YungManny, YK Osiris, & Loui Deliver Dope Vibes On “Her Peace”

YungManny knows how to craft some catchy songs that are filled with summer vibes. Now that we are finally in August, there is only a small amount of time before these summer-type tracks go by the wayside. With this in mind, it should be no surprise that YungManny has taken advantage of the time we have left with a brand new summer-ready song called “Her Peace” which features the likes of YK Osiris and Loui.

This song is filled with melodies as all three artists float on top of the bubbly production. Throughout the track, YungManny, Osiris, and Loui all sing about their girls and how they want to give them the world. It’s a very positive track that will immediately put you in a good mood as you soak up some sunshine.

ArrDee Shows Off His Humor With New Banger “Jiggy (Whiz)”

When it comes to flows and lyrics, there is no doubt that UK artists are in a complete league of their own. British artists are typically a lot cheekier with their lyrics as they don’t have a problem with being humorous within their songs. While most American artists take themselves incredibly seriously, the UK lot seems to be keener with theatrics. This is especially true for UK rapper ArrDee who recently dropped a brand new song called “Jiggy (Whiz)” which is an obvious party anthem.

With this track, ArrDee delivers some high-energy flows all while the production matches the party vibe that the artist is reaching for. The music video that goes along with the track is just as rambunctious as the song itself, which is something you love to see. Overall, ArrDee shines on the song, and fans who have yet to hear him should definitely give this effort a listen.

Quotable Lyrics:

Spun the track off the DJ
She running back, she likes the relay (Aye)
She kinda tapped but sweetie, she’s [?]
But I like that so girl, it’s ok (It’s ok)

Key Glock & Gucci Mane Make It Look Easy On “I Do This”

Young Dolph dropped off PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi with the Paper Route EMPIRE this past week. The project is a chance for Dolph to showcase his roster of talent. Key Glock, Snupe Bandz, Big Moochie Grape, and others take a prominent role in making PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi sound dope. A shining example of this is Key Glock’s single “I Do This” featuring Gucci Mane.

The beat for “I Do This” is mainly comprised of a haunting piano and a siren-like synth that spins around the drums. The monotony of the instrumental almost gives the beat a marching vibe, like we’re stomping off to war. Gucci Mane hops in for the second verse, performing a memorable 16 before leaving Key Glock to command every other portion of the single.

Quotable Lyrics
Stop the track, Glock, R.I.P to George Floyd (Stop)
I’m Gucci Mane LaFlare, my watch cost way more than Floyd’s (Well, damn)
These niggas broke as hell and it’s obvious to see (I see)
Gucci-ology, these niggas be studying me (Wow)
Get up off my dick like a bitch, like a bitch (Bitch)
Fuck a gang, I don’t need a clique, I’m the shit (Pfft)

Offset Jim & Kenny Beats Team Up For Tantalizing Banger “Face Card”

Oakland artist Offset Jim has been making big moves as of late thanks to a steady stream of new singles and projects that showcase his cold as ice flow and braggadocios lyrics. The artist has been catching the eye of various high-profile artists and producers, including Kenny Beats who has had a dominant last few years in the industry. Recently, the two teamed up for a brand new track called “Face Card,” which has both artists showing off their vast talents.

With this track, Kenny Beats delivers some menacing production that is full of guitars, crisp drums, and unique samples that complement Offset Jim’s voice. There is a lot of flexing being done on this track, and you can tell that Offset Jim feels as confident as ever. Overall, it’s a solid track that you can check out, below.

Quotable Lyrics:

International trapper, sendin’ boxes through the stateline
Crush a n***a dreams if he think he finna take mine (Come on)
Shit like this don’t come up overnight, see, shit like this, it take time
Remember I was broke, procrastinatin’, used to waste time (Shh)

Dave East & Jim Jones Contemplate Life On “Money Or Power”

Dave East and Harry Fraud blessed the nation with HOFFAwhich is truly a masterpiece. East doesn’t get enough respect on the commercial level, but he has to be one of the best young rappers in the game today. HOFFA contains a range of dope features, but Jim Jones stands out on “Money or Power.”

The smooth instrumental sounds like something that would play when a pimp walks onto the screen in a ’70s flick. East drops slick bars first, coming hard with his subdued vibe. There isn’t a chorus, just some snippets pertaining to Jimmy Hoffa. Then, Jones picks up the second verse was some veteran-style New York bars that shake up the single. “Money or Power” is a standout track on HOFFA, which is hard to do amongst so many bangers.

Quotable Lyrics
If Harlem had a king that’d be a no-brainer (Jones said that)
Pour the water from the base through an old strainer (Strainer)
Start talking ’bout that base, I mean that cocaina (Aye)
If I’m drawin’ at your face, but I ain’t a painter (Shoot that shit up)
Just like Picasso, nigga, I could make the picture vivid (You see that?)

anders, Kvn Rose, & SLMN Are “Curious”

anders just dropped off his Honest EP, which is a great piece of work. Contained on the project is the single “Curious,” which features Kvn Rose and is produced by SLMN. “Curious” is a radio-ready hit, equipped with an amazingly catchy chorus and a dope beat. The subdued twangs of the bassy synths on “Curious” sound like something Mustard would have cooked up.

Kvn Rose’s honey-sweet vocals pair well with anders’ equally sugary croon. “Curious” is about a man who is somewhat insecure about his importance in his woman’s life because he thinks she is cheating on him. The honesty in the concept is refreshing, and it’s hard not to love this song.

Quotable Lyrics
Baby there ain’t nobody
Why keep smiling at your phone
Don’t play with me for dummy yeah
Nobody got me out my zone
Losin sleep over the thought that
You might break my heart
A pretty girl gon do what she do

Mez Pays Homage On New Track “Jme”

Ahead of his One Uncle EP release, Nottingham’s Mez has touched down with a fitting tribute to Boy Better Know’s Jme with a track of the same name.

In his truest form, Mez handles production on the hard-hitting offering while multitasking with energetic delivery as Mez cleverly weaves in influences from Jme tracks like “Pricks,” “Man Don’t Care,” and “96 Bars of Revenge.”

It marks Mez’s first delivery of 2021, following up on a busy 2020 for the Grime mainstay in which he dropped off his Tyrone 3 project while his “Babylon Can’t Roll” one-off caught a major look in Grand Theft Auto V.

One Uncle gets here on August 13, but until then, get acquainted with “Jme.”

When the single dropped, Aluna released a statement, saying, “In the summer of 2020 we wanted to feel like we were gonna change everything…. We also felt crushed at the same time and the first thing we needed was love from the person closest to us or just from ourselves to keep going…. The summer of love. 2021 has this feeling of a darkness lifting and I just wanted to capture that.”

The beat definitely will make you dance with its heavy and deep drums and Aluna’s voice is just as crisp and beautiful as ever. Stream “Summer of Love” and let us know what you think below.

Take my hand so we don’t have to run
Anywhere, when they come for us
I’ll stay close, so close and overcome
The only thing I need’s your love

Logic Spazzes On Sample-Heavy New Track “God Might Judge”

After retiring from the rap game, fans had a sinking feeling that Logic would eventually return to the spotlight. Making music is one of those things you never truly retire from and it’s clear that Logic was getting that itch from the sidelines. On Friday, he made his comeback with Bobby Tarantino III which is filled to the brim with some exceptional tracks, including the effort “God Might Judge” which sees Logic and his producer at their best.

Logic’s longtime producer 6ix comes through with some truly exceptional beat switches, all while Logic spits bars about temptation, women, and the judgment that can come with all of it. The vocal samples throughout the song deliver a truly old-school feel, and overall, this is one of the best tracks on the project.

You can check out this new effort, below.

Quotable Lyrics:

I say, “Who got the Ubеr on they phone?”
I ain’t tryna cuddle with you, girl, you sleepin’ on you own
