Kanye West Unveils Super Bowl Commercial For Yeezy: Watch

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures just came out, and it looks like this isn’t where the rollout will stop. Moreover, the former just unveiled a new Super Bowl commercial for Yeezy (here’s a Twitter link if he deletes it later), featuring a woman running on a treadmill as the Freddie Gibbs-assisted album cut “Back to Me” plays in the background. It’s a very simple and minimalist ad that we doubt will actually air during the game, given all of Ye’s controversies and issues with big brands as of late. Still, this is the same person that was able to host listening parties in big cities and big arenas, so maybe there’s a good chance that he’ll actually get a spot on national television.

Furthermore, this is contributing to the immense hype and excitement for Vultures finally dropping this weekend… for Apple Music users. Spotify still doesn’t have it, and as of writing this article, even Apple seemingly took it down, so how long Kanye West’s release will last is up in the air. Regardless, this commercial also highlights one of the most beloved aspects of this album so far in fans’ eyes: Freddie Gibbs’ feature verse. It’s probably the most universally praised part of this whole thing, in addition to other features and the production.

Kanye West’s Yeezy Super Bowl Ad: Watch

In fact, folks are talking about pretty much anything Kanye West did with this album except for the lyrics, which is normal because they’re hard to catch cohesively on first listens. It’s also because all of the drama surrounding this drop, and how folks are more interested in him making music than taking a stance on backlash. Alas, the Chicago artist still peppers his art with brash reminders of his views. The worst part is that the bars aren’t of a high enough quality to look past these leanings.

Meanwhile, do you think that this Super Bowl ad will actually hit households this Sunday? How does “Back to Me” compare to other cuts on Vultures like “Fuk Sumn“? Let us know your thoughts on all of this down in the comments section below. Also, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Kanye West.

Usher Will Strap On Roller Skates For His Super Bowl Halftime Show

Usher’s Super Bowl halftime show is right around the corner this weekend -– and yeah, we guess the football game will be cool, too. Jokes aside, a lot of people are very excited for this spectacle, as its build-up and “rollout” involved a brand new album and a lot of interesting promo material and artist link-ups. Not only that, but it seems like the R&B star’s recent Las Vegas residency (where he will perform again for the Super Bowl) will play a pretty large role here. For example, he told Access Hollywood that he would bring back a roller skating sequence from that run of shows.

“When you think about skating, it’s not just rolling and the music,” Usher remarked about the upcoming performance. “It’s also to what you wear. It’s how you feel. Somewhere during the pandemic I had this bright idea to just go back to having fun, and that’s what this is. I want to offer the same thing to people who come here to dance, and listen to music, have a few drinks, and just chill out or even get on skates and have a good time. Again, you might fall down but you get back up, but you have fun.”

Usher At Super Bowl LVI In 2022

In addition, Usher’s history with roller skating is actually pretty well-documented, and manifested in a big way a couple of years ago. Back in 2022, he joined Q-Tip, Meek Mill, and more artists to help open Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace at Rockefeller Center in New York City. The Dallas native performed for its opening night ceremony as a headliner, and is also the company’s brand ambassador. We hope that these artist connections mean that there’s a chance the Super Bowl halftime show will host some special guests.

Meanwhile, these rumors about folks like Alicia Keys coming out with the 45-year-old will probably continue with fervor until we get the show. What are you looking forward to the most about this upcoming performance? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments section down below. Also, stick around on HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Usher.

He later added, “I could be like RiRi. RiRi came out there and just went from year to year to year to year to year.”

If Usher is Going to Do Anything, It’s Perform: Super Bowl Setlist Analysis

Usher Apple Photo

Since Usher announced himself as the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show headliner back in Sept. 2023, fans and followers alike have been trying to guess which hits the R&B star will take to the stage on Sunday night.

Of Usher’s eight, going on nine albums, 81 singles, and nine number-one singles, here’s what we think he will bring to the 2024 Apple Music Halftime Show.

Which song will Usher sing first?

Catching the ears of the over 100 million projected viewers and attendees is an easy feat when you have generational hits like “Yeah!,” “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home),” and “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love.” These recognizable hits are essential to electrify the crowd before taking us down memory lane. Even a sample take of “Peace up, A-Town down” would send the youngest fans into a frenzy to hear more of the star.

Undoubtedly, the legendary performer will make a grandiose entrance on one of his biggest nights. This is also not the first appearance that the star has made, dropping in (literally, he descended from the stadium ceiling) to perform “OMG” with the Black Eyed Peas in 2011. We’re taking the hint that it will be even more of a bang to start the show.

Which songs will Usher perform?

The show’s heart lies within the deep catalog of the king’s chart-topping R&B hits and club bangers. Mash-ups and small samples are often used during the show to speedily hit all the fan-favorite hits for an artist, a tactic that Usher is almost guaranteed to use to take his 30 years’ worth of music down to 12 to 14 minutes’ worth of a show. We’re looking at tracks including: “Burn,” “U Remind Me,” “Love In This Club,” “Confessions Part II,” and “U Don’t Have to Call.”

Usher is known for having a good time on-stage with hits like “Caught Up” and “I Don’t Mind.” A vocal highlight for the night could include a “Superstar” breakdown, a notch to the viral TikTok trend stemming from his NPR Tiny Desk appearance last year.

Let’s not forget Usher’s genre-bending hits in the EDM space, such as “OMG” and “Scream,” which are fair contenders for time on the setlist.

Which special guest(s) will he bring out?

It’s customary for a Super Bowl halftime headliner to bring out guests. While Usher does not need company on stage, he has a catalog of hard-hitting featured artists to call upon if he so chooses.

We might get an Alicia Keys appearance after her Grammy win last weekend. The duo share the Grammy award-winning ballad, ‘My Boo’, that could see some time on the stage or at least in a mash-up.

If Usher stays on a pop flavor for the night, his protege, Justin Bieber, could very well take the stage. Bieber recently came from a two-year performance hiatus over NHL All-Star Weekend in Canada.

READ MORE: Usher Announces Nationwide ‘Usher: Past Present Future’ Tour

The possibility of a Lil Jon appearance also has some weight. If performed without him, fans would miss his features on ‘Lovers and Friends’ and ‘Yeah!’. Lil Jon also has an album coming out on Feb. 16.

Usher and Chris Brown sharing the stage would not be a “New Flame,” as the two powerhouse performers could easily bring the stadium down with their shared songs and a possible touch of an afro beats selection.

Solo dolo might be the route Usher takes with this headlining performance, and we’re here for every view and angle he gives us for the night.

Which song will Usher sing last?

Depending on the journey that Usher takes us on in the short time he has, we are predicting a closing meant for the fans who have been rocking with him for over 30 years.

Usher’s “Love in This Club” are notes to end the night on. A rendition of “Climax,” special to the Super Bowl, could also dot the performance.

Many are pleased to know that this won’t be the last we see of Usher. He’s giving us a new album and a tour! Following the slated halftime performance and the momentum from the closing of his two-year My Way: The Las Vegas Residency run, the star has announced his 24-city tour, USHER: Past Present Future, kicking off in late August.

The tour will feature music from every era of his career, including songs from his ninth album, Coming Home. The album will debut on Feb 9., just days before his headliner performance.

How Do We Watch the Show?

The Super Bowl Halftime Show will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday, Feb. 11. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET, where the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49ers live on CBS. We are excited to see how this R&B legend narrows down and dazzles on “the most grand stage.”

Doe Boy Predicts Chiefs Will Win Super Bowl Because Of Taylor Swift

Doe Boy Predicts Chiefs Will Win Super Bowl Because Of Taylor Swift

If you’re watching the NFL playoffs this year, chances are you heard Doe Boy in the newest Apple commercial.

The Cleveland, Ohio native exploded onto the scene with his viral smash “Mini Vans” back in 2018, and now, he’s debuting a new side of his artistry: singing. While he’s showcased his vocals previously on records, this time, he’s debuting them to the world on national television.

His newest single, “Way Too Long,” was created specifically for the new Apple ad, promoting their newest iPhone: the 15 Plus. The record quickly catapulted to new heights, becoming the most Shazam’ed song in January and even peaking at #1 on Rhythm Radio. The commercial boasts over 5 million views and counting, and let’s not even get into the fact that Doe Boy has been getting more airtime during the NFL playoffs than Taylor Swift.

On this impressive achievement, Doe Boy states, “That’s crazy right? Taylor Swift, man you gotta think: they show her every five seconds too. It’s like the NFL noticed. They show her more than the owner of the NFL, that’s crazy. They know what’s making them money.”

Signed to Future’s Freebandz imprint, Doe Boy inspires all aspiring rappers to believe that they, too, can one day have a record of this magnitude. He even goes on record stating that since the commercial aired, his streams have increased by 222%.

Regarding who has had on the Super Bowl this Sunday, Doe Boy states, “The Chiefs gon’ win, because of Taylor Swift. That’s how I feel, they not gonna let them lose. It’s politics.”

Stay tuned to see if Doe Boy is right or wrong! The Super Bowl airs this Sunday at 3:30 pm PST, with the San Francisco 49ers taking on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Lil Wayne Really, Really Wants To Play The Super Bowl Halftime Show In 2025 For A Sentimental Reason

It seems that the days of musicians rejecting the NFL’s Super Bowl Halftime show slot are long over. Thanks to the co-sign of Jay-Z, the league has been able to secure some of the industry’s biggest acts in recent years. As the recently dubbed King Of Vegas, Usher was the only logical headliner for Super Bowl LVIII’s show.

But for the 2025 show in New Orleans, there’s one person who just leapfrogged to the front of folk’s minds. Yesterday (February 8), Hollygrove representative Lil Wayne put his bid in to play the coveted concert. During a chat with YG and Stevie on their 4HUNNID podcast, Lil Wayne not only expressed interest but lamented that he hasn’t even been contacted yet to begin talks.

“I will not lie to you, I have not got a call or nothing,” he said. “But we are praying. We praying. We keeping our fingers crossed. I’m working hard. I’mma make sure this next album and everything I do is killer. I wanna just make it hard for them not to holler at the boy.”

Lil Wayne is an avid sports fantic (even a part-time commentator), hometown hero, and rap superstar, so why not? It’ll be a good while before an act is secured for the 2025 Super Bowl, but as Lil Wayne implied, it’s best to put your bid in early.

Super Bowl LVIII will air on CBS starting at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, February 11. Find more information here.

Usher, Lil Jon & Ludacris To Perform “Yeah!” At The Super Bowl, Justin Bieber Could Also Join

Fans have been anxiously awaiting Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Show since it was announced back in September. It’s already been confirmed that his headlining slot will run two minutes longer than usual, or 15 minutes in total. It goes without saying that supporters have been curious about what they can expect to see during the show, and luckily, Usher recently provided them with some exciting new details.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Usher revealed that he’ll be performing a fan-favorite, and the longest-running No. 1 single of 2004, “Yeah!” As if that news wasn’t exciting enough, he also shared that his collaborators, Lil Jon and Ludacris, will be joining him for the performance.

Usher To Perform With Ludacris & Lil Jon

“I would be a fool to not play ‘Yeah!’ let’s just start there,” he explained. “It would be foolish to make it all the way to Las Vegas, Jon is here, Luda’s here and not play ‘Yeah!’” At the time of writing, it’s unconfirmed whether or not they’ll also perform “Lovers & Friends.”

Ludacris and Lil Jon will certainly make the performance all the more explosive. They may not be the only ones joining the R&B icon onstage, however. A source recently chatted with TMZ and revealed that he’s also in talks with Justin Bieber about a possible appearance. Reportedly, the two of them have been in direct contact recently about the performance, though JB’s appearance is just a rumor for now.

Kendrick Lamar And Baby Keem Perform In Vegas Ahead Of The Super Bowl

This weekend, two of the best teams in the NFL are gathering in Las Vegas to play the final game of the football season. But dozens of other celebrities will be showing up in the city to celebrate the big game all weekend. That includes Usher who is performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, Post Malone who is singing “America The Beautiful” and numerous high-profile rap and pop artists who are attending and performing at the annual Fanatics party.

Two more artists in attendance are Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem. They’re in town a few days early and seemingly for an entirely different reason. Kendrick was booked to perform at the F1 Livery Launch overnight and Keem was alongside him for part of the show. It’s unclear if they have any other plans for the big game or will even stick around in Las Vegas all weekend. Check out the video of Kendrick and Baby Keem performing “Family Ties” together in Las Vegas overnight below.

Kendrick Lamar And Baby Keem In Las Vegas

The last time Kendrick Lamar popped up was during Paris Fashion Week. He popped up at a Chanel show where he was again alongside Baby Keem. The show itself used a piece of unreleased Kendrick music to soundtrack it’s runway. They also used another piece of previously hidden music from the rapper to soundtrack a short film released to accompany the show. Unreleased music makes its way into runway shows often but it doesn’t seem like any indication that either track could be coming out soon.

Kendrick Lamar is also continuing to get massive praise for his life shows. Kid Cudi spoke about his new album INSANO during a recent interview. He specifically cited seeing one of Kendrick’s concerts in France as inspiring some of the theatricality of the record. Kendrick himself also spoke on how special the performance was while discussing the live recording that was turned into a movie. What do you think of Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem linking up to perform together in Las Vegas? Let us know in the comment section below.

Who Is Jeremiah Fennell? The 11-Year-Old Sportcaster Taking Over The Super Bowl

Super Bowl Sunday and the weeks preceding the big event are always a time rife with viral material, from popular brands marketing their advertising strategies, to fan-favorite players engaging in fascinating rituals. This year, Jeremiah Fennell, the 11-year-old newscaster, has completely stolen the spotlight, poised to become the next great ESPN commentator before even reaching his teens.

The young man turned heads this week by showcasing his incredible football acumen, wise-beyond-his-years reporting style, and invaluable insight into the game. In addition to being positively adorable, Fennell represents the very best of a new generation of journalists, bringing a hard-hitting and authoritative voice to Super Bowl LVIII. Here’s a brief overview of who Jeremiah Fennell is, and what you can expect to see from him this weekend.

Read More: Stephen A Smith Net Worth 2024: What Is The Sports Journalist Worth?

The Sportscaster Initially Wanted To Play Football

Like many esteemed sports journalists, Jeremiah’s dreams originally saw him taking to the field to rush his way into a game-winning touchdown. Unfortunately, the young man experienced a great deal of health concerns during his youth which prevented him from being able to play. Jeremiah Fennell’s official website describes him as a miracle baby, as doctors and specialists suggested he might not survive the delivery upon his birth in 2012.

In subsequent years, Jeremiah experienced a great deal of medical issues, including a missing brain gland, a detached clavicle, and an extremely high risk of permanent hearing loss. As a result of these issues, the young man has been barred from engaging in full-contact sports such as football. However, this didn’t slow him down, as his loving family provided him with several important tools from a young age.

The Young Man Is Highly Academically Advanced

It is clear from hearing the 11-year-old speak in interviews that Jeremiah Fennell has a greater screen presence and grasp of the English language model than most kids his age. According to his bio, Fennell learned the fundamentals of reading, writing, and American Sign Language from a young age through the Child Find program. At the age of 3, he started preschool and, within just one year, he tested out of the program due to his advanced abilities.

Socially, Fennell was always a massive football fan, and would even practice interviewing the Raiders players while watching games at home. He launched a YouTube channel in April of 2020, offering surprisingly astute post-game NFL highlights, and eventually became the first journalist to join Sports 4 Free Youthmedia.

The Journalist Received National Attention On Super Bowl Opening Night

Jeremiah Fennell is a Las Vegas native, giving him the perfect opportunity to attend this year’s Super Bowl festivities. During Opening Night, Fennell got the world’s attention by sitting down with Pat Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and others, providing well-thought-out interviews and fascinating game predictions. At the age of 11, Jeremiah is already an honor roll student, NAACP member, hard-working podcaster and journalist, speaking into an NFL Network microphone with the authoritative genius generally reserved for age-old veterans of the football world. Whether you’re rooting for the San Francisco 49ers or the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend, one thing’s for sure: this kid is going places.

Tiësto Has Pulled Out Of Playing The Super Bowl Due To A ‘Family Emergency’

The Super Bowl is coming up this weekend with Halftime Show performer Usher ready to bring the soul, but fans looking forward to seeing what game DJ Tiësto would have contributed to the festivities will unfortunately be disappointed in that regard. The DJ has made the “tough” decision to pull out of the show due to a family emergency according to Variety based on social media posts he shared today.

“Me and my team have been preparing something truly special for months, but a personal family emergency is forcing me to return home Sunday morning,” he wrote. “It was a tough decision to miss the game, but family always comes first. Thank you to the @NFL for the collaboration and looking forward to working with them to deliver something incredible together in the future !”

Super Bowl LVIII was to be the first with an “in-game” DJ, with Tiësto playing during breaks in the game. Some would even appear during CBS’ broadcast. Unfortunately, it looks like we’ll have to wait until some other time to see what Tiësto had up his sleeve. The NFL undoubtedly has a backup plan, but as of press time, it hasn’t yet been revealed which DJ will come off the bench to take Tiësto’s place — or if the league will just nix the plan altogether this year.

Well… at least we still have the ads. So. Many. Ads. (It’s a good crop this year, too.)
