Kelly Rowland Allegedly Walked Off “Today Show” Due To Small Dressing Room

Kelly Rowland’s new movie Mea Culpa comes out soon, and according to a new Page Six report, The Today Show with Hoda Kotb invited her as co-host on Thursday (February 15). She showed up for the 8AM local time slot, mostly for just a brief conversation about the movie, but she was apparently supposed to appear at 10AM as well to be a co-host for the hour. However, an allegedly close source to the program reportedly told the publication that the Destiny’s Child legend and her team supposedly left before the second part of this press run could manifest. The reason? Apparently, it was too small of a dressing room.

“Kelly and her team were not happy,” the alleged source remarked. “They did not like the dressing room, so they decided to pull her off the show, leaving [Kotb] without a guest host for the 10AM hour.” Furthermore, it seems like Kelly Rowland and her crew asked for other rooms, but Jennifer Lopez was already in the big green room. She had her own media to promote, and when they couldn’t find other rooms, the team just left and caused a lot of confusion for the show producers.

“She’s beloved at Today,” another alleged source shared about the situation. “She was getting the full hour, and Hoda’s the biggest hype woman on the planet! It made no sense.” Whatever happened here, it’s unclear whether Kelly Rowland will elaborate on the situation further or if this will stay a rumor mill mystery. Last week, he confirmed that he’ll be bringing out Ludacris and Lil Jon. Of course, they plan to perform their hit, “Yeah.” Alicia Keys was also later confirmed, though it’s unclear whether or not they’ll perform their Confessions classic, “My Boo.”

On Friday, talk even began that Justin Bieber might come out at some point, though they’ve yet to confirm or deny this. Rumors only heated up when the Kardashians landed in Vegas yesterday, accompanied by someone who looked a lot like JB. Reportedly, the “Baby” singer was even spotted roaming around the Wynn at some point today alongside his wife Hailey and Pastor Judah Smith.

While the clip should be innocent enough, as Scrappy claims to be single, social media users have been speculating that he and Erica Dixon are back together for quite some time. The two of them share one daughter together, and appear to be on good terms based on recent social media posts. “Grown a** man still doing this is cr*zy,” one commenter says. “And this is why we say [Erica] was embarrassing herself,” another writes.

Moreover, according to TMZ, it seems like the Kardashians arrived at the city via private jet on Saturday morning (February 10), with Kim, Khloé, and Kendall Jenner walking out of the airplane in bundles. They wore low-profile outfits, but it wasn’t until they reportedly made it to their hotel that people really started getting excited. Out of their van emerged a man with a puffy coat, white beanie, and blue jeans, which many fans theorized could be Justin Bieber, who’s been in heavy rumors as of late about potentially joining Usher as a special musical guest for his Super Bowl halftime show.

Furthermore, this is all still speculative at press time, but it will surely fuel these rumors even more regardless. What’s more is that Justin Bieber is not the only special guest rumored to appear tomorrow for the big game’s mid-way spectacle. Alicia Keys reportedly rehearsed for the big event, so a lot of fans predict that she will surely join Usher onstage. In fact, Usher recently spoke of incorporating a roller skating bit from his Vegas residency into his Super Bowl halftime show. “When you think about skating, it’s not just rolling and the music,” he told Access Hollywood. “It’s also to what you wear. It’s how you feel. Somewhere during the pandemic I had this bright idea to just go back to having fun, and that’s what this is. I want to offer the same thing to people who come here to dance, and listen to music, have a few drinks, and just chill out or even get on skates and have a good time. Moreover, and unidentifiable rumor started to emerge on social media about him and Travis Scott teaming up for a European trek together. Some accounts on Twitter have attributed this news to HITS Daily Double, but their social media and website don’t indicate any report on this. “If this Drake and Travis tour rumour is real, my bank account is going to be finished,” one concerned listener wrote on Twitter. As such, take all of this with a grain of salt, as there’s no legit confirmation, but it would be amazing to see.

Furthermore, the two have a very strong collaborative and personal bond, as evidenced by their multiple hits together. Sure, their collaboration ruffled some feathers in the artistic world, particularly Kanye West’s if the rumors behind that backstory and conflict are true. But you can’t deny that there’s so much audience and aesthetic overlap here that it seems like a no-brainer. To be fair, both Drake and Travis Scott are huge enough that a joint tour with any other artist would still be a massive draw.

Reportedly, he’s seeking joint custody of their two children and checked off on neither party receiving spousal support. While Althoff has managed to keep her personal life mostly under wraps since skyrocketing to fame with The Really Good Podcast, fans and critics alike were overwhelmingly curious about what could have prompted the breakup.

Of course, some speculated that Althoff’s viral interview with Drake could have been to blame. Users note that Cory said they separated in July of 2023 in his filing, which is around the time the interview was posted. Shortly after the interview blew up, however, it was deleted. This led to a great deal of gossip, rumors of beef between Althoff and Drake, and more.

Recently, the outlet chatted with a source who claimed that Drake and Althoff had a falling out after their interview. Allegedly, this was prompted by Drake inviting Althoff to his concert, and only offering her general admission. During her recent appearance on Keke Palmer’s podcast, Althoff implied that she and Drake have made up since. The source alleges that they haven’t, however.

With the first volume of Vultures only days away from dropping, it looks like Kanye West could have some exciting shows lined up in the near future. According to a new screenshot, he was allegedly offered opportunities to perform at various major international venues recently. In the conversation, Ye’s seemingly informed that the Corcovado in Brazil, the Great Wall of China, and the Giza Pyramids would “love to have” him.

It’s unclear whether or not Ye will actually perform at any of these destinations. It wouldn’t be the first time fans saw him at a historic venue, however. Back in August, Travis Scott performed at the iconic Circus Maximus in Italy after his own scheduled show at the Giza Pyramids was canceled. During the show, he brought Ye onstage for a couple of songs.

The alleged screenshots surfaced after Ye shared that he was having trouble getting venues to book him. He suggested that it’s due to his infamous 2022 antisemitism scandal. He had already secured a spot at Chicago’s United Center on February 9 but was out of luck elsewhere. Fortunately, after hearing Ye’s plea, several of his well-connected friends reached out with opportunities.

Shortly after, talk of a 2024-2025 world tour began after Ye posted a screenshot of some tentative tour dates. Potential destinations could include Toronto, New York, Atlanta, Cairo, Dubai, Tokyo, and more. Neither of them have confirmed these reports, though Ashanti did put her hand over her stomach during a performance in December, seemingly indicating a growing bump. Nelly did the same before the couple broke out into laughter, leaving fans to speculate.

Since then, Ashanti has been stepping out in some stunning, yet uncharacteristically oversized fits. Recently, for example, she performed with Ja Rule in a loosely fitting t-shirt. Now, she’s been spotted once again at an event wearing a look that would conveniently obscure any signs that a little one is on the way.

The event in question was hosted in Miami yesterday (February 2), in honor of the 10th anniversary of E11EVEN. The lovebirds graced the stage, performing hits like “Body On Me,” and more. Ashanti rocked a bright pink oversized Balenciaga t-shirt, which she complimented with a pair of similarly vivid boots and some shades. At one point in the evening, Fat Joe even joined Ashanti for a performance of “What’s Luv?” He takes credit for the artists’ reunion, telling fans on Instagram Live last month that it wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for him.

“I immediately tell them I need 10 percent of this kid because if it wasn’t for Verzuz, that I brought Nelly out [during] me against Ja Rule, that’s when they saw each other and energy connected again,” he explained. “That’s when he said I gotta have her. At one point in the show, he claimed that he wanted to take the opportunity to apologize. He paused momentarily before adding, “to absolutely f***ing nobody.” The remark managed to get fans thinking, and some of them theorize that the comment was aimed at Britney Spears.

Just after the remark, Timberlake rolled into “Cry Me A River,” a song about Spears. She also had plenty to say about him in her memoir The Woman In Me, which she later apologized for. The pop icon even shouted out his track “Selfish,” calling it “soo good.”

She recently took to Instagram to share what appears to be a response, making it known that she doesn’t have anything to apologize for either. “Someone told me someone was talking s*** about me on the streets !!!” she captioned a photo of a basketball hoop. “Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time??? I’m not sorry!!!” Last year, Spears threw some shade at Timberlake on Instagram over his allegedly lackluster basketball skills, making the post seem like a direct shot.

While some are convinced that his comment was directed at Spears, others note that the anniversary of his infamous Janet Jackson breast-exposing incident is today. For obvious reasons, plenty of people were upset about the Super Bowl halftime show catastrophe, which he also later apologized for. Kanye West Clears IG Ahead Of “Vultures” Release, Fans Wonder What He’s Planning

It goes without saying that fans are growing impatient amid the wait for Kanye West’s upcoming project with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures. He was previously scheduled to drop in December, but alas, it’s seen various delays since. It’s now supposed to drop in three different volumes, the first of which arrives in February, or so Ye says. The second volume of Vultures is said to drop in March, and the third in April.

As fans continue to speculate about the arrival, what features they can expect, and more, Ye has updated his Instagram page, leaving them curious. He deleted all of his scandalous Bianca Censori photos, along with everything else. On top of deleting his photos, he also unfollowed everybody.

This latest update has some fans wondering if this was meant as some kind of hint, as artists frequently wipe their pages clean ahead of major releases. Others are concerned that it indicates the project will be delayed once again. “This means he’s about to delay the album for the 5th time or something big is about to happen,” one writes. “YE is cooking something up fs,” another says. “Vultures about to be added to his ‘albums never dropped by Kanye’ collection,” somebody else worries. Of course, it’s also possible that he simply cleared his page for a fresh start, meaning that all of the speculation has been for nothing. Regardless, it continues.
