pop star in the world.

Post Malone Thinks ‘It Must Suck’ To Be As Famous As Taylor Swift And Beyoncé

Post Malone is plenty famous. But he’s not Taylor Swift– or Beyoncé-level famous, and he’s just fine with that.

“I can’t even imagine being at their level — it must suck,” the “I Had Some Help” singer recently told the New York Times. Malone then described what it was like filming the “Fortnight” music video with Swift (he also collaborated with Beyoncé this year on “Levii’s Jeans”). She needed “an umbrella and drapes over the golf cart so drones and a helicopter couldn’t get footage,” he said, adding, “That’s so much pressure.”

Malone also discussed his upcoming country album F-1 Trillion, which includes duets with Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton, and Chris Stapleton. “Genres suck. It’s easier to catalog music that way,” he said. “But at a certain point — and the cool thing is that it’s moving towards this — why can’t you mix all this together and make something that’s truly unique to you?”

When he was a kid, Malone said he would “go upstairs on the computer and make a beat and then put my headphones in and try to learn a Metallica riff and then I’d get the acoustic guitar and learn to play ‘Tear In My Beer.’ I would write a Hank Williams or Johnny song, record that, sing over some 808s and record that song, and then I’d make an indie-rock song and record that, too.”

F-1 Trillion is out 8/16 via Republic. Find more information here.

Kanye West dropped off Vultures 2 alongside Ty Dolla $ign, an album long-awaited by fans after the original hit at the top of the year. That would put Ye back at No. 1, right? Nope. Taylor Swift and the Swifties returned The Turtured Poets Department to the top of the Billboard 200.
