Takeoff Wax Figure’s Creation Detailed In New Video: Watch

Artist mr.officials.llc recently uploaded a video on how they crafted the first-ever Takeoff wax figure and the emotive context behind it. For those unaware, Takeoff is a former member of the Migos, one of the most influential and impactful Southern rap groups of all time, alongside his uncle Quavo and Offset. Tragically, he passed away in November of 2022 following a shootout which caught him in the crossfire. This tragedy, in addition to the Georgia native’s musical legacy, makes him a much-missed and much-beloved figure in the culture for generations to come. Through the clip’s narration, his wax figure’s creator spoke on what the process means to him.

“I haven’t posted in a while and here’s why,” they began their narration of the Takeoff video. “I’m grieving and I’m mourning and I didn’t even know it. Some of you may or may not notice that I’m closing my business after three years. I’m losing my car, it’s on its last wheel. I’m driving a 14-year-old car and I soon won’t have that. I’ll be homeless if all goes well. Now before you begin to feel sorry for me, I’m okay. My gift will make room for me because it always has, and even with all my losses I still believe that this is my year.

“I’ve heard God say over and over, ‘Finish what you started,’” they said of the Takeoff piece. “So I thought well maybe I could finish some sculptures. I could finish working on some projects that I started on, but it’s way too expensive and like I said, I need a new car. He kept saying to me, ‘This is not about you. Your gift is to inspire. Finish what you started.’ So, as I continue to finish working on projects, I begin to grieve and mourn the individuals that I was working on. Crying while creating, this young man I’ve been working on is deceased, and yet I still feel a sense to pray for him.

“Praying for his soul, praying for his family, friends and band members,” they concluded. “That’s when it hit me. This will be the year that I take off. God was using me in the life and legacy of the late rapper Takeoff to let me know that he has not forgotten about me. And what’s funny is this isn’t even my prayer. My prayer is not to have a new house or a new car or a new business. My prayer is for this to be your year of Takeoff. Your job will go to another level. Your marriage will go to another level. Even your finances and health will increase. I believe that this will be the year to Takeoff.”

Offset’s Tweet Grieving Takeoff Causes Cardi B Fans To Lash Out Even Harder

Considering 2023 is the first year he’s spent without his dear friend, Takeoff, by his side, Offset has been making major moves in the industry. Of course, there are times when he pushes pause to feel his emotions and mourn the Atlanta rapper’s untimely death, but for the most part, he’s been pouring his energy into music, culminating in his SET IT OFF project earlier this fall. Besides that body of work, we’ve also seen the father of five spending plenty of time with his children and wife, Cardi B, though trouble has been afoot for the couple in recent days.

Amid rumours of him cheating on the Hustlers actress, Offset spent his birthday without Cardi. Instead, he’s been surrounded by beautiful women, and posting online as though no stress is plaguing him mentally. Naturally, this is only infuriating his “Clout” collaborator more. After hearing the mother of two’s incredibly vulnerable emotional outburst, her fans are doing the most to make sure Set feels similar pain. Some of them take the low road by bringing up Takeoff’s name – a move neither Set nor Quavo approve of.

“Fans using Takeoff’s name in the middle of all this isn’t cool,” he tweeted over the weekend. “I’m still grieving my brother, and would like for his name to not be brought up.” Even with him setting this boundary, the Bardi Gang remains relentless. “Yet you’re okay with your family bullying Cardi even though YOU the one in the wrong? Man get tf,” one person clapped back. “[You] grieving by cheating on ya wife LMAOO,” another laughed at the unflattering rumours. Elsewhere, others argued that Set shouldn’t even have to talk about his fallen family member. “This should never have to be addressed. This world is Hell,” they ranted.

At this time, fans are still divided on how sincere Cardi B and Offset are in their split. We’ve seen the pair use similar tactics for promotion in the past. However, the former Migos member does have a history of being unfaithful to his wife as well. Read what his sister says about the situation at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates. RIP Takeoff.

Surviving Migos Members Slammed Users Online For Tastelessly Joking About Takeoff’s Death Amidst Cardi B Drama

It’s no fun when a family feuds, but it gets particularly nasty when the public gets involved. After Cardi B accused her estranged husband, Offset, of wrongdoing during an explosive Instagram Live, fans quickly began to take sides. Despite denying rumors that he was romantically connected to Chrisean Rock, people online have begun to flood Offset’s social media comment sections with nasty messages.

Although the personal attacks haven’t phased him, Offset put his foot down when people began to turn their attention to the late Migos member Takeoff. In a disgusting attempt to hurt Offset, several accounts made tasteless jokes about Takeoff’s tragic death. On Saturday, December 16, Offset reached his boiling point.

“Fan wishing death on Takeoff is crazy. Y’all lil ass better chill,” wrote Offset.

He later posted, “Correction: Fans using Takeoff’s name in the middle of all this isn’t cool. I’m still grieving my brother and would like for his name not to be brought up.”

Quavo also chimed in on the matter, coming to the defense of his late nephew. “Nephew ain’t wit the soap opera. LONG LIVE Rocket 🚀 🙏🏾 pray for y’all tho,” he wrote.

Cardi B is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Takeoff Death Jokes Anger Quavo And Offset Amid Latter’s Cardi B Drama

Cardi B and Offset have spent the past few years building a beautiful family together. Unfortunately for them, even their two children aren’t enough to keep the couple from fighting on the internet. This past week, the New York native was clearly in her feelings as the former Migo was bombarded with cheating allegations. Even those who are speculating that the whole situation is a publicity stunt, as we’ve seen from Cardi and her man in the past, were convinced that something more serious is going on after hearing the anguish and pain in the femcee’s voice.

“I’ve been sparing you, b**ch a** ni**a. Your b**ch a** album is s**t,” she publicly ranted to Offset. “F**king doing me dirty after so many years that I helped your motherf**king a**. Not even a f**king thank you.” As per usual, some internet users decided to take the low road. They’ve been making untasteful jokes about the father of five’s late partner in rhyme, Takeoff. This left a bad taste in both Quavo and Offset’s mouths, and they weren’t afraid to call out weirdos online stirring the pot.

Takeoff Sexual Assault Lawsuit Persists, Mother Will Serve As Defendant

Takeoff’s loss was already a lot for his mother to deal with. Now she has to be involved with a separate lawsuit. Titiana Davenport, the caregiver of Kirsnick Ball, is going to be called to court to speak on his behalf for a sexual assault lawsuit back in 2020. According to AllHipHop, the paperwork was filed in August of that year at the Los Angeles Superior Court. A supposed night of hedonism turned sour for a woman who was at a party with Takeoff.

The night of the unwarranted sexual advances took place on June 23, 2020, at an Encino home. According to the lawsuit, the woman claims that the late rapper took quite a few chances to force himself onto her. She explicitly was not interested. But, when they got into a bedroom, that is when Takeoff was supposedly successful. The Georgia artist denied any of his actions.

Now, this evening is being brought back to light. Since Takeoff cannot appear in court, Titiana will replace him. There has been no information on when she will be making her up to the courthouse yet. On top of this, Titiana is still awaiting an answer on the lawsuit she filed against the bowling alley where her son was murdered.

What are your initial thoughts on these latest developments in the sexual assault charges involving Takeoff? Since his mother is seemingly going to act as a defendant, how do you think this will play out? Is the woman who is making these allegations in the wrong, or in the right for still pursuing these original charges, why or why not? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Takeoff Shirt Catches Quavo’s Eye In Japan, Fan Immediately Removes & Gives It To Rapper

It’s now been over a year since the untimely death of Takeoff, but still, the loss weighs heavy on the hip-hop community. In particular, Quavo continues to grieve his partner-in-rhyme’s passing daily, though he wears his pain well. Due to the mass impact the uncle and nephew duo had in the Migos alongside Offset, the “WORKIN’ ME” hitmaker continues to see reminders of Take everywhere that he looks for them. During a recent trip to Japan, Q happened to cross paths with a group of fans – one of them wearing a fresh shirt with the Rocket Man’s face all over it.

Obviously loving the representation, the Atlanta native praised his new friend for his fit before asking if he could keep the shirt for himself. “Ohhh, let me see that shirt boy!” a voice behind the camera yells in the video below. “Yea boy, you got that motherf**ker on! Ooo, that shirt hard! Where’d you get this?” he excitedly asks. “Lemme get one, please! Can I have it?” Quavo continues while recording the Japanese local, who can hardly believe the interaction he’s having.

Takeoff and Quavo are Big in Japan

“You?!” he replies, seemingly in shock that one of his favourite rappers is jacking his swag. The Takeoff fan looked happy enough to just be crossing paths with Q, but ever the gentleman, he couldn’t leave without offering some money. Much to viewers’ surprise, all the kind soul wanted was a replacement top to put on for his night out. As reactions pour in on social media, some are suggesting that it was Takeoff checking in on his uncle from the after life, reminding Quavo that they’re always together in spirit.

As for the third member of the Migos, Offset, he’s also been in the news lately for reasons related to his fallen friend. When asked why he didn’t include a Takeoff tribute on his recent album, the lyricist had a poignant explanation that respects both his art and the Rocket Man’s legacy. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Offset Reveals Why He Hasn’t Put Out Takeoff Tribute

Offset’s new GQ interview covers a lot: the process behind his new album Set It Off, taking inspiration from Tyler, The Creator, and so much more. However, one crucial and very revealing part of the conversation regards the tragic loss of his Migos partner, Takeoff. Moreover, the Georgia trap icon explained why he hasn’t yet released a full tribute track or any form of music or content dedicated to Take. His words ring especially true in a time in which fans want music like this to not only resonate emotionally, but perform commercially.

This pressure, plus the vibes that ‘Set went for on Set It Off, went at odds with the heart and message he wants to put into his art to cathartically and respectfully pay homage to his fallen friend. “It’s way more fun,” Offset remarked about his project. “I didn’t want to talk about tragedy. Talk about… I ain’t ready to talk about that s**t yet, first and foremost. I don’t know how to do it, but I didn’t want to just be making an album about bad s**t and dissing and putting that type of energy on the project. It was going to make my mind be in a different place.

“The world is not ready for it. Because [everyone] is so judgmental,” Offset continued. “They want you to make a song pouring your heart out that’s a hit. There is a song on there that’s kind of expressing that s**t, though, which is ‘Upside Down.’ It’s feeling confident I’m going to go up with the music, but I’m down every day. It’s the challenge of trying to be the best at your worst times.”

Meanwhile, this adds to other small tidbits and insights into the 31-year-old’s career and evolution over the years. Another shocking, interesting, and frankly disagreeable revelation was that he originally hated “Ric Flair Drip.” All we can hope for is that the effort put into a Takeoff tribute is healing and resonant, regardless of what fans may expect or what metrics they may use to judge it. On that note, stay logged into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Offset.

Surviving Migos Members Quavo And Offset Posted Emotional Tributes To Their Late Bandmate Takeoff A Year After His Death

Yesterday marked one year since the death of Takeoff in a bowling alley shooting. His surviving Migos bandmates, Quavo and Offset, both posted emotional tributes to him on social media for the anniversary, mourning his untimely death and vowing to carry on his legacy.

“Can’t forget it won’t Forget It NEVER Forget it” Quavo wrote alongside a rocket emoji. The rocket was a favorite motif for Takeoff, who named his one and only solo album The Last Rocket. Quavo titled his latest solo release Rocket Power as a tribute to Takeoff as well.

Meanwhile, Offset posted a video compilation of Takeoff moments set to a fan mashup of Takeoff’s verse from “Last Memory” with Floetry’s “Say Yes” beat. The caption reads, “The times we spent is priceless what we built in this game they never wanted to give us our flowers we influenced the world…I Love you Take you still here with us I just know you are!!!! Migo 4Life!!!!!!”

In May this year, the man accused of shooting and killing Takeoff was formally charged with murder. Meanwhile, Quavo and Offset reunited at the BET Awards after spending the past two years throwing veiled insults at each other. Quavo also insinuated that a posthumous Takeoff album is in the works.
